If it must be two items, I'd go for string and lapis lazuli. String from the wraps, and bling because mummies were at least stereotypically filthy rich and indeed buried with treasure, so it just seems logical.
I'd go with the Ice Wolf, just because it would be a one-block high mob and that's new. You could either roll with a re-colored vanilla wolf (possibly complete with taming it somehow?), or pull a Mo' Creatures and make an intricate model just for the lols. If you went the second route, I'd take "ice" to it's logical extent and have them made out of the stuff, pointy shards jutting out of them and everything. Come to think of it, that could make it a Ragnarok Online reference, could it not? I just don't remember the name of that mob... Not every mob has to be a monster girl, y'know. Just look at the Mimic, at the very least.

Though the Minotaur is supposed to be more dangerous (even being a level 3 mob), even a single Minotaurus rates higher on a danger scale of "tiny slime" to "we're @#&$ed" than a Minotaur; and, fun fact, multiple Minotaurs don't really increase danger all that much, whereas multiple Minotaurus increase danger level by an exponent of N3.

true. they're also a huge pain. it's also disorienting that they give you Mining Fatigue, cause then you freak out cause you think you can't attack as fast... but i'm used to it now. so i freak out just because i'm about to get raped by a Minotaurus. (literally if this was in the MGE world. :P)

I've had this bug as well. Hitting an anubis with a lightning wand from thaumcraft 3 resulted in a server crash that could only be recovered by restarting the server without GoG to force the despawn of the mob. I imagine it must have something to do with the skeleton he was spawning? I really hope this bug can be tracked down.

Thanks for posting this. The bug is mainly caused by mobs which spawn other mobs. My current suggestion is to set the game to Peaceful to remove the mob and set it back to the desired difficulty.

When Minecraft 1.5 is released. I am not really much a multi-tasker and when I get into doing something I tend to focus solely on it. The main reason I have not updated that much is because if I ended up doing so I will most likely not be able to do anything else except update this mod and play Minecraft everyday .
I've had this bug as well. Hitting an anubis with a lightning wand from thaumcraft 3 resulted in a server crash that could only be recovered by restarting the server without GoG to force the despawn of the mob. I imagine it must have something to do with the skeleton he was spawning? I really hope this bug can be tracked down.
I might simply remove mobs spawing other mobs in the future similar to what I did with the Bone Knight and Flesh Lich. They tend to become useless and clutter the map especially when you fight the mobs during the day.

I miss the Golem you had from GoG1 o.o The one that spawned in the Jungles... o.o Maybe you can bring her back as a play construct creature (like the Iron Golem and Snow Golem)?
I might make them drop Quartz, mostly because it is a common ore and is valuable at the same time.
I will make a new model for it. I avoid doing recolors and modeling a new one makes it more of a challenge to do .
I think you may be referring to Garm. I do plan to make the wolf made out of ice, being pointy and all.

Speaking of updates yes I have taken a few hours to update the models a textures a bit. I have remodeled a few mobs (Currently Yuki-Onna and Dullahan). Seems like 1.5 will be introducing new AI/code as well so I will not be coding anything until 1.5 has been officially released. Based on most of the suggestions posted in this thread so far, there is going to be a ton of changes.

true. they're also a huge pain. it's also disorienting that they give you Mining Fatigue, cause then you freak out cause you think you can't attack as fast... but i'm used to it now. so i freak out just because i'm about to get raped by a Minotaurus. (literally if this was in the MGE world. :P)

I am not good at English, so ...
I've had this bug as well. Hitting an anubis with a lightning wand from thaumcraft 3 resulted in a server crash that could only be recovered by restarting the server without GoG to force the despawn of the mob. I imagine it must have something to do with the skeleton he was spawning? I really hope this bug can be tracked down.
Thanks for posting this. The bug is mainly caused by mobs which spawn other mobs. My current suggestion is to set the game to Peaceful to remove the mob and set it back to the desired difficulty.
When Minecraft 1.5 is released. I am not really much a multi-tasker and when I get into doing something I tend to focus solely on it. The main reason I have not updated that much is because if I ended up doing so I will most likely not be able to do anything else except update this mod and play Minecraft everyday .
I might simply remove mobs spawing other mobs in the future similar to what I did with the Bone Knight and Flesh Lich. They tend to become useless and clutter the map especially when you fight the mobs during the day.
Which is hilarious.
If only because I am a bitter, bitter man and I like to watch things burn.
