The second needs to be exactly 2x1. 40x20 or 46x23. This holds 2 images, the passive and aggressive symbol indications.
215:99 would make little to no difference, it was the dimensions the original skin was made(not by me). You can also look at the custom skin available on the main post as well. It doesn't use my dimensions, but follows the 2.15:1 proportions.
Also the aspect may change slightly from image to use in game, as I adjusted the original to suit my needs. If it squishes using the 2.15:1 ratio, make the original stretched a bit.(or vise versa)

Maybe Minecraft dosen't link the 2.15:1 ratio, the font for the life points on the display seem to be affected by this too. The Minecraft font hates to be anything but mutipales of size 8 (it may be 6, I can't remember)
I can send you my textures if you want to mess with it, but if not - I'll just stick with the default. It's pretty cool.

Happening to me too. Except when I throw a pixelmon, which crashes it.

There has been problems with this mod before, i'm sure rich will look into it

Don't use this mod with pixelmon mod, it has it's own healthbars anyways. The mobs from pixelmon do not use the standard mob system in place and can not be compatible.

The server needs to have the mod running. This is a vanilla minecraft limitation, the server does not tell the client the health of any player or mob, so the mod needs to be running on the server so the health will update.

So because one mob type in my game has it's own healthbar, I shouldn't mind not using a healthbar system for all the other mobs?

No, it is just that he has dynamically generated mobs which are coded in a way unique to his mod. This causes confusion when my mod tries to retrieve 'generic' mob information, as ALL the pixelmon mobs are registered as the same exact mob. Maybe that makes sense to you.
