So what you're saying is this: if it detects the light level, it trips and powers neighboring blocks. If the light level changes again, it trips signalling that it no longer is that light level. Right? And then you can set the light value in the GUI. But, I could always make it more complicated, saying that if the light level turns goes from >4 to <=4, it trips, and vice versa. What do you think?
Tripping if the light level does/ doesn't match ... yes; When hooked to a Toggle Array, it opens the door for a lot of possible contraptions. Doing an exact-match setting would be useful; but if you feel like doing it, making the GUI settings as "Trip Above", "Trip Below", or "Trip At" would reduce the amount of code you have to write and give a range of settings for all purposes. "Trip Above" means if the level's at / over the Set Level, the Block trips. while "Trip Below" is the opposite. "Trip On" says when the Level = Set Level, then Trip; If it moves above/ below, trip again.
BTW, like the default texture you included; It definitely fits its purpose....

Alright, that makes sense. But should that only be when it has changed? Say that the light value is 3 and you have it set to "Trip Below 4"; should it be powered permanently or just when it changes from >4 to 3?
And thanks! I didn't draw it myself, the artist really deserves the credit. I had a rough idea what I wanted it to look like, but he actually came up with it.

I would imagine it depends on if you have it set for Flash or Constant. The "Trip" setting is for when its triggered, not for how long. I just realized an extra "Ignore Light" would mean its no longer a Light Sensor, just a normal BUD Switch. Incorporating the Light Sensor property into the existing BUD Switch means you have 1 Block which act as 2, depending on your settings...
Hope that cleared up any confusion I may have caused....

Alright, I'll start working on that later. It shouldn't take much time to complete, if I'm right. Thank you for explanations!
can you please change/improve the GUI to allow scrolling?.
I have several mods here that allow the spawning of various atmospheric creatures and the Back button is obscuring some of the names
Now that I see this is the page where comments are read....

Sounds like a good idea. That'll be in the next release, along with changing the keybinding setting and fixing a small bug.
Would you rather have a scroll bar or buttons to go to the previous/next page?
Hi.
I'd say both, if possible, aka have an option somewhere to switch between buttons or a scrollbar, it'd be a bit more work, but it'd please both audiences.
Oh and two more questions, even though i know you've been busy with the achievements API, but:
Have you taken a look at Spoutcraft and determined whether it would be possible to support multiplayer through that?
Will it ever be compatible with the MorePaintings Mod? (I know i've asked before, but i forgot what your answer was )
I haven't checked the minecraft code for the scrollbar, so I'm not sure how hard it will be to implement that. I think I'm going to try to add the scroll bar, as if it works it's more convenient.
When I port it to SMP too (which should be soon), I'm either going to use ModLoaderMP or Forge, possibly both. What would you guys prefer?
If I checked right, it is compatible with MorePaintings as of now. I need to add a scrollbar, however.
I just looked at it cause i have seen your achievement api and sorry but i thought its crap and a fake but then i saw you mods and there all amazing! Dowloading now you got a new supporter and i am looking forward to your api

It's okay. I really need a banner/something to put in my signature. Anyone willing to make me something? You will get credit of course.
Anyway, thank you! Glad to see another fan. I won't disappoint!
Been experimenting a little with the BUD Block, and using it with a RP Block Breaker, was able to create a fully automatic Cobblestone Generator. The BUD Block is positioned where the new Cobble is formed, everything set to false except "neighbor update", and linked to the Block Breaker with a bit of Red Alloy Wire. When the Cobble forms, it trips the BUD Block, which then pulses the Breaker. RP Tubes then carry the cobble into a sorting setup that stores a lot of future building projects while dumping the rest into a EE2 Energy Condenser that makes me diamonds over time.
I am!
However i wouldn't really have the time to make that until Thursday next week,
so if anyone else is able to make some banners before that, feel free to do so.
EDIT: Your mirrors do not render particles, judging from the screenshot (not tested it yet, but the fire is invisible)
When you have some spare time, perhaps you could fix that?
I just checked, and it appears that you are right! I'll look into it later, but it's not a priority at the moment. I am busy with others mods/stuff in real life.

That's awesome! Glad that it works. Video? Now, I wonder if you could make a trap out of something like that? Not sure.

