I regret to inform you that your mod is in fact, not compatible with Forge. Such a shame. I would appreciate it if you updated your mod to make it compatible.
Okay, I tested this mod with Forge version 6.5.0.480. The game does load without any issues, but when you go to open or create a world, it freezes at the "Loading World" page and returns this error message.
(Also, every single base .class file within this mod is edited by Forge.)
So for anyone wondering about MineCraft Forge, there you go.
EDIT: Had to shrink the font size to get it to look the same way as in the crash log.
Yeah, forge is hard to make compatible without a merger. If only they could just modify one of the top level classes that have fields linking to all the other classes in the game...
Well, that must be the reason I can't download it. I'll be waiting, though, and I will definitely download it right when you do make it compatible.
I think the best way to make it compatible will be through a separate version of the mod which uses merged classes, although i need the source code of forge to do that. If you know how I can get it, please tell me.

They should have the source codes available for each version of MineCraft Forge here. Unfortunantely, the website is down as of right now.
Actually, try going to this page and click on Source on one of the Recommended lables. It's not quite the latest version of Forge, but you can get the files from there until the website that they use for downloads is up.

He's right. In fact the layers of snow have already been put in game. If you install Too many Items you can find about 8 different levels of snow.
I plan to add settings to the mod and that will be one. There will also be options for thickness and direction of snowfall.
This mod has 16 different layers as opposed to minecraft's 8. Also minecraft's are a bit broken as they start behaving like slab if they get to tall.
Thanks, i will see what classes it is incompatible with and try to fix it if I can.

Thanks!
I am looking into that. Also i am finishing an update that fixes a few bugs with the mod.

Ok thanks! I will get to work on that when their website is back up.
Thank you! I have embedded it on the front!
Wait is that actually confirmed? I'd be so happy if it got in.
I plan to add forge support, but forges website is still down and i cannot get a copy of the source. I also need to see if I can get BWG's source.
