but seriously, quit whining. From the OP alone and whats been seen so far its looking to be an awesome mod. Remember, this isnt EE2 V2, this is EE3, a new mod entirely. If you dont like it, dont use it. that simple

Hey phaminar, I have a suggestion which you could put in your future releases, when you add the EMC values to the game, you could make a condenser like item that works kind of like the transmutation tablet, a chest that requires coal, wood ...etc as fuel to burn the items into EMC and then the transmutation feature where you could select stuff that you want to transmute!
Red matter is gone because something better is on the way...quit crying or go ask mommy to code you a mod like EE2 so you can run around in re-textured dark matter armor! You can always tell the haters and children who just came here to complain because they only have like 2-10 posts and signed up the day of the complaint lol.
Not sure if this idea has been brought up before but I didn't find anyone asked on here or Github. Will there be a blacklist of some sort on what recipes the minium/philosopher stone can transmute? It would help keep players on servers from exploting things like using the Thermal Expansion saw mill to get infinite wood.

I heard that there is going to be a dynamic EMC system that will adapt to most/all crafting methods to prevent exploits.
Hm... dynamic EMC system... I have an idea that I'll just throw out there.
I noticed that when you look up the recipes and uses of an object in NEI you can scroll through all of the different machine recipes. An idea for the dynamic system would be to check the items that anything produces (sticks from wood, blaze dust from blaze powder), and then multiply it by X/N where X is the original production amount and N is the machine production amount. So if a macerator makes 6 blaze powder, it would multiply the EMC value by 2/6, thus balancing in respect to a mod.
Chances are that is a million times easier said than done, and you'll have to balance by both the recipes and the uses, but that is the closest I can come up with for a system that doesn't make you go on a mod by mod basis.
Hey pahimar, I have a suggestion for the mod:
A new interdiction torch system. Since there are now two "philosopher stones", there would be 2 types of interdiction torch, a low type and a high type.
The low type would give a light level of 10, repel mobs at a circumference of 9 and would last for 3 minecraft days (A.K.A one hour) CRAFTING
R D R
D M D
d d d
Recipe gives 2 low-type interdiction torch
R= Redstone Torch
D= Diamond
M= Minion Stone
d= Any dust you think is better for this recipe
The high type would give a light level of 15, repel mobs at a circumference of 13 and would last forever CRAFTING
R D R
D P D
d G d
Recipe gives 2 high-type interdiction torch
R= Redstone Torch
D= Diamond
P= Philosopher's Stone
d= Any dust you think is better for this recipe
G= Glowstone block

It's hard not to have something better when it was always mostly a luxury that only makes things a tad faster outside of collectors. I mean, how often would you have the need to shoot lightning or spontaneously explode? The tools really just mine faster too, or in the morning star and katar's case save inventory space.

I was using this mod to help me get everything (iron,redtsone,arrows, things like that...)
but now all I can have is loads of blocks that are quite useless...except for diamon and iron. I'm just wondering why the table got removed...I mean it could be the same as EE just add the new items and check the EMC if it's okai or I'll do XD

As I understand it Pahimar and Xeno never really liked the red matter. They felt it was just a re-textured dark matter. It is being taken out of the mod more for that reason than a need to balance. Because truth be told there are other mainstream mods that add items to mine quickly...like the mining laser form IC2...now I know its not as uber as dark and red matter but that doesn't mean that Pahimar should have to construct this mod around making up for the lack of mining instruments in other mods. That said you must have missed the other posts that have stated....while red matter is gone and will not return...Pahimar has plans to make dark matter tools better and the armor will be socketed allowing for all kinds of possibilities. I know there are a ton of posts to weed through but that has been stated by Xeno (the original creator of EE) whom is in almost constant contact with Pahimar (the current maintainer and developer of EE3). Pahimar is a genius who I believe is a founding father of ForgeCraft but I could be wrong on that account. My point is that if everyone would just give him the time to create this amazing mod (from infrastructure up to content) and give him good feedback rather than begging for items that may or may not make a return in the same or some new improved form, we will all be that much better off for it when the mod is finished. Please I beg all of you reading this just take the time to put yourselves in the shoes of Pahimar, here he is trying to create something amazing for all of us with no real prospect of a financial gain and yet we can not go one page on this thread without someone bashing him. How would that make you feel?
I know a fair amount of you are young and it is hard to control yourself when you get upset but please try. Trust us older folks...when this mod is done you will completely forget about EE2 or look on it with fair memories but without finding yourself wanting. That said I am not saying all younger folks are the ones flipping out, I know there are some level headed youngsters on MC forums.

Something that's been on my mind is that collectors had been removed. Does this mean the relays are staying?

I may or may not play GT. I also might be playing it with TiC. Some Metallurgy and ExtraTiC could be in the mix too. I might have also dropped in some TE as well. Some AE and BC could possibly be on the list. And I maybe- just maybe - there's NEI to assist in short-term memory loss that I may or may not have.
Why is this mod being made? I used EE2 for all of the things that are being removed. Just update EE2 or let someone else do it and call this something else.
No one that complained about the removed items where even users of EE2, what are you catering to people who hated the mod in the first place?

Have you noticed all the people that are defending your "argument"?

One of the people that "hated the mod in the first place" is the original creator who is the only one other than Pahimar that is able to update EE2, so you are sort of out of luck as far as any possibility of an update, which according to Xeno, Pahimar and multiple server admins is a good thing, I agree as well but my opinion carries precisely nil weight
Edit: Sorry guys I thought he removed it cause of people overusing it.

If you look Right above you you will see exactly why the mod isn't going to be updated and why collectors have been removed.
