Did you try force-updating Minecraft again? What crash report do you get after doing that?
(Sorry, was asleep.)
Despite being certain that I already tried this, I tried again. Twice. To no avail, either time. Still the same thing happens.
Crash report, as you asked:

Hmmmmm, I wonder if you're somehow modifying the minecraft.jar in the wrong .minecraft folder. Do you have a .minecraft folder in both your %AppData% folder and %AppData%\Roaming ? Your (Magic Launcher) Minecraft seems to be running from %AppData%\Roaming\.minecraft, but if you're force-updating and cleaning out the mods folder in %AppData%\.minecraft, then it would be missing the changes. (Kinda grabbing at straws here... )

No, no extra minecrafts... I tried installing it manually again, with a clean Minecraft, of course, and... Well, it's a different result, at least. Now instead of Minecraft treating the mod as if it weren't there, it crashes when I open the world.

That's the error message you'd get if you installed the ModLoader files into minecraft.jar after you installed the Gulliver files. Gulliver should be installed last, since it changes some of the same files as ModLoader.

That was a little dumb on my part, I knew that was going to be a problem. I only installed it that way that particular time.
It had given me errors until then (The one below, to be particular. I know with absolute certanty that I installed it right this time.) when running the world, and I assumed it was the same one as it was giving me before. My bad.

I'm not sure why you'd be getting that error if you manually installed ModLoader to a clean minecraft.jar and then manually installed Gulliver to the jar afterwards (removing META_INF of course), unless you somehow missed some of the Gulliver files when you copied them over...

Okay, looks like it's not finding and loading other mods besides ModLoader and Gulliver, hmm...
Maybe try redownloading the Gulliver zip file? Just in case it got corrupted or partially overwritten.
hey im here to report a bug in the mod
what happened is i was playing on a server with someone riding me then i rode them and we got stuck in place until one of us stopped riding the other not sure if this is a bug or not but just thought i would tell you

Geh... Yeah, that's a bug I'll have to prevent that kind of rider looping from happening, somehow.
ok well good luck and i cant wait to see this mod get better and better
Actually, how about you make it that you can ride stacked, but the more players/mobs(mobs maybe riding on you in some future update) riding you, the heavier the base entity gets, the slower the base player gets. How is that for a solution? BTW, I was the top. Yay!
Sounds pretty common. Another great mod (I've been following) was also stolen... Or at least it had its own website, but the modder didn't make it.
Mion should put that down. This disrespect of others work.
Yeah, it was stolen (again), but unfortunately I have to sleep sometime Reported it.

I'm solving the looping problem differently, but that could be fun too

(Sorry, was asleep.)
Despite being certain that I already tried this, I tried again. Twice. To no avail, either time. Still the same thing happens.

--- END ERROR REPORT 167fcc07 ----------
That's the error message you'd get if you installed the ModLoader files into minecraft.jar after you installed the Gulliver files.
My bad.
Minecraft has crashed!

That's the error report I MEANT to send.
Hmm, but both of those error reports have the same error trace:
Which set of instructions are you following exactly?
I then installed Gulliver into it, all files accounted for... And it then crashes when I open a world. :c
I'm feeling pretty stumped Hmm... what does your .minecraft\ModLoader.txt file say?

I've never looked at this file, so I don't know what it really means.
Okay, looks like it's not finding and loading other mods besides ModLoader and Gulliver, hmm...
Maybe try redownloading the Gulliver zip file? Just in case it got corrupted or partially overwritten.
Yay Have fun.
what happened is i was playing on a server with someone riding me then i rode them and we got stuck in place until one of us stopped riding the other not sure if this is a bug or not but just thought i would tell you
that was me on your back!
wanna play with me? give me a pm
Geh... Yeah, that's a bug I'll have to prevent that kind of rider looping from happening, somehow.
wanna play with me? give me a pm
Actually, how about you make it that you can ride stacked, but the more players/mobs(mobs maybe riding on you in some future update) riding you, the heavier the base entity gets, the slower the base player gets. How is that for a solution? BTW, I was the top. Yay!
Yeah, it was stolen (again), but unfortunately I have to sleep sometime Reported it.
I'm solving the looping problem differently, but that could be fun too
you werent top keegwi was well im happy if it gets fixed it means more progress to a full mod release!