Hmmm .... I've never actually done a video of anything before, even though I do have CamStudio downloaded and installed. You know, since I like this Mod enough, I'll try and do a Review for it, where I use the design I mentioned. The Energy Condenser is the most expensive aspect (no surprise there); and all the routing is handled with an Advanced Insertion Pipe from (I think) Additional BuildCraft Pipes. If the Pipe can't put something in the first inventory it comes to, it re-directs it to the next one. Namely, my Condenser.
I'll need to set the video up, make it, then deal with YouTube (long time viewer; never-time Uploader)... Let you know when its done, and post a link here....
My god man! Where did you come from all of a sudden? A whole pile of incredible Mods! My hat's off to you sir.
Well, I made some mods over the summer (Painting and Noteblock GUI), and I just recently came back to the modding scene. I decided to add... a few. Thank you!

Made the mistake of updating my CamStudio, which is now refusing to work; but I found a new program that's as easy to use and lets me pick from more format (AutoScreenRecorder 3.1 Free). Surprised how easy it was to use; Installed it, adjusted settings, and was recording in less than 10 minutes.Had family over is mainly why I didn't record any sound, that and because I want to experiment with audio recording myself to work out any playback bugs.
Here's the link.
Its Unlisted, because I don't feel its good enough quality to release on a playlist or the like; Future videos - after much practice - will be carefully sorted into Playlists at the time of upload. BTW, if you're doing YouTube videos and are NOT a Partner or the like, ... make sure you don't have to use the internet for a while; This short (5:26) video took me almost an hour to upload, and the process slowed my DSL to an arthritic crawl...
A few points: I have NEI installed, since (IMHO) the Creative Menu sucks w/o NEI's search feature. Also, I was using a texture pack, the reason my Smooth Stone work area looks very smooth, a Painterly Pack the passcode for which I will gladly share if asked. The Red Wire can be replaced with a single block of your choice; In the survival world I have this setup on, I use a cobblestone block. I also will do a later video showing how I use the new features of Buildcraft Logistics Pipes to streamline this process to introduce auto-Condensing of not just cobble but also unwanted dirt, gravel, whatever else. The setup is resource expensive; but once in place, it lets you dump into a single Sorting Chest, from which all Ores are IC2 Macerated, Furnaced, and stored, All redstone/ gems/ lapis/ etc are stored, and all excess waste blocks are dumped into my ever-hungry Energy Condenser. The Piping system will even pull finished diamonds out, except my target-diamond, and send them off to their proper place in Valuable Storage.
All of that magic ... all thanks to Chassi Pipes and Modules ...

That's ok! Just watched it, it's pretty amazing! While the video quality isn't that great, the set-up really reflects how convenient and easy it is to setup and use. Is it ok if I put the video in the first post?
Did it really? I have a small youtube channel of my own and out of the whole video creation process (capture,editing/rendering,uploading), the longest part is uploading. A 2 minute video (720p) took like 15-20 minutes to upload, which is really bad. My download speed is decent (~15), while my upload speed sucks (~2).
I'm really not that big of other mods actually. I have a separate launcher (tekkit) for one of my friend's server and that's about it. I am not familiar with the tekkit mods at all though. It just adds so much stuff. But you made it look easy!

If you want to, its okay; I'll just leave it Unlisted since its a bit small for I feel is an adequete Review video. As for the quality, I think its partly due to my 16x texture pack, and partly because I'm not use to the new software yet.
Thank you; I appreciate the compliment. However, you made a very flexible Mod that make whatever I make that much easier. I make it look easy because you did all the hard work ahead of time.

I'm going to add it right now! I think the mod really needs video reviews, as it is hard to see what the mod can do in a picture alone. And thank you! It wasn't that hard to make.
Also, updated the Toggle Sneak mod so it can also Toggle Sprint. When ToggleSprint is on, simply holding the Forward button allows you to sprint! And is combined with the ToggleSneak mod, but note that you can turn it off in the configuration file.

I'll probably do both, although most likely I will do the ModLoaderMp version first as it will be easier to port.
Anyway, I've figured out how to get it to work even with the Insane version of MorePaintings. Just need to add the scroll bar now.
Anyway, thank you! Glad to see another fan. I won't disappoint!
