So I've been playing around with this and trying to add texture pack support, and I have a lot of questions!
+ Some of the blocks are definitely not showing up in TooManyItems, what do? I want to test them out to see how to texture them. H and L blocks, the straw stuff, anchor thing, cracked/mossy pillars, and the gold/lapis striped blocks.
+ is that a pumpkin bomb???
+ What's the deal with concrete? Looks to me like it has holes along the sides, but it doesn't render the block behind it.
+ is there a smarter way of adding texture pack support than cracking open your mod and replacing the file? I couldn't find any info, but I can look harder.
This is where I am at, and I wanna test it out;
(eldpack's bricks are already large so I made small ones as an alternate)
This stuff sure levels you up in copypaste tricks!
Bug: wood panels do show in inventory; beams do not.
and one suggestion
if you make the "corner" block for these "vertical" version of the others instead, it's possible to make the same multitude of patterns on a wall as you can do with them on a floor right now. I might steal those for a wool block idea.
Not all the textures have their own blocks yet. Nice job with the textures though, and great pics.
Would you mind pasting the contents of the config file for me?
There's also a IDresolver mod you might be interested in, although it has one additional dependency.
Which config file? There's a lot of them. o.o
Also I tried IDresolver but only got as far as installing the GUI mod before things went to hell. It killed Minecraft and took me a couple days to figure out and fix; I ended up having to completely wipe the .minecraft folder (except for my saves) and start over. If I can install it without it making that mess again, I'll look into it. @.@;
It's amazing how 2 or more people can have the same idea w/o knowing it. In 1.1 I had a idea for changing the sandstone to be more like the gray stone brick so I made my own. Now I found this mod just today and it more likely that it's been around for longer than mincraft 1.1 or even 1.0 I don't know. And her I find the sandstone bricks I actually wanted. And it's looks far better than I could ever get it..
The ones on the left are the sand stone bricks that come with this mod and the washed out flat looking ones on the right is my attempt.
Oh man, so like, I really really want to play with these blocks, but it doesn't play nice with the Infi mods or Pams mods (and they don't play nice with each other *FROWN*)
Working on getting the IDResolver to work but it doesn't seem to like my ****. :|

Forever both a Chrono Trigger fan and a brony.

This mod isn't half bad, though the lack of config file to reassign IDs makes it too impractical to use with any large mods that might conflict with it.
He can't do so until Forge updates. In the mean time, try and be patient. Do like I do in the future; don't update Minecraft until all the mods you use has been updated. My fun with the new vanilla features might be delayed, but I think it's worth it.

It's better to ask a stupid question than not knowing the answer.
Thanks
