Could we get the old noise-based biome generator, so we no long have jungles bordering with tundras? Also, could you make the old lake generator optional, and make rivers stop drying out suddenly?
it should be compatible, are you using minecraft 1.2.4?
No, I'm on 1.2.5. Just quadruple-checked.
Here's what I did.
1. Downloaded the folder containing the mod
2. Opened up the bin folder
3. Compressed minecraft.jar into a zip file and opened it (which turned it into a folder containing all those .jars and folders.)
4. Renamed the folder from "minecraft" to "minecraft.jar", and my computer specifically told me it was reformatting the folder to .jar
5. Put the old minecraft.jar in the trash
6. Copypasta'd all the mod files into the new minecraft.jar folder. Replaced all files that had the same name.
7. Deleted the META-INF folder.
I can open minecraft, but once I hit "Create World", the game blackscreens, but does not give me an error report.
Btw, I even installed Modloader. However that time, the minecraft program wouldn't go past the MOJANG screen.

i'll send you a minecraft.jar with the mod included.

Nope. Stuck on the MOJANG screen. I checked if there was a META-INF and there wasn't, so it's not that. I even reformatted the folder back into a .zip.jar (which makes look like the regular .jar) and that didn't work.
1. Go to Library / Application Support / Minecraft
2. Open the "bin" folder.
3. Right click the minecraft.jar, hover over "Open With" and select "Archive Utility".
4. Delete the "minecraft.jar" and add ".jar" to the minecraft folder you end up with.
5. Unzip the "BWG_CLIENT_108.zip" you downloaded, make sure it says client.
6. Open the "BWG_CLIENT_108" folder.
7. Cmd + A to select all the files and pull them into the minecraft.jar folder.
8. Check the "Apply to all" box and click replace
9. Look for the "META-INF" folder in the minecraft.jar folder and delete it.
10. Play.
That's how I got it working on my mac.
Tried that. Still blacks out at world creation/loading. I have 10.5.8 and java se 6
EDIT: I uninstalled Minecraft and redownloaded it. Now it works. Sorry for the trouble.
There is no good or evil, only power, and those too weak to seek it. -The Dark Lord
works fine for me.
