IM NOT BLUE XEPHOS I ACCIDENTLY NAMED MY SELF CLOSE... I DIDENT KNOW XEPHOS EXISTED UNTIL LATER IN MY ACCOUNT (i honestly dident know some one with 2 letters off from me existed when i started my account.).
I don't like items added only for griefing potential.
It's not hard to make a Ghast Spawning area in the Nether. You need a lot of explosives, but it's possible.
Ghasts spawn on the ground, despite flying, after all.
The creeper was an example, and it is not greifing if it is your own house and someone is trying to break in. Also updated my post in response to another player about how certian creatures could be immune to the crucible in such ways that make sense, like creepers are plants and as such don't have souls to capture. Ghasts are too large to fit in the crucible. Silverfish are too small and can squeeze into the vis tube themselves causing bad things to happen.

can you make a portable void network thing that wen rightclicked opens a void interface, it should not be a chest itself.
becous i am always getting my inventory full of crystalls and artefacts.
That's a tad bit overpowered, no?
Allowing someone to access the entire network of chests remotely is even more powerful then EE's Alchemical Bags.

The Crucible sucks the life out of things... So the size of the mob seems irrelevant.
However, mobs that can damage the environment should be immune if it is added. 'Too hostile and dangerous to begin with to try and replicate with magic.' (Creepers, Endermen, Ghasts, Silverfish.)
Well, that's been my order of operations for about a year now, no issues yet! I tried it with buildcraft, BTW (when it was using forge), IC, IC2, and a load of other mods that no one cares about anymore. The ONLY issue I'd had with TMI was with TC, when some items were un-spawnable, and with TC2 (strange that I can spawn special effects...?) Now I use NEI, and the problems cleared up. But the order still works.
NEI works when installed after Forge, which is nice. I'll be switching over on my next major mod-install.
TMI had quite a few patches that conflicted with Forge- if installed after it. You may have missed them, but they've existed.
On that note- NEI is far better then TMI for TC2. There is so many 'junk' items you shouldn't have access to, and might even ruin your world.
I remembered, void interface that spawn in world creation should be on a special Network that doesnt allow conection between other void interfaces of the same network. Also this network can not be accessed by players.

That is the catch about this crucible if it where added. Only 1 creature at a time could be captured, and that creature would have to be in/on top of the crucible for 10-15 minecraft days(the crucible would keep it from despawning). Actually now that i think of it, I would be fine with ghasts being able to be captured, since to do that you would first have to get it to fly into a holding pen that keeps the ghast above in the crucible. If you can do that, you deserve that ghast(as soon as it finishes having it soul captured in 10-15 minecraft days.) Endermen, I will agree with, just because not enough servers use endermen nerfs.
Btw, what do I need to research to get the
Goggles of Revealing
I have been trying for a while now and it is starting to feel like I am not getting anywhere.

Suggestion:
thaumic generator (concentrated evil);
this thaumic generator would be capable of producing vis from the various power types instead of creating power from vis. there would be some loss in the conversion process (~50%). this would also allow people with massive amounts of vis to transmit the vis over extremely long distances.
side note: about the thaumic bees, i have been meaning to look into making them, but i got swamped with school work. (3 hours to make a fully detailed 120 page powerpoint, ect, ect...) (it was my idea though)

IC2 nuke the hell out of the Nether. Make a small box with the Crucible. Make small platform above Crucible. Box it in. Make the roof of the box out of Half Slabs.

I haven't seen this addressed, though admittedly, I miss pages. Is there any way you can get the brain-in-a-jar recipe to give back my buckets as regular minecraft recipes do? It gets rather more expensive than I like having to make new buckets all the time. It uses up a lot of iron.
Also, for whatever reason I still cannot infuse a thaumic enchanter. I have the recipe, I have the materials. I put the stuff in the infuser according to the recipe. I have my infuser hooked up to a condenser, and can infuse other stuff. But with the enchanter recipe nothing happens. I've tried moving things around, but it doesn't make any difference. No one answered this question earlier. I'd really like to know what's up with this. (At least, I don't think it was answered. I have tried to follow through reading pages after I asked and didn't see the matter addressed.)

Grats, automatic Crucible for Ghasts.
Really that easy? I thought ghasts did not need to spawn on solid ground. Well if that is the case then yeah Ghasts are too big to fit in the crucible is my stance.

This is assuming everything I've been learning about Vanilla MC is correct. I -believe- it is.

Azanor basically said it's intended. 'Knowledge comes as a cost.' or something.
but cant we make vis out of sunlight? even if it is in the form of plants.
Not anywhere near the speed of IC2/RP2. IC2's greatest flaw, IMO, is the Mass Fabricator. Sunlight->Almost anything.
Add in reverse conversions for EU/Blutricity to Vis and you've got the TC2 Mass Fabricator using the Duplicator. At that point SMP would be pointless, as people would just spam Solar Panels, from both mods, and get free Vis from nothing.
It's one thing to grow plants over time, and make them into Vis. It's another to go 'Panel' and get unlimited, free Vis.
The story behind TC2 is really hard to figure out. Kind of hoping he adds a type of TC2 Stronghold that only spawns once in a map (a distance away from Spawn, and not where normal Strongholds are.) that has lots of books, and history of who left the artifacts behind, and what happened to them in the end.

Yes but that also creates taint, unless you are talking about the plants that can't be grown by the player like silver wood trees, in which case it is free because it is a limited recourse.

a lot of items in this mod seems like it is all about "vis is good, taint is bad"
what if i want to taint my world to hell and make minecraft super hard? you have items that turn other items into pure vis, i want items tthat turn other items into pure taint. i want to bomb minecraft to hell, than try to restore it a bit at a time. please, think of the intentional tainters

well what about 1% conversion into vis with 5% into taint, and the rest goes to the king Azanor?
Then I build 100 solar panels, and a bunch of filters and never think of it again.
Also, not sure if this has been mentioned, but can the crucible of eyes and above be changed to not output a redstone signal downward, since that messes with the arcane furnace.

Too overpowered if implemented in any way, shape, or form.

Never Prevent people from getting everything.
And, technically, TC2 has a ton of story already added. It's just hard to see without looking hard.
