It's on Github, you'll just have to go *way* back. pahimar doesn't use Releases on Github (yet), so unlike BuildCraft, his releases aren't conveniently tagged at a certain commit.
An easy way to find it would be to open up version.xml, and then hit History, click the SHA #, then click Browse Code next to the commit message.
Done for you: nice little link
...and pahimar is back!
He just merged multiple pull requests, including 3 minor translation changes.
WHAT GRADLIZATION MEANS (IMPORTANT):
pahimar will be merging AbrarSyed's Gradlization PR *very* soon. This means that we (the people who compile builds) will have to adjust to that, so builds might be slow coming for a while. On the other hand, it could prove amazingly easy to use. We'll see.

Don't worry, it's very easy to use.
It's as easy as `gradlew.bat setupDevWorkspace`, then `gradlew.bat build`.

Good to know, will try it today.
More Gradle/EE3 news:
Gradlization is now in effect.
pahimar has changed the versioning scheme from version-buildnumber (eg Lluixhi's builds) to major.minor.buildnumber (eg 0.0.28, which is what is in the properties file right now).
Preliminary work on EMC values for other mods (WIP).
Now officially on gradle! New build
Look at Wliu's News.
I'll be updating the README shortly.
I'm keeping the version string "pre2a" in my builds until pahimar updates to 1.7.x, or until christmas, the release of ee3 (whichever comes first).
Hey, I'm really excited about this mod, and I'm curious what will be in the Dec. 25th release. Anyone know where I can read up on what will be included in that?

Not really, but you could look at pahimar.com or the unofficial changelogs.
WARNING TO PEOPLE WHO USE THIS BUILD:
There is already one report of a NPE on startup (doesn't happen with just EE3 installed). It's been reported on Github already, if you happen to have this error, report it here.
Any chance that someone could explain a bit about this upcoming release to someone that does not read code? And before any flame starts, which I've seen a lot of on this thread, I have gone back several pages and have not seen much that I at least understand. I also became irritated with the arguing and gave up searching for answers. If my question has already been answered, feel free to copy-paste what it was. Thank you.

pahimar hasn't released any details, but dynEMC will most likely be finished or near-finished in that release (eg Minium Stone recipes come back). Don't think there's much else that'll be in it.
NEW BUILD! GIANT NEW BUILD! http://50wliu.github.io/EE3-Downloads/
Compiled against MC 1.6.4/Forge 9.11.1.964/commit 19569e490fabec1823c0998dcc78657bab80ea04
Fixes a very annoying NPE crash upon loading MC, and also ADDS OFFICIAL SUPPORT FOR IC2.
Finally fixes the NullPointerException crash, adds IC2 support, restructures the package, and some better code.
(Should be about the same as Wliu's build.)

Both yours and Wliu's build load fine on the client but crash my MCPC+ server with a stack overflow...I posted an issue on the EE3 GitHub but they seem to think it's a problem with the fork you built from. Thanks for trying but I can't use either build on my server as they are right now.
To Quote Pahamir:
Where did you get this copy of EE3? Judging by the version number, it's someone elses fork of it (our version number schema changed as well).
Either way, the version you have is out of date with the current repo. Whomever built that for you - have them sync up with the repo again and get you a new copy.
A lot of people felt that EE2 was rather cheater with the collectors and what not, but I rather liked the freedom from mining and destroying worlds(with thinks like turtles and quarries). Would you consider implementing a EE2 mode option to allow for the cheater collector type mechanic to be used in peoples games that would rather play in pseudo creative?
This is perhaps my favorite mod right under treecapitator.. mostly due to how obnoxious trees are to chop down these days... ohh the days of 5 logs on top of each other with leaves around them.

It's built against forge .964? I've only heard bad things about that forge version and most people seems to be using .953. Can it still be run on .953?
That's because .964 is not meant for public use in terms of running mods. .953 is the latest stable version for public use and should run mods compiled with .964 just fine.
You were assuming he was using a 1.5 version.
But there are plenty of 1.6 builds over the last few pages
thank you very much xD

The versioning scheme didn't change because.
Should be exactly the same as Lluixhi's version.
Transmutation Circles! (Woot)
Not really, but you could look at pahimar.com or the unofficial changelogs.
New build should be coming later today (on Ubuntu, so it might not happen).
Fixed IMC calls in EE3, and some work on common ore recipes/emc.
