Well whatever, to be honest- it's mostly the question on if it's worth continuing this. Not going into the details though- so that's another part that slows things way down
1: I've done my research, seems that's not quite true. many have dumped this for it's competitors in the past, and even right now (and that's before everything slowed down)
2: Being self-taught at modding itself later MC versions are highly unlikely, and things could never be perfect, meaning features in this are significantly limited.
3: 90% of all gamers are simple-minded, slow witted, and lazy(saying a few traits). so this hasn't really got much of a target audience, and those of the 90% get through and just make things annoying.
4: time to time (this is actually one of those times) it seems 1 thing doesn't work: without such, id never hear the end of the complaints.
uh.. 4 things right there. Not confirmed on stopping entirely, but slowing down yes. Theres a small handful of fans that actually like this, and it seems it should continue for their sake. However my lack of resources seem to be a handicap. as well: A smaller fanbase means it is much harder for support (things like plugins, mod support, and continuing higher MC versions)

you could get a youtuber to endorse it or I could get a youtuber to endorse it
I should probably do more to help with the documentation project -- then, I also need to do more to deal with real life, and the two aren't 100% compatible.
I think it's good that you're taking time to look everything over, because I rather wait a little for something great than not have to wait at all for something mediocre. Also I was so excited when I went to the wiki and saw all the new armors. It makes me more enthusiastic towards this mods release. Making it so you can make all the armors with any type of metal makes tiering easier so you don't have to wear something like Bronze plate all the way up til you get steel. Also the new bows made me very excited as well, and I've been substituting the bows in this mod with better archery and now you've made all the bows that it had and made them tier the way minefantasy does. I look forward to seeing all the changes upon its release.
I'll always support this mod. Its funny how so many people love Tech mods but a lot of them are even more advanced than this. Also, I also think its more of the fact that it has been 1.5 for ages instead of the picky audience, because there are more of the advanced stuff lovers than people let on. I used to think this mod was a bit confusing when I first saw it, but that changed a day later when I tried it. Hopefully once it updates its fanbase will grow again and it won't be restricted. And of course the remaining fanbase there is could find ways to further endorse this mod if the former fails. I actually know a pocket of realistic minecraft lovers that would instantly support this mod. It just needs time to work and update and it will grow again.
That is true. If you build up on the Magic part after finishing the basics, you'll probably get a bigger fanbase as well in that way.
I suspect that magic system(s) will be semi-separate child mods / expansions, but it would be nice to have one that fit the MineFantasy model, used its items, and integrated with its systems.

well, i would like to know how the popularity is calculated. if you are comparing use to downloads. or something else entirely. because if it use, well the main reason tech mods are used is because they can be thrown into mod-packs with ease. yours not so much.
Mainly because of it being "medieval" it wont fit. not because of lack of effort. Have you ever used atomic science? that mod is a long grind for materials for the higher tiers.
also with the surplus of mod-packs and servers, tech mods have become the Mario for moders.
Plus if this mod goes away, well, as you have said yourself the "90%" certainly wont make anything as great as this.
I will always endorse this mod. I and a group of friends all love realistic mods and fantasy mods. We've been eagerly awaiting this mods arrival. I also believe you would be surprised by how many people like this type of mod people just need to see the mod. Skyrim players and every Rpg/minecraft player will jump at the chance to get a mod like this. I will use the minefantasy banner from now on.

I look forward to an update. Please do your best!
