2 Important thing:
- The ExtraBiomes API reached v1.0 so I will be trying to work with that so you guys can get AtmosMobs + ExtraBiomesXL and find all mobs in the new biomes Ill probably add a special mob just for that version
- I will need some testers soon. So you can apply to be a AtmosMobs tester by sending a pm to me and tell me why you want to be a tester
I advise you to suggest this at Mo Creatures or another mob mod, because giant sea monsters is actually something that would totally NOT fit in this mod. This mod is about adding mobs that add atmosphere to the game, not challenges. Sorry :/ Nice suggestion, wrong mod.
I have a suggestion though. Perhaps there cold be an Armadillo that spawns in deserts and ducks under its armor when you try to attack it. While it's rolled up, you can nudge it around by moving into it. That would be atmospheric and funny.
I like this mod a lot. It's a lot more subtle than Mo' Creatures, which is good. I'm having a problem, though. Pigs, sheep, cows, squids, chickens, ocelots, and mooshrooms won't spawn naturally. I can spawn them with a spawn egg in creative mode without a problem. I did some debugging and traced this error to AtmosMobs. I was wondering if I made an error installing it.

Besides, I had the opposite problem and ocelot's spawning is classified as monster they do not spawn in the dark though.
In fact they may spawn similarly to older mobs. I'm not shure if they despawn in the same way....

When I hear the title, it makes me wanna get this mod because it sounds like it increases the environmental side of Minecraft, but when I see the features, I don't like it.I'd like to see a version where the mobs doesn't drop anything, and can push you off anything. I want them just for the looks.

Instead of "[Fish]" as a live fish and "Dead [Fish]" as a dead fish, I would suggest "Live [Fish]" as a live fish and "[Fish]" as a dead fish. Example: Live Blowfish, Blowfish, Live Piranha, Piranha, etc.
The reasoning behind this is that the "Live [Fish]" is a more desirable and unusual state and thus should be specifically mentioned as such, while the normal scenario of having a dead fish (now that it's been changed to use a net) is the common occurrence and thus should be identified routinely as a "Fish" instead of specifically as a "Dead [Fish]". It might be acceptable to name it "Raw [Fish]", however, for consistency with Minecraft's default "Raw Fish" and "Cooked Fish".
Compare:
A mod adds an enchanted sword. It renames the iron sword of the game to "Unenchanted Iron Sword", and then the enchanted sword is called the "Iron Sword". The preferable alternative would be to retain the "Iron Sword" as the unenchanted version and then name the special enchanted version as "Magic Sword".
No one calls a normal sword an unenchanted sword, just as no one calls a salmon in the fish market a dead salmon.

I had a Few Ideas and Tweaks for the Mod, This would both make the Mod better and OCD friendly:
1) Toggle the Ability to Tame each Mob
2) When you catch Fish you get Raw <Fish Type> and When you Cook it Cooked <Fish Type>. You only get Alive <Fish Type> from a Net.
3) Toggle each Mob or if its already Included a Tutorial in the Topic due to it isent changed like Most mods as it Seems.
4) Toggle the Bird Cage.
5) Toggle the Bird Sitting Stick.
6) Toggle the Scare Crow.
7) Nets being the Only way to Tame fish, Nets can catch fish in any Circumstance, Nets put the Alive Version IN your inventory.
8) Turn Bird Cage into a Block.
9) Turn Bird Sitting Stick into a Block.
10) Turn Scare Crow into a Block. (I know this one is impossible but one can Dream).
11) Make the Bird Cage Right click Have a GUI that allows it to Open and Close.
12) Bird Cage, Bird Sitting Stick and Scare Crow should beable to be Picked up by Breaking Them.
13) Ability to Toggle Moths/Butterflies landing on Lights/Flowers (This wouldent Toggle Landing).
14) Ability to Toggle Moths/Butterflies landing (This would turn off 13 as Well).
15) To catch a Fish you Require a Filled Fish Bowl or it will Sufficate in your Inventory after 15 Seconds and turn into Raw Fish.
16) Fish Bowl, Filled Fish Bowl. Crafting a Fish Bowl is like Crafting a Bowl except with Glass Panes. Filled Fish Bowls are Made with a Water Bucket and Fish Bowl. Fish Bowls are Blocks.
17) Fish Bowls names do no Change while a Fish is inside only the Sprite Does.
18) You can Place Fish Bowls and the Fish will Swim around in it (Just an Animation).
19) Pirannas need to be More Agressive they are too Docile.
20) While Fishing you need to Beable to catch Pirannas, McFish and Blow Fish.
21) Settable Spawn Rates.
22) Less Intrusive Spawning, As of Currently this makes normal Mobs harder to Find.
23) Add Common Bird.
24) Add Birds flying to and Eating Seeds you Throw.
25) Add Insect Parts which if Eaten give Nausea and Food Poisoning, Also if put into a Crafting Table gives Slime Balls.
26) Add Ability to Toggle Insect Parts crafting into Slime Balls.
27) Alternative Texture for Scare Crow. (Ill make one for you if you so Desire, Im a great Spriter).
28) Cooked Frog legs, This would be Nice but not Required.
29) Add Aquarium Block which is 1x1 but you can place more next to eachother to Extend.
30) Toggle Aquarium Block.
31) Right Clicking Living Fish on Water would Release them into the Water (Also an Alternate Aquarium Feature).

36) Toggle Tamed Parrots Landing on you.
37) Tamed Parrots will Squawk when a Mob is within 10 blocks of you (Cannot XRay Detect)
What i would do if all these Features were on:
1) Turn off Moths/Butterflies Landing on Lights/Flowers.
2) Turn on Taming for Piranha, Mouse, Frog, Butterfly, Blow Fish, Minecraft Fish, Parrot, Common Bird.
3) Use Alternative Sprite for Scare Crow.

Ocean Expansion-Coral reefs,other Ocean stuff,Other Fishes like the clown fish.
That's all though,i wanted to see ocean Stuff in minecraft...
