Stop being lazy
1. Find your FTB files
2. Locate your FTB modpack you use
3. Drop the mod unextracted into instamods
4. Press F9 and prove me wrong 0_o
Do it old fashion way before you complain.
For Soundpack
Follow steps 1&2 (from above [silly])
3.Go into a folder named minecarft
3.5.(Start the game once with the mod)
4. Look to the top and Open a folder called Audiotori
5. Drop your unextracted soundpacks into there (make sure when you open the soundpack (of your choice) folder you see an bunch of folder that look like "gibberish".
(Only If) If you see a bunch of folder but a folder with a similar name in the folder, take the 1 folder you see and drag it out
(Only if). Take the folder inside the folder that has a bunch of folders in it and drop that 1 folder into the folder Audiotori (I hope you rember the main folder we talk about 4 seconds ago)
that is exactly what i did before i came here. and it didnt work.
Considering this is mod loader and not forge, this probably isn't a possibility sadly, but I'll ask nontheless. Would it be possible for you to hook into Forge Essentials and use their Zone defenitions to play music upon entering a zone? (And fading out upon leaving)
This music would take priority over other tracks obviously.

Hello!
Just dropping in to say that Audiotori is now in The Minecraft Ascension Modpack (TMAM) for Minecraft 1.4.7. The modpack uses a lot of tech mods and overall purpose is to automate systems. If you want to check it out, it's forum page is found here! Thanks to Huricaaane for this wonderful Mod!
If anyone is trying to make a custom music pack, I recently made one of my own and it works flawlessly. I'll detail the procedure here; I'm assuming you've already figured out how to install the mod.
Step 1: Select the music you want to use in the pack. You can choose to replace either the "ambient" music or just the discs - in my case, I did both. A word of caution; loud music can be very very startling. I used only instrumental music from my own personal music library for my own pack.
Step 2: Duplicate all of those music files and store them in a folder on your desktop for quick access.
Step 3: This one is trickier. Before you can put the music into the pack, you have to convert all of the audio to .ogg files. This can be done using any number of online programs or downloadable applications. Personally, I used an app called Music Converter To-All, which cost me a dollar on the Mac App Store. I am on a Mac, but the procedure should be the same on most operating systems.
Once you have the program running, convert all of the music to .ogg format.
Step 4: Create a folder to represent your music pack on the desktop. Title it whatever you want - we'll call it Better Music.
Step 5: Go to your Minecraft folder > Resources. Three folders - streaming, music, and newmusic - should appear. Duplicate those folders and paste them into Better Music. Make sure the spelling and capitalization is exactly the same. Otherwise, Minecraft won't recognize the files and they won't be played.
A side note: streaming contains all the music discs. music and newmusic contain the ambient music, that plays randomly during gameplay. You can only replace streaming if you like, or just music and newmusic, or both. Keep in mind what you want to do with the pack as you make it.
Step 6: I recommend you make a Word document to keep track of the music in the pack as you replace it. It can be easy to forget which files you've replaced, or accidentally put the same song in twice.
Mine looked something like this - you can copy the format if you like.
newmusic:
hal1.ogg = The Gravel Road (James Newton Howard)
hal2.ogg = Snow White (James Newton Howard)
hal3.ogg = Limitless (Epic Soul Factory
hal4.ogg = Define Dancing (Thomas Newman)
nuance1.ogg = Hello World (Two Steps From Hell)
nuance2.ogg = Memories (Two Steps From Hell)
piano1.ogg = The Longships (Enya)
piano2.ogg = Northern Pastures (Two Steps From Hell)
piano3.ogg = The Council of Elrond (Enya)
streaming:
11.mus = Nemo Egg (Thomas Newman)
13.ogg = Fairy Dance (James Newton Howard)
blocks.mus = Silver Comforts Jim (James Newton Howard)
cat.ogg = Tropical Resort Act 1 (Sonic Colors)
chirp.mus = Rain (Hans Zimmer)
far.mus = Homeland (Hans Zimmer)
mall.mus = The Memory of Trees (Enya)
mellohi.mus = Creo En Ti (Epic Soul Factory)
stal.mus = Extinction (Epic Soul Factory)
strad.mus = Taken By Surpreeze (Thomas Newman)
wait.mus = It Tells a Story (Two Steps From Hell)
ward.mus = Heretic, Hero (Halo 2)
Step 7: This is the tedious part. Open up Better Music and open up the folder you wish to replace the music inside with. As an example, say we wished to replace the contents of the music folder.
These files will be seen inside:
calm1.ogg
calm2.ogg
calm3.ogg
Take the three pieces of music you wish to use in this folder, and rename them to calm1.ogg, calm2.ogg, and calm3.ogg. Now drag them into the custom pack, and replace the existing files. Repeat this process for the other folders you wish to replace, and make sure to keep track of your progress on the word document so you don't lose your way.
Once all of this is complete, open up your Minecraft folder and drop Better Music into the Audiotori folder. Assuming you've done everything right, this should be all you need to do. Press F9 ingame and make sure the pack is on - test it by pressing the little play button on the bottom of the screen. If you hear your custom music, you've succeeded. Congrats.
Make sure to keep the document that kept track of the music you've replaced; it can be helpful if you wish to put in different music later without completely rewriting the pack.
Can you make this mod work with "Better Sound Mod" http://www.minecraft...sm-alpha-v0015/ It currently doesnt conflict but it does override the settings.
I finally found out what is in the mcforge log when my game freezes up on me. It's been doing this to me for several versions.
I'm using LWJGL 2.8.4 as 2.8.5 is completely messed up in Minecraft. (clicking ingame makes you stop moving)
Looks like something on my end.

Using forge and when I open it it says "Forge mod loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation""You have mod sources that are duplicate with your system" Mod ID: File name
mod_Audiotori: Audiotori_r3__1_4_6_.zip
mod_Audiotori: minecraft.jar
Hi folks, I could use some help getting this to work. My goal is to simply remove the portal sounds.
I think perhaps I am not installing correctly. I am on a Mac. I tried installing it two different ways:
1. patching the .jar using MCPatcher
2. placing the .zip in library/application support/minecraft/mods
I am running the game after each try. I checked the minecraft.jar and the files have been pasted in (ie MCPatcher worked).
When I go to library/application support/minecraft/ there is no Audiotori folder. There is a new folder called "mods" in minecraft/resources. This doesn't seem to be the folder people are putting sound packs in, although it has a sound related file tree?
In minecraft, when I press F9 nothing happens.
I tried testing it with the no footsteps sound pack in the /minecraft/resources/mods/sound folder. It didn't work, either as a zip or extracted.
Please let me know if you can tell what I'm doing wrong. Thanks very much.
