Honestly, I'm thinking about leaving TC3 out of my mod setup until 3.1 comes out, and then using retro-gen. It makes a lot more sense then to use an updated version that may possibly be outdated in a couple of months. The same holds true for Thaumic Tinker, as some of the stuff it adds may get put in (in some way) into vanilla TC3.
Either this is a bug, or i'm one magical sob. Because whenever i look at a Greatwood tree's leaves, they turn into Silverwood leaves. I'm not even kidding. I'm so confused right now.

Do you have NEI's/tukMC's block reveal function turned on? Turn that off.
Had an idea for an additional block type .. warded bricks .. combine warded stone with glowstone in a 2x2 pattern to make warded bricks. This would provide multiple coloured bricks (aka the standard brick pattern) with a glowstone type mortar (some level of light emitting, maybe half?) *and* bring the protection power of warded stone.

I think that's an awesome idea. More warded block types would be great, but the glowing mortar would look fantastic. As long as it's not Xycraft-glowy-excessive-ness that is. Subtle. More 9mm and less Desert Eagle.
Edit as some people can get confused: I'm not working on thaumcraft itself, just developing an addon for it. Since I don't have a forum thread and azanor is in anti-teaser mode, I post some here now and then.
I think azanor is already working on the magic carpet... unless the carpet works like the gravitation engine of IC2 (keeps you in the air floating without hiting space) and your wand like a jetpack (you have to hold space to go up, else you fall) that would be amazing
sheamless plug: an autocrafting golem or a breeding golem would be nice too.

I understand how to seteverything up in the research table however once i find an aspect and it pops up in the middle, how do i know what aspect to look for next when all it says is obscuris in the middle? Is there a way to know which aspect next to look for instead of using wikis?

Look at the upper left corner of the GUI. There is a scroll there. Bringing the mouse over it will either give strange symbols or a description of what you are researching. The description generally hints towards the main aspects needed. If it is the strange symbols, you rely on guesswork.

Not necessarily. If you know the name of the item you are researching, you can put aspects related to it as well. Like the aspect for light (don't remember the name) in Nitor.
I ' ve spotted a very annoying bug , one of these that screw ALL the gameplay : after finishing researching for the unified thaumic theory, the wands don't recharge anymore !
Are the nodes completely screwed ?
I've ran into abit of a problem.
Recently I've installed a bunch of mods for my minecraft. It starts without problem so long I don't have Thaumcraft 3.0.4c in my .minecraft/mods folder. When I've Thaumcraft installed and launch minecraft, I get a black screen. I don't get any error message, I would've posted it if there were one.
Here is a list of the mods I am using (All for 1.5.2)
I'd love to see a flying carpet in any mod, especially this one!
I thought we already had the traveling trunks, but if its being remade I'd love to see it
I have a soft spot in me heart for animate storage devices, especially when they have legs
Now a flying traveling trunk would just be adorable.
I'm wondering if the golems are able to sit atop the traveling trunks
Now I'm imagining compatibility with Ironchests and Utility Mobs : D

Yo, mod addict here. Can be a bit verbose and expressive.
On servers with roleplay, I often roleplay a "Selkie Wizard". Expect "the foreign kid" trope being used every so often. Mostly I get bored just playing a human, and the whole fish out of water thing is fun to work with.
