I explained a while ago why this mod will not attempt to 'officially' work with any LOTR custom maps, and you can also read my explanation on the wiki's FAQs, which is linked in the post somewhere under the download.

When Mevans posts the updated version, what precausons will I need to take to keep my middle-earth saves? Also will installing be any different with the new texture folders things?
Mevans Could u make it so when you first create a world and when u go to morder gonder and rohan there won't be any orc towers and than after 5 mine craft day (or more) u will start seeing orc towers and they will keep building them and building them to make them stop building you have to kill all the orcs in that chunck
i found two half-bugs. first, potion of any kind dosen't effect sauron. second, while i summon friendly mobs from other mods (this case iron golem guardian from thaumcraft) he act like dorkness lord and not doing anything aginst them (they almost kill him).

I think potions are meant to not hurt Sauron and the other one not sure
Do I still only need Forge 518??? And has the 1.5 mod version been posted? This is the first and only mod I've ever gotten so forgive me for noobishness...
Mevans says that hes gonna release an update with the 1.5 conpatibility because he doesnt want this mod to get outdated. so the next release is just gonna be so that you can lay it in 1.5

It will be an updated version of the current Beta 2; all the new features we've been posting will be included in Beta 3, which will be released on the first of the month as usual.

Dont know if its jsut me, but reis minimap markers always disappear whenever i go back to the overworld then come back to middle earth (the markers i put in middle earth i mean)
Its kinda annoying since there are a few randomly generated structures that appeared in my middle earth that are insanly rare to the point there might only be one in my entire world, and i want them marked so i dont lose them.

Sorry, I don't have time to respond to every single post at the moment, although I do always read them. Anyway, 'race relationships' sounds interesting. Perhaps this could be the result of various quests? For example, do lots of dwarf quests, and the dwarves will begin to recognise you as one of their own. And dual wielding is a possibility... lots of people have requested it, so I might see what I can do some time in the future.
I'll be resubmitting the patch to Forge, so from now on the time until the update is entirely dependent on the time it takes them to see my patch, hopefully accept it, and release a new Forge version.
I don't know about this. Sounds like it might be an issue with the minimap working with new dimension mods rather than this mod itself. You could try noting down the coordinates of these structures in a file or something with the help of F3, or even writing a notebook ingame.
It has to be this mod, all my markers in twilight forest, the nether, and overworld are all in place still.
