Greetings, hippo! My friend and I tried your mod, and I have to say, we both loved it! I have some suggestions on what you could do for the Mutant Skeleton model and a possible new mutant.
For the Mutant Skeleton model, I suggest you make its model taller and slender, somewhat like the Enderman. Skeletons and skeletal-like beings are often portrayed as skinny, not bulk and muscular, hence the saying towards physically weak and skinny people,"You're all skin and bones." To fit in with this, make its bow a long bow instead of a crossbow. It will also fit in with the idea behind skeletons, which is to be a long-ranged mob, for long bows shoot arrows far distances.
As for a possible new mutant, I have some suggestions for a Mutant Squid:
- Model: Give it a kraken-like appearance. By that, I mean give it a large, long body with the signature arrow-like flaps; really long tentacles, and a massive mouth that is covered with sharp teeth.
- General Characteristics: Being a MUTANT squid, it naturally would have more health, strength and speed than the average squid. Since you move slow in water, you have to rely on bows to do damage to it. However, there is a way to hit it with melee attacks, which leads me to its attacks.
- Attacks:
Sorry, I cut it short by accident. Anyways, here are the attacks:
- Tentacle Whip: This would be its standard attack. As the name suggests, the squid move one of its tentacles in a whip-like matter, causing damage and knock back if it hits.
- Constrict: The squid would use its tentacles in attempt to catch you and pull you in. If it is successful, the squid will attempt to squeeze you to death, causing damage. To get out of this, you simply strike at the squid. Maybe 2-3 hits would do it?
- I don't know what to call this one. In this one, it would again attempt to catch you with its tentacles. Although, this time, it will attempt to bring you under and drown you. To get out of this, you do the same method in escaping Constrict.
- Devour: Like the previous attacks, it will attempt to catch you. In this one, as the name suggests, it will attempt to devour you, causing damage. The damage will heal the squid. This would be its method in healing. To escape this one, you do the same as the others: you hit it.
- Ink Squirt: This would be the squids' "special" attack. It will launch a cloud of ink, which would cause blindness to anything caught in it. The squid would use this to help do a sneak attack or, like real-life squids, escape if its low on health.
Well, that is it for now. Please tell me what you think!

I think a better saying instead of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" would be, " If it isn't at its absolute best, there's no reason not to chase perfection"
The skeleton's bow is even better that my crossbow idea! I still think it's drop should be a ranged weapon whose projectiles don't slowly fall as they travel, thoughZeklo: "I've got a bone to pick with you!" or "You want a piece of me!?" (the quote button doesn't work for me.)
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but if it has i'm sorry.
1- Is there a way to disable "Chemical X" from being able to change certain mobs? 2- Is there a way to change the HP of the mutants? 3- If 1 and/or 2 are not possible, is this something that has been considered to be added in the future?
That ender hand is great idea and it very fun, but on a server its nothing but a griefing tool. it completely ignores any World Guard or any Grief Prevention rule that are set on the server.... the mobs them self act accordingly to the rule but that Ender-Hand is a rebel. I know this is a tall request, but would there be something on your end that you can add to prevent this.

Thanks for that, why didn't i think of that.... so simple.
Obviously that would be the alternative. I'm just trying to ask the mod owner a legit question, or would you rather i ask "when is the 1.5.2 update coming?" like the rest of your mates on the forum?

Now before i start off, you dont have to be rude...
There are two other options i can think of:
1. you could find a way to remove ender hands on your server.
2. you could Make them impossible to use on owned plots of land.
Neither of these need to be done by the Creator of the mod, think about it, for one thing, if he implemented either of these features, someone in a PvP griefing server far away would be angry that he couldnt use his ender hand that he got through hard work, secondly, people should be more prepared if they are gonna download a mod like this for a server, problems happen all the time with, maybe the server will crash cause the mod was installed incorrectly, or maybe that tnt mod someone installed isnt affected by plugins.
The least you can do is ask the mod creator for help in finding a way to fix the problem instead asking him to fix it for you, if you dont want to do it yourself, then the first option i mentioned is always available, or you could just ignore the problem at hand.

That's totally not OP.

I've been looking for others like it, but to no avail.
Does anyone else know of any mods that make vanilla Minecraft just a bit harder and a LOT more interesting, without going overboard?
Dont use it in servers? :l
