As the name would suggest, modloader must load first. You must be using a conflicting mod or wrong versions or just left the meta-inf intact.
Except earlier in the thread he stated that modloader shoud load after.
And as I stated, if modloader is installed first, then any mods using Modloader's API to add new worldtypes will cause the game to crash. It is NOT compatible with modloader. Plain and simple. I tested using the latest version of both mods. As for meta-inf, no, I don't make beginner's mistakes like that. The game loaded fine, with only modloader and BWG, but world generation is broken if modloader is loaded after.
I use magic launcher and modloader loads first, BWG after, and I have no problems at all. Magic Launcher does state that it has some error (for BWG) but it loads without any errors, and all kinds of maps work (that is... without my creeper mod )

Yes, it works fine that way, but breaks modloader's API for worldgen, causing other worldgen mods that use modloader to crash. I also use MagicLauncher,
Hmm.... I see the problem I enable it only for when I play on one of its maps since it changes the default and large biome generations, and never noticed it doesn't work with the other generators.
Can't wait for the official API then we wouldn't have 36 kinds of 'em floating around...
If you're using more than one mods that is altering world generation it won't work obviously. You can't just merge different worldgen mods together.
As for your original statement, it is still false, I'm using modloader 1.3.1 and BWG3 for 1.3.1 in that order and have no problem whatsoever.
My original statement is still true. BWG then Modloader, can't create a world. Modloader then BWG, can't used worldgens added WITH modloader. I'm not trying to merge worldgens, I just want compatibility. Modloader allows modders to add new worldgens without any conflicts, but this mod doesn't use modloader, so it breaks that function of modloader. READ. I'm tired of repeating myself.
This mod isn't compatible with http://www.minecraft...man-ghast-nerf/ , I like it cause while creepers don't damage the terrain, they still damage me, and TNT remains unchanged... would there be an easy fix?
Tried this mod, Its great for Sky Dimension, Skyland Survival, And Island Survival. But The Default and Large Biomes was very Cubey. Mountains were just giant boxes rather than sloped, etc. Also there would be Desert biomes with trees growing in the middle of them, and sheer drop offs as if two different world gens were at work. I only had this mod, and Mod Loader when trying it out. not sure if it was just for me or if others have found these issues.
perhaps i missed some parts of the thread but is it normal that i cant find any tundra/taiga biome with the ''default'' world generation ? I ve been flying over my world 15 min couldnt find a inch of snow...
Love this mod, makes generation a lot smoother and makes beta-generation possible. Would it be possible to have beta/alpha gen, with newer features added? For example, jungles, mineshafts, strongholds, etc. Most important would be the stronghold and mineshafts, as they contain things found nowhere else.

At quick glance, they both replace uo.class (and possible others?) .. shame because, I'd like both BWG3 and anti-grief mod to work together.
Failed to mention I used the 1.3.1 version.
jub... I'd second that... no snow here either
(sorry for my english im english)
If you noticed I said "pre 1.8" meaning before 1.8 was released. (1.3 - 1.7.3)
