Help?
Well. At least you don't need to make any booze barrels now.
In all seriousness, its an ID conflict between the barrels and the unravelled fabric. I would suggest changing one of the block id's.
So, it appears that dying in the rifts is causing the game to crash. A couple things to note about this.
-1.5.1
-A number of other mods installed.
-Keep Inventory game rule set to true. (Reason being, I don't want to fight through impossibly hard mobs (while unarmed/armored) to get my loot back)
Anywho, you'll be needing this.

Just curious if anyone else is having issues running Dimensional Doors with Factorization 1.115 (yes i know beta and unstable.just asking) or know what the conflict is between them?
I get a fatal crash if I try to load minecraft (game not server) with the 2 mods. Don't want to get rid of IC2 but really like mod.

There is your problem... It is IC2 and this mod. Just changed one of the block IDs in the config to something the is currently not being used.
I remember that the stable fabric used to create random dungeon rifts. I am using 1.4.7, and had a problem with this mod, (I don't remember what is was) and so I removed it. Now, I saw that it had an update. I am still using 1.4.7, and I wanted to re-create dungeons where the stone brick things were. When I removed the mod, the rift blocks disappeared. Now, I want to re-make them with stable fabric. The only problem is that it doesn't do anything. It doesn't create a rift there, or anywhere else. I see in the console it says "Block metadata is #" whenever I use it. Is that all it does anymore? I want some dungeons

I removed that functionality in preparation for using it as a real thing, but I will add it back in on another item, I guess. Anyway, try placing a door inbetween the stone pillars, because unless you deleted the dimensionalDoorsData file, then those dungeons are still there, even if you had uninstalled the mod.
Great mod, finally a balanced way to get around Minecraft. I've encountered no problems so far aside from some incompatibility issues and a bit of lag.

I demand revenge. We need "ROBLOX sucks" cloaks NOW!
Had a bugged rift... I used a rift signature to create a rift between two points and added a door, as I was trying to move an unique mob over a distance of about 2 kilometers. Ended up having to go the long way, so I didn't want the door anymore. I broke the door on the far end and closed the rift. When I got back to the other end, I broke that door and closed that rift... and that's where the bug came in. The game stopped saving/loading the level; I could walk around but it didn't load any more chunks. The game would freeze upon quitting, and when I loaded the world, the rift was right there, unclosed.
I finally ended up fixing it by deleting ALL the dimensional doors related files from the save folder, and using MCEdit to delete the chunk with the rift in it. Luckily that was the only door-related thing in that world, so I didn't lose any pocket dimensions or anything.

Tried that first. Apparently I forgot that I deleted that. Either way, I went further in my world until I found some more ones that did work. Then used rift signatures combined with a link book to move them where I wanted.
Also, if you re-add that function, will you have a version for 1.4.7?

Hmm... Odd, what version was this is? Did the log contain anything funky/can you reproduce it?

Minecraft 1.5.1, mod version 1.3.3RC2-45. Unfortunately I'm unable to produce a log concerning the error; I ended up starting up and closing Minecraft several times after the fix, and the relevant log was overwritten. The game didn't create a crash report either. As for reproducing the error... I'll test it tomorrow, but the original error occurred as such:
1. Found and tamed rare mob, used signature on ground nearby.
2. Teleported back to spawn, used signature to create a rift.
3. Placed door over rift.
4. Used the door to go back to where the mob was.
5. Attempted several times to push the mob through the door; it would warp but I couldn't find it on the other side, reappearing back in its original location when I warped back.
6. Broke the door, closed the rift, and headed back home the long way.
7. After arriving at home, I broke the other door and attempted to close the rift, leading to the save/load error.
