Really I just can't get this mod to install without a black screen. I'm using the lastest versions of Modloader,ModloaderMP,and Minecraft Forge. I've deleted my whole minecraft folder and ran the minecraft launcher.First I installed Modloader,ModloaderMP,Minecraft Forge,ChickenCore(the lastest version)and then NEI.I've installed lots of mods before this is the first mod of yours i've installed though.I'm really getting frustrated and some help would be nice. BTW I have a Modloader.txt file that shows an error I could upload somewhere if it would help.

That error report says you still don't have codechickencore installed. Are you sure you're downloading the right archive, and are you putting it in your /mods folder?
Ive got modloader, modloadermp, forge, minecart compat., chickencore and chickenloader all installed in the jar. I don't have a clue what ot do with the .csv file can't find any information on it. I have a bunch of other mods to use but need to know what to do first.

Start over, read the threads, and follow instructions.
Might not want to bother with chickenloader. That's.. yeah, just probably best for you to not bother with it. Or anything else. That would probably be for the best as well.

Try AMCO.
Thanks for nothing, I have everything running but just wanted to know what to do with the .csv file.

Ah, running 1.0 still? My bad. Btw, core doesn't go in the jar. And if you have loader, none of it has to go in the jar. So you might be able to see where I was coming from.
Still, I learned how to use the csv from reading this thread. You would benefit from doing the same. So, you're welcome for everything.
So I am a little confused as to how I can install this mod on 1.1 without putting things in the jar. In 1.0 I used codechickenloader, but that appears to be out of date. I am not sure if core and NEI must be placed in the jar or not, as other posts suggest otherwise. So... if loader is indeed outdated, must I put everything in the jar?
Edit: I ask this because it is way easier to update, obviously, if mods can be installed to the mods folder. As of right now, I am putting core in the mods folder, and NEI in the jar.
NEI says it requires Chicken Bones Core 0.3.0 but all you offer is 0.4.1.
When I get 0.4.1 I get black screen with no log. Am I getting the wrong core or what?
You should color code the versions for easier navigation.
Lulz color coding.
And for future reference, when something says it "requires OtherMod x.x.x" it's safe to assume that's a minimum level whether there's an "or higher" attached to it or not (provided you maintain Minecraft version compatibility, obviously a mod for 1.1 won't work with 1.0). Higher versions of OtherMod will work as well.

NEI needs to go in the jar. Core and EnderChest can go in /mods.
I reinstalled everything, when I had the ccc and ccl files in the jar everything worked including running NEI from the mods folder. Now I have ccl in the jar file and ccc in the mods folder I get this error, without installing the plugin yet. It also crashed with the plugin. Also Nei is installed in the jar.

nvm figured it out, had the plugin in my mods folder, and don't have red power yet.
To install this you need modloader, modloadermp, chicken bones core, and not enough items. (If you want to install that mod).
You just drag all the stuff to the minecraft jar.
found out if you put the chicken bones loader in the jar after ml and mlmp, you cna put everything else including nei in the mod folder. ALso install minecart compatabilty layer in the jar if you are going to use railcraft.

Well duh. I was wondering what he needs that hasn't been put in yet.
You can...? As long as you are an OP, you should be able to use it, it says so in the original post.
Even if you aren't, the recipe and usage modes are still incredibly useful.
