Would it be possible to alter the .ignore list so that you're able to blacklist entire FOD groups at a time? I was hoping to blacklist the circuitTier00-05 groups entirely before I found out they're disabled by default, but it would seem a nicer way of doing things than manually blacklisting all entries within a group.
Alter? It already works that way - you can blacklist entire "ore" types or specific itemstacks. Check out the example omnitools.ignore file on the download page.
The wrench is acting weird for me on IC2 solars, the solar I click on breaks, shows the drop, but I can't pick it up and I can't walk where the block was. Clicking it again with the wrench (in the now empty space where the solar was), the solar appears to come back (the drop still stays on the ground but can't be picked up).

Need more info than "HALP! BORKEN!" Which MC version? Which versions of both mods? If you run FTB or if you run it manually via the console (java -jar minecraft.exe) do you get any console messages?
I believe my post has a little more detail than a misspelled "HALP! BORKEN!" post but you are correct in that I should have provided version info. MC 1.4.6, Forge .473, IC2 .112 and OmniTools 2.2.3. Not FTB and no console msgs on the server. Also, in case someone asks, these are the IC2 solar panels, not Advanced or Compact Solars.
Seems to be all IC2 machines, just tried it on an electric furnace and it did the same thing. I then tried it on a wooden waterproof pipe between 2 tanks and it worked fine.
Yeah there's a good chance it's borked, won't lie on that. I'm home for the holidays and I normally work 12 hour days, so the update was a mostly blind compile vs the new IC2 api, not sure if they've intentionally broken the wrench or I've messed the implementation up.
I'll see about a fix on it, but no promises as I'm spending time with family.
can any1 tell me where is omni tools for minecraft 1.4.5 pls? i cant find it any where
Given KingLemming is likely busy i'll put this up temporarily, i'll remove it later. In the future, use proper english. (any1 != english, pls != english)

Thanks for the link mate, sorry about the improper english just used to typing like that.
I got another question, is the recipe different for this version of omnitools? I can see the wrench and table in creative mode but am unable to craft the things.

Nothing has changed with the recipes; I am able to craft them without issue.
Has been added to the Previous Versions page on the wiki. (Psst, you should upgrade MC.)

Errrrrr sorry your right about the recipe being the same, mistook cyan wool for lauzi loupiz how babaish of me.
(psst i cant upgrade MC using lotsa mod and some dont agree with 1.4.6, must the the six at the end it is a pretty evil number)
pretty useful mod by the way got lots of versions of tin/copper/silver etc and its useful for keeping them in the same stack, nice wrench as well probably better then the electric wrench cause seems like it doesnt have a failure rate and doesnt use any electricity must be the sexy cyan wool that covers it eh?
2.2.5 is now up. Fixes the issues where the wrench wasn't working right with IC2 machines. Assuming IC2 addons correctly use the new IC2 wrench api, it should also work with them.

Hello!
Just droping in to say that OmniTools is now in The Minecraft Ascension Modpack (TMAM) for Minecraft 1.4.6. The modpack uses a lot of tech mods and overall purpose is to automate systems. If you want to check it out, it's forum page is found here! Thanks to all of the CoFH team for this wonderful Mod!
P.S. Also looking at getting Thermal Expansion in the modpack. Do I have permission?
This needs a block list for server admins. You can Omni-Wrench FULL Personal safes, even ones that don't belong to you, making it un-usable on our server. Love this Idea though and its working great otherwise! Thanks!
>omnitools 2.2.5 IC2 1.112.170 MC 1.4.6 Forge 6.5.0.489 and other unrelated mods, mainly from direwolf20 FTB pack(v3)
When prototype omniwrench is used on IC2 MFSU (on non-output side), the rotation is server-side and the rotation is corrected only after a period of time or a update is issued. May be a vanilla thing, just FYI.

One more thing is it's rational to think that the wrench would work on compact solar panels and advanced solar panels. I think that compatibility should be added. Maybe it's just because those mods just searched for the wrench class, in that case I think you and those modders should have a talk of some kind, I mean, it's not that hard, right?
if you bothered reading a few posts up, those mods dont use the IC2 wrench API (yet) so the omniwrench cant work with them
you cant expect the wrench to work for mods that dont implement API's....
Why would someone would use a wrench anyway, when they can use the awesome power of a diamond pickaxe!

Enjoy the time with the family, a fix can wait. Happy Holidays! =)

MineFactory Reloaded Support, ideally proper MFFS support - wrench won't remove safes with things in them, etc.
No recipes up, use NEI - sorry. I'm sick and lazy.
Oh, and the textures are now 32x.
