Does it happen without the mod? The crash doesn't mention HEE anywhere.
It seems stable without the mod...ive been trying to figure out what mods i have in common with the other similar crashes to see if they may be the culprit, but so far no crashing without HEE. I'm going to go to the end without HEE to try and replicate it.
EDIT: I went to the end, faught the enderdragon, no crashes. is there anyway for it to have something to do with HEE or a combination of mods with HEE?
Hey Chylex, keep up the goodawesome work! This is still my favorite mod by far.
While testing out my own french translation (Yeah, I know that I made it some time ago, but I usually prefer playing in english), I noticed a problem with apostrophes (just look at the screenshot). Can you fix that or should I remove them from the translation? I'm also going to start updating it during next week.
I also got a question/suggestion for you: Would it be possible for the music discs to actually support all the songs in the "HardcoreEnderExpansionMusic" folder? I don't know much about coding but I do know how minecraft works and I got a few ideas of how that could be made. So I think that this would be a possible thing to do without having too much problems when adding/removing/changing names of songs.

Well, then it probably doesn't happen due to HEE. The crash doesn't mention it.

I'll take a look at the translation system, it's something with the file export. The custom music in HardcoreEnderExpansionMusic will probably no longer work in 1.7 unfortunately, the entire new sound system is kinda non-flexible when it comes to dynamically loaded sounds, and my patience with it ran out long time ago so no user music, just the preinstalled one (unless you modify the actual jar file).
1.5 release version is behind the corner!
I've nearly finished the final 1.5 update, which will include some new mechanics, some new deadly stuff, redesigning as well as some bugfixes for some bugs of the 1.5 beta version. I still need to fix the music, add everything to the Ender Compendium and do random little bits of things.
If you have been playing with the beta version, you will most likely not be able to load that world in final 1.5 release, it is a Forge bug which I cannot control and I don't know when it will get fixed. If you don't care about that world, then it'll all work fine. Well, you've been warned, don't come to me if loading the world causes Minecraft to crash, because I can't do anything ;).
From the few I saw, this is a great mod!
However I got some crash issues with the 1.5 (-for MC 1.7.2) beta:
The first one that happened when I was exploring:
-- crash report --
and the second one:
-- crash report --
not sure if it is due to an incompatibility with the other mods (Mo'creatures; Archimede's ships) or something with the mod itself.
1st crash - update Forge
2nd crash - got any details on how that happened, or was it just random?
I got rid of the previous bug. but now I have just two slight problems. one; the ender compendium stuff is REALLY hard to unlock. I wander through the endless expanse of the end, with paper, and I don't even get the knowledge about ender blobs?
problem two; could you make a sub-version of 1.5 for 1.6.4? please? I would love to see the new features, but I am playing with other mods that are vital that are still on 1.6.4 too. about twenty six of them.
Well I just downloaded this and decided to try out a few instability orbs.
After the 5th one popped this crash happened:
-- crash report --
I am using the 1.6.4 version.
I'll take a look and see if I can replicate it. I'm worried that I won't be able to, I have dropped literally hundreds of instability orbs whilst testing and never had a problem, so it might be some modded item that's causing the problems.

Ender blobs don't have any way of unlocking fragments, some fragments can only be unlocked by finding them in chests or by interacting with specific parts of them (the blobs don't have any though, but several other fragments can be unlocked by interacting with things that are some sort of connection between).
As for 1.5 for 1.6.4, there will be one once the 1.5 comes out of beta.
I'll take a look and see if I can replicate it. I'm worried that I won't be able to, I have dropped literally hundreds of instability orbs whilst testing and never had a problem, so it might be some modded item that's causing the problems.
When I logged back into the world it had spawned an ingot from the twilight forest mod, if that helps.
It shouldn't be too hard to fix. If it crashes when dropping modded items just make it only drop vanilla items?

That would be the cheat fix though.
It seems to have crashed because some mod added a funny recipe that HEE couldn't process. It shouldn't happen in 1.5-BETA (but that one's for 1.7.2).
or perhaps there was a crafting recipie included in both mods.
Actually, it could be a biome, which uses block IDs above 127. Then it overflows to negative numbers. I'll look into it for the next update (the bug should only happen in 1.6.4).
Did you install 1.7 version of the mod and open a 1.6.4 world in it? If so, then you should have probably read the warnings... If not, your world might be broken. I need logs, otherwise I can't help. I'll see if I can replicate that.
The only fix for this I've found so far is to make a new world. And on a side note, when I read the Ender Compendium in SMP, I get kicked from the server with the following error: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: The received string length is longer than the maximum allowed (22 > 20)
Oh I Fixed It Cause I Didn't Like My World Anyways.
In the configs, what exactly does the "Overpowered mobs" do? Does it give every mob more health and make them do more damage or does it only apply to mobs added by HEE?

It gives HEE mobs more health/speed/strength/abilities/some or all of the listed.
Ill take that as a no.
No worries. It might be better having an empty end anyway. I could make an efficient enderman farm.
https://twitter.com/chylexMC/status/449303978246176768 I've answered that question so many times I just didn't feel like answering again. I don't expect people going 5 pages back to find an answer for their question, but going couple posts back wouldn't hurt anybody; I literally made that post yesterday.
