@Gwafu: I bet, you'll get it working. There are only a few real good developers out for farming and brewing. Brewing is mainly your part. Natura and Pam's Harvescraft are the other mods. So yes: I think, you're able to get the mod to a state, everybody would like to play it. I see, you really spent a lot of time for visually just a few things (i know, how hard it is to code such things) and it's not self-evidently to also support such beggers like me .
Nah, to bring it on: Growthcraft is an amazing mod and it deserves to play with TE3, IC2, BC3, AE2 etc. There is so much room left you probably can build in, like cooking in the cauldron with water and ingredients, compressing dusts to blocks in the press, etc. There are many things in my mind, you may support. And I'm glad to be able to test them, if you've built in something.
The thing about ThaumCraft golem integration is, the mod author has to talk to Azanor about compatibility. From what I've read in his thread on the subject (I asked if he could make the golems harvest tile entity crops in the API), there was a snafu involving IC2 crops and the golems harvesting them that the IC2 team didn't like, so Azanor doesn't do default compatibility with other mods anymore. He is however, more than willing to work something out with the mod author if the mod author wants integration with ThaumCraft.
I cannot seem to ferment apple cider with the barrel. I've pressed the apples and filled the barrel up with three buckets of cider (2997) but the bubbles don't do anything. I tried putting redstone in the left slot too. Any suggestions? I am using MCPC and have a few mods installed. Here is my server log:
Gwafu, Does your code update gui every processed item even if that gui is closed ? I'm asking because every processed item ( on finish event ) I am noticing lag spike - more noticable for kettle, less for fruit press. This happens when I'm close to "machines".
Ps. I beg you, pls reconsider adding back abillity to extend time of growth/brew like in old versions - for me whole process is happening way too fast :).
Hmmm lemme check. I can't really recreate fps drops/performance loses since they all run fine for me. I guess I need some cleaning to do.

Yep. Fixing them at the time. I wish they would work. ;_;
Regarding the 999 fluid capacity with the blocks, it is for divisibility. I'm aware that a bucket should hold 1000 fluid. But how about bottles?
In vanilla Minecraft, a cauldron can be filled by one bucket and can be drained by 3 bottles.
That would be 1000/3 = 333.33..
That would mean by using bottles on a 1000 filled tank, there would be 1 fluid left. :V

Growthcraft crops are actually quite simple. Thaumcraft API already enough to make the golems harvest them. No special stuff required.
By the way, Straw Golem harvesting fixed. Will be part of 2.0.3 bugfixes.

The fermenting process takes one Minecraft day to finish. That's why you are not seeing bubbles the instant you place a nether wart (or any other ingredient) in the barrel.
Its been in since I posted last lol. Over three hours ago. Ive been playing for a quite a bit of that time and nothing has happened. Sorry for the confusion.
I agree compiling all into one is the best way foward, but you could just have a .cfg where fools who don't like all of your awesome mod can disable parts.

You say Straw Golem harvesting. Are you using the ThaumCraft 3 API or the ThaumCraft 4 API? Any ThaumCraft 4 golem, straw or not, can harvest crops if equipped with the right core, and the APIs between the two ThaumCrafts are vastly different. I haven't used golems to try to harvest GrowthCraft stuff yet, but other users a page or three back in the thread are reporting that they do not work with ThaumCraft 4.

You could have a 1000mb tank and just add a code to empty it if there's only 1mb left. Possibly add a delay of 5 ticks or so to accommodate draining processes with 1mb increments.
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!

I simply say, have it do 1000, then have the bottles take the 333, and have the 1 fluid merely disappear. It's a small waste, but that's not something you can control.

Tanks will be by 1000 mB (millibuckets) now.
The 1 mB extra will not be removed. Go remove it yourself through the discard button.
Minor suggestion: label the button to delete that last mB "Clear Dregs" or "Wash Barrel". That would explain why a "fully emptied" barrel still needs to be emptied more.
I've been playing the latest release with several other mods and have a quick request/suggestion. Would it be possible to allow your bottled drinks to be placed on Bibliocraft potion shelves? Just a suggestion, and thanks soooooo much for such a wonderful mod!
Shelf compatibility happens on Bibliocraft's side. Go into the config and add the drink names to the potion shelf list.

Back in 152, I always put her drinks on Biblio's "wooden shelves". Only 4 per shelf, but put all of the shelves together, and it looks very cool. Just an idea. Hope this helps.

You can add the names or part of the names of the items you want to put on Bibliocraft potion shelves, in Bibliocraft's configs. I added a bunch of Witchery items in that way. Same approach for books to the bookshelves etc. If you don't want to alter the configs you need to ask the Bibliocraft devs to include Growthcraft items.
Fruit press, brew kettle, and ferment barrel now work with any Forge Fluids and Containers. But that's useless since only the Fluids from Growthcraft have register interactions with the blocks. Gonna test them with Buildcraft and other liquid transporting stuff.
Growthcraft is pretty awesome (:
I've had a lot of trouble finding beehives in my Biomes O Plenty world tho.
I added the biomes into the config, but it's hard to tell if it's working. Has anyone had any sucess with that?

I agree. Its acceptable waste.
That's all.

Ah, Thanks much. I was not aware.

quicker to just learn to modify the configs.

Onwards to weekend vacation! See you at Sunday.
