i have a suggestion to a new magical item: a magical helm that gives you nightvision and breath under water.
this is just a fast suggesiton i dont know if it is good or bad.
that's like ic2's scubagear and ic2's nightvision goggles.
Technically it WAS my first agebook (out of 40-some) but alas, I don't have cheats on. You know me and my mania for playing 'legit...' I have Ars Magica installed, so there's eventually going to be a mage tower or archive SOMEWHERE with books in it. It's just a matter of slogging around with the Slowness II debuff and finding them... then killing a cartload of chickens... then going on a Sliders-like 'adventure' until I find a book with a Star Fissure.... then a 3km hike from spawn to my build site... T_T
If you're desperate and have NEI, go into creative, spawn a Notebook. It'll have all the symbols. I trust you know what to do from there.

plant a silverwood tree, they spawn with a PURE node

We know. Or at least most of us do. What most of us are bandying on about is being able to spawn any node anywhere, for testing, cheating, self-bugfixing, whatever.
... I sense an upcoming need for a thaumium sword, some flight and aura aspects and air shards...
Or perhaps I only imagine that I might need such things.
Pretty sure people already know about this, but you can get infinite Praecantatio aspects for free by throwing Tallow in the crucible, as it gives back exactly enough Corpus as it took to create, plus one unit of Praecantatio. Tallow should be fixed to only give two Corpus in my opinion. (I couldn't find the spoiler function)

To answer your previous statement, yes, you CAN do this, but it WILL cause a whole assload of Flux all over the place, so you'll have to think what's more important. Lots of Precantio or your node's stability.

Blast it all my world got corrupted now I gotta start over again... and I can't fix the corrupted issue because MCedit doesn't recognize mystcraft dimensions which is the cause for my game corruption.
It actually is broken right now and won't work with my current Mo'Creatures or my current Forge version. Apparently it's a forge problem and they're waiting on Forge to fix it.
So can anyone tell me how to edit the class or config or anything to make the Firebats go away?
If I delete EntityFirebat.class will it hurt anything or will it just remove the firebats?
If I can't delete it, is there anything in that mass of text that I can change to reduce their spawn? That's what I really want to do. There's TOO many of the things.

Also, using a backup program is good for that. I'm not entirely sure that the one I'm using back up Mystcraft Ages, though.

won't work, I went to the mystcraft age to check on my quarry and learned that the chest was over filled and everything spilling out of it which dropped FPS to 0 tried to delete the age and let it regen and that is where the problem popped up and corrupted my save. NEVER try to regenerate a age when YOU are in it. It'll break your world saves apparently. Lesson learned... ._. man I lost 100+ hours of work in that world.
Azanor, I am still new to the mods and don't know your plans and limits. I was wondering, since there are a lot of worker golems if there were possibilities for a worker golem that can construct a home from a schematic? You fill a set chest, set a marker for it to locate the home, pick the schema and it will construct it as long as it has the supplies? No supplies means it sits there, idle, till further supplied? I'm not askin for a mining golem or anything, just a Construction Golem. Is it possible? Does it fit the theme of the Mod? I would love to hear from your point of view.

Why don't you make a new world, copy your old world on top of that and there you go.
i just installed thaumcraft onto my computer and im having a great time but, whenever i try to hold a new discovory or the thomometer it is cut off of the bottom of my screen and i can only see a small bit to the top of the item, instead of the whole thing like on a map, when i tryed to fix this by uninstalling the mod and reinstalling it the problem was not fixed and my wands in the area stopped charging. when i was able to walk far enough away for my wand to recharge and than recearched the goggles of reveiling it says my vis level is at 580/580 with no flux but i cannot see a node annywhere nearby, eaven tho i live right next to two silverwood trees. also i cannot find annother node because i cannot se where the crystal in the thaumometer is pointing. can someone help me?
Im thinking its just a bug, but when im under the effects of a beacon i cant see the aspects of any items in my inventory. When I have a chest open its fine, its just the regular inventory that it doesnt work.
The mod's absoloute ****. It doesn't recognise any mod items.

it just seemed to be what you were looking for when i found the 1.1 beta thread so when I found an updated coy while grabbin machetis I posted it for ya too bad though if the maker fixed that issue id be great

Yeeeesss! I loved flying around with that in the Nether. One of the best items in TC2.
Try and find a Barrow dungeon
