Hey I'm getting an error with the latest version for 1.5.2.
I'm playing with many other mods, mostly Tekkit.

I had a few ideas, and if you could respond telling my how easy/hard each will be to make, please do. So this first idea I had was when I was playing in my tekkit world and I had a hard time turning them on, since levers were showing, so I thought about there being an inverted one that is always on and can be turned off with redstone. It could be crafted by a floodlight and a redstone torch possibly? Just a thought. Another cool idea I had was an upgraded floodlight that with a simple punch with a fist would adjust the brightness, in case you wanted a room dimmer or brighter. This last idea is basically an electronic torch that has twice (Or more) the light radius. It could help with lighting up big mines, but could look bad so you wouldn't use them on a house or something. Could possibly use coal, redstone, and iron to craft? Hope these ideas might spark other ideas for this amazing mod! (200th Post)
I dont know if its just my eyes but when placed on the ground facing up the light is bright as ever but when placed on a ceiling facing the ground it looks dim (not the light it gives off but the block its self)...anyone else having this problem?

It's probably not just your eyes -- I think I know what's causing this. I'll look into it.
Looks great, when I get around to trying this mod i'll def let you know what I think. IC2 support as well? even better.
Edit: read both the links and didn't see anything in particular about compatibility or bugs. Are there any known incompatibility issues with other mods? Are there any currently known bugs at the moment?

I'm assuming that my steve's carts cart is trying to break one of the light blocks, or there's a turtle trying to break them. I really have no idea, since I was careful not to put the lights anywhere that could be problematic.
Edit:
Turning off the lights that were shining on the tops of the trees (that I used to light up the ceiling) fixed the crashing.
Edit 2:
Uhh, it just crashed again when I ran across the tree farming room...
Edit 3: Aha! I found the cause! Since the invisible light block apparently lacks a texture, when you jump while sprinting over a light, minecraft has no idea what to use for the sprinting particle effects, and throws an error.
I've been using this mod for a long time. I've always lit all of my houses and factories with the IC2 lights, but now it doesn't agree with the new experimental version of IC2. The game crashes when I place a light, even if I don't connect it to electric, and I need to delete your mod if I want to save my game. If you have time, and if its possible, please make it compatible.
Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. I've been trying to use this mod today and have run into a bit of a problem. I put all the items needed to craft one of the items but when I try to pull it into my inventory it will not leave the table. If I try to use it in creative mode it puts the item in my inventory bar but the item disappears as soon as I try to place it in the world.
The client shows that the mod is loaded and active as is MC Forge and all versions are the latest. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hey Greg, got a bug report for you when I tried placing an IC2 Floodlight:

When a hopper is placed underneath a light it tries to pickup the lightblocks and the server goes kerblooie
It's probably not just your eyes -- I think I know what's causing this. I'll look into it.
It looks like the config file is messed up. Have you been editing it?
Edit: read both the links and didn't see anything in particular about compatibility or bugs. Are there any known incompatibility issues with other mods? Are there any currently known bugs at the moment?
(Please quote me so I get notification of a reply)
I ran into this as well, took me forever to find out why my server was crashing as the hopper was a long ways away.
I emailed Greg about it before I saw this thread.
I'm assuming that my steve's carts cart is trying to break one of the light blocks, or there's a turtle trying to break them. I really have no idea, since I was careful not to put the lights anywhere that could be problematic.

Edit 3: Aha! I found the cause! Since the invisible light block apparently lacks a texture, when you jump while sprinting over a light, minecraft has no idea what to use for the sprinting particle effects, and throws an error.
it also happen when flying through the lightbeam with an ic2 jetpack
http://pastebin.com/dwJKsqMi
Edit:
also when placing an IC2 electric floodlight the game crashes and the world can't be loaded again (using ic2 experimental #170)
http://pastebin.com/c42vf2xy
The client shows that the mod is loaded and active as is MC Forge and all versions are the latest. Any help is greatly appreciated.
http://pastebin.com/LEL5nPvJ
EDIT: One way that I have seen cause this crash is an entity or player walking into the beam of light caused by the flood light.
