I'm still getting special tree leaf decay with version 3.3.0. I don't have any other mods installed besides mo creatures.
(I've also started working on XL textures, as you can tell )

(Regarding being good at what we do...I inadvertently put in a line of code in the wrong block when fixing the slab lighting issues...so if being good means quickly deleting one line of code that I put in the absolute wrong spot...then, yeah, I'm good at doing that)
Lol Scott. We all make mistakes sometimes. Also I think the issue with the leaves is a vanilla one*; if the leaf blocks spawn to far away from a tree block they will decay as if the tree was cut down.
*I noticed this with jungle tree leaves some time ago before I began using mods again.

Isolated it to some incompatibility with Railcraft 6.7.0.0. Occurs when Railcraft is installed after ExtraBiomes, but not vise-verse. I'm using MagicLaucher 1.0.0 to manage mods. Just thought I'd give a heads up in the event there's something useful in there.

But i HATE snow biomes. Is this intended?

Not sure what to make of all this as I cant get Ruins to spawn on any additional extrabiome, only the old vanilla ones.

Hello i have a question, this mod need generate new world or only chunk ? Because i use Tale of Kingdoms mod and after creating new world with this 2 mods i cant get castle from ToK, but also i dont want to lose extra looking biomes.

Minecraft causes this, not extrabiomes. Also...you can disable the snow biomes.

After updating to 1.4.2 with the reccomended version, all my tree logs and saplings dissapeared, the leaves are still in the game, but the logs and saplings arent even available in NEI. The leaves, remaining bit of my bunyan trees drop vanilla oak saplings as well. Have I installed something wrong or is this know bug?
More unfortunate leaf decay. I started a new world to see if it was just an issue with saves created on the old version, but nope, as soon as a block updates near the trees this happens:

Yeah, seems to only happen when blocks are updated near trees, if blocks are not updated near them the leaves don't decay, but as soon as a single block near the trees are updated... and this seems to affect vanilla trees as well, the leaves on them decay to a certain point. Leaves on Vanilla trees disappear/decay to a certain % and then stop. I've noted this on rubber trees from IC2 as well and if this is happening without treecapitator installed it has to be something else. Wonder if this issue can happen outside of the mod, basically wondering if it happens in vanilla MC.
Ok so the minecraft wiki says it only takes modloader but the forum post says forge. obviously one of them is out of date...any one wanna clearify for me please? ^^;

Ruins has always worked for me.
Delete the extrabiomes folder from the railcraft mod archive.
Please follow the installation instructions. Do not unzip the mod into a folder.

I can confirm I see this issue as well, though I haven't tested it without treecapitator uninstalled.
I've never seen it happen with EBXL. I've only had it happen with Forgotten Nature, but it was several months ago.
Did you place the .jar file in the mods folder without making any changes? Are you using forge 349?
