That might be a hard solution to keep implementing. Anytime you explore a new Tiaga, Ice Plains, or Forest biome, you will run the risk of having an evolution rock spawn in a nearby chunk, thus causing you to crash, and have to re-edit, only to have it likely happen in another 10 feet. Also, the evolution rocks are TileEntities, not blocks, though not sure if that makes a difference.
yeah, you are absolutely right but is an option for those who want to take 3 to 5 minutes of their time so they can play minecraft 1.5.2 and continue using optifine and pixelmon because optifine is more useful and i personally prefer optifine so i was going to delete pixelmon, but i thought of this solution and it worked, and is only until optifine fix the problem. Have a nice day
I've noticed that when you use a stone to evolve a Pixelmon it wont learn some of the moves it normally would. I don't think this happens in normal Pokemon. I was wondering if this is something that has not been put in yet. Or if this is how its suppose to work.

The move sets differ sometimes between pre-and post evolution forms. Mostly this happens in evolution stone cases or other induced evolutions (very notably in the eevee path). Any in particular that you noticed might be wrong? I could take a look in the mode set coding and see if something was left out, but I believe most of them match the Gen IV or Gen V move sets exactly.
Pokemon I would like to see: Absol, Marill and lvls, Seedot and lvls, Riolu and lvl, Cryogonal, and the ones that can still lvl up.
Pokemon that needs to be in but can wait: All.
Hi, I just installed the mod. How do I switch Pokemon?
The "[" and "]" keys are the default, "r" throws them out, and "o" toggles the left hand side HUD to minimal/full mode. All keybinding are able to be changed in the options menu in game.
4) Using WinRAR or similar, copy all of the files from Forge into the minecraft.jar file, and ACCEPT any prompts WinRAR gives
5) Go to your .minecraft folder and copy all the files from the Pixelmon (2.2.1).zip into the folder NOTE: Do not copy it into the /mods folder, but the main .minecraft folder, as the install has some other folders it has to install, and it has the /mods folder as part of the .zip file
6) Still in the .minecraft folder, copy all the files from the Pixelmon Resources.zip folder into your main .minecraft folder.
7) Launch the game and enjoy!
And if you have any questions on how to play the game and craft items, feel free to check out my Pixelmon Youtube series (linked in my signature), as we start from scratch and cover the basics as we go.
If you need any help with their skins, I may be able to help. I'd love to see more cave Pokémon. Just... don't expect me to script much.
Check out the forums at http://www.pixelmonm...forum/index.php and feel free to apply to help out with something. The entire mod is built on community submitted models etc.
Helluew there. I have to come to warn you about an incompatibility with Forge Modloader and Pixlemon. My friend and I have deduced that your mod has become incompatible with FML's recent update. We're not sure if thats exactly it. I don't have the modding expertise with FML as I did with ModLoader. but I am pretty sure that this is the root of the problem. Also, I have an error log that we both got.
This mod is really awesome, but some aspects don't seem to fit well
1) Capturing Pokemon are very difficult, even with Ultra balls, and the Pokemon health is extremely low, they still manage to break out of it, (I.E. Eevee Lv.11) i've managed to lose 15 Ultra Balls through this
2) The Hammer, should have more Durability than Picks, as they use 2 more Ingots/Gems
Diamond Pick Durability = 1,562
because of the two additional materials, the Diamond hammer gets (And the rest) it should respectfully get more
Diamond Durability:- 1,562 share that by 3 + 1,562 = 2,082 Durability points
2.1) usually, hammers could be like this (Wood being sticks) at lest it would make more sense in use/Durability
3) There seems to be no Icy Rocks in the Taiga Biomes
1) The capturing mechanics are almost identical to the games. They are completely identical at lower levels like the eevee you are talking about.
2) You can't compare a pick with a hammer, if they were both used to break blocks then maybe but the hammer is used for a completely different purpose therefore it's durability works in a different way
3) Look in Icy Plains/Hills rather than taiga

We can never keep up with forge. Each release we make will be compatible with the forge it was compiled against and we always list that version in our download thread but forge updates too quickly for us to keep up while also working on new features. Use the one we recommend until the next version
I follow every intruction to install but when I do it takes forever to load and when it does and i load a world, I pick a starter then it freezes and crashes, Please help
I love how this page gives detail on how to install.
That was sarcasm if you didn't pick up.
This page doesn't tell what other mods are required, where to place the mod itself (.jar, coremods or just mods?)
Please be more specific.
I tried to get my pokemon to battle a wild pokemon by throwing the pokemon at the wild one, but nothing popped up and and no battle started. Is there an updated way or something? How do i get them to battle?'
ok, so im having a lot of fun with this mod, but there is one problem:
every time i get in a fight i dont want to be in, i try to run and it's really hard to escape, but then if i do manage to escape, it says i escaped, and then immediately, it would say waiting and i would be back in the battle. if you could make it so there is a waiting time before fighting a pokemon for a second time? like maybe 30 seconds would be better.
How come the Leaf Rocks and Ice Rocks crash the game? I've had to delete two worlds because of this. I'm in version 2.2.
That would be an issue with your installed Optifine, not Pixelmon. Optifine currently doesn't have support for a new forge feature that is used to do the rendering of the icy and mossy rocks. Uninstalling optifine will fix the issue.
It has been reported to them, and they hopefully are working on a fix. If you want to *nicely* remind them of that issue in case they forgot, you can leave a comment on their thread.

Good point lol(throws all Eevee pants away cuz I'm an Eevee)

Here are the instructions (spoilered for anyone who has read them 1000 times already)
Installation is pretty simple:
1) Download a minecraft.jar file from the minecraft site
2) Download the Pixelmon (2.2.1).zip (http://adf.ly/PSqhm or http://adfoc.us/7513724589414) and Pixelmon Resoures.zip files (http://adf.ly/QFh8X or http://adfoc.us/7513724609580)
3) Download the latest version of forge (you want the UNIVERSAL* version) - http://files.minecraftforge.net/

EDIT: Never mind. Got it.
