Oh, by the way, here's a sneak peak of the next mod:
It's already playable, but there's still bugs to be purged (like that weird growth which looks like a crucifix) and some sprite-ing and texturing to be done.
This may be the last crop/plant-able since I'll be moving to world generation and more game mechanics (cooking, hunting, etc.).
The mod adds grapes with completely new growing mechanics and a few other stuff.
See the screenshots for a better description.
Finding Grapes - They spawn randomly around the world underneath Oak leaves which is one block above the ground (only on Forest and Plain biomes).
Growing Grapes - Extract seeds from grapes (through crafting) then plant them on either dirt or grass. The trunk of the whole grape plant will appear and start to grow. It will have three visible stages and is quite tough to destroy (like a tree wood, you'll need an axe). Place an iron wire at the top of the trunk and another two blocks above the placed iron wire. After this, continue completing the iron wire line either vertically, horizontally, or both. Grape bushes will start to appear, but they will only function if a "mother grape bush" (the one with the trunks) is three (changeable through the config file) blocks near.
The grape bushes are hard to remove, since you're destroying the Iron Wire itself. So you'll need a pickaxe to completely destroy it or use shears to just clip the bush.
Harvesting Grapes - The grape bushes will spawn grapes below them. It will undergo three visible stages to maturity.
Grapes - The grapes can be eaten to restore a small amount of hunger (1 hunger bar) or crafted into a grape wine.
Grape Wine - Although it loses the ability to restore hunger, it will gain the potion effect "Resistance" which boosts your defense for 5 minutes. It has a maximum 1 item per stack. Once drank, the glass bottle is retained. Simply, it's a cheaper alternative for Golden Apple's Resistance effect.

Hey!
Thanks for these great mods. I'm loving the grazing and the melon spawns and I'd love to play with the fishnet one too but my fishnet is curiously devoid of fish v.v
Can someone explain to me the purpose of the top GUI square? I think I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance
!!Since this only have 37 downloads (at the time), I am thinking of updating this to a simpler one since I got reports that the mechanics is kind of complicated.
Me too am disappoint to its outcome. So yeah, I'll try to update without messing
your saves.!!
The new planned mechanic is to use the vanilla vines, thereby reducing used Block IDs to only 1 (the grape).
Cool mods, you should do a download for all of the up to date mods in one, it would make it easier for people who wanted to use all your up to date mods

Run the mod/s first so it creates CFG files in the config folder of your .minecraft folder. Open them with Notepad or any text editing programs. Once you open, you'll see stuff with "..ID" on it. These variables are the IDs of the custom blocks/items used by the mod. Play with those (I don't why it transforms the default IDs (150s and so on) into 4000+)
So, I just learned how to modify base class files (mainly blocks, items, and entities) without editing the files themselves. Here's a result, enjoy!
(Stupid name and stupid banner x_x)
Probably the most stupid name and banner in this mod pack.
Tall Grass Plus adds Carrots and Potatoes on the existing Tall Grass drops. As a bonus, it also allows the user to change the drop rate (default at 11.11%) of the Tall Grass' drops and the chance (default at 20.00%) of the carrots/potatoes showing up.
To top that, it doesn't edit a single base class file, so there will be lesser incompatibilities.

Hey, I love these small mods! But I have a question, how can I have texture pack support for these mods? As in, what directory should I use for the textures, if any?
Hey, I love these small mods! But I have a question, how can I have texture pack support for these mods? As in, what directory should I use for the textures, if any?
Check the mods in the first post. The directory of everything is listed in the Installation part of the mods. The textures have the "_tex.png" at the end.
Eh no. Renders in minecraft are only composed of rectangles/squares planes(4-point shapes) or cubes/rectangular prisms(8-point shapes). The closest thing to spheres is two planes which intersect each other with a circular texture.
Love the look of these mods, but I'm wary of editing classes in the jar. Are you planning on making this work from the mod folder, or in multiplayer? Just wondering, I don't mean to pester you! (=
Woah, I absolutely love every mod you have here, simply ingenues especially your grape mod, i have been looking for something like that FOR EVER. keep up the great work
Its useful since the babies grow up faster
The mod (AppleGen) works fine for me:
Judging by that crash report, I'm guessing you messed up somewhere with Forge.
