I found that the file is not in the config folder at the same level of the server but the folder level above. That's why I couldn't find it before since it isn't in the same place as the modloadermp config stuff like it is on the client side. I thought it was working but then after a while I got that BSOD again and once it happens I can't join again. I'm trying to figure out where I should look to troubleshoot. The server seems to keep running, so I'm not sure if it is a server side problem or client side. I really wish there were some type of error report that I could look at to work with. I do have a question about the control files, they start off with the General Instructions paragraph and then have the rates and ID's. Every time it is run the General Instructions paragraph is copied again below the ID's. Is there a purpose for that? I guess for now I will try to start from scratch again. I should only need to start from scratch with the .jar files right? Or is there anything else I may need to replace? (I start a new map each time)
No, the general instructions paragraph shouldn't be copying itself over and over, so that is a bug. It shouldn't effect the performance of the mod. You should only need to start with scratch with the jarfiles, that's correct. I honestly don't know what your issue is, and I don't know whether it is client side or server side.
If you can't get it to work starting fresh, then let me know and I'll PM you the IP of my personal server which runs Treasure Mobs just fine and we'll see if it's a client error or a server error.
When thinking about Magma Cubes and how they give you nothing, I thought of a new treasure mob last night. Fire slime/ cubes. No, not the other name. I mean, Slimes that are firey colored and drop fire (for chainmail, burning stuff, and setting off TNT). Sure, this would be pretty griefer friendly, but if there's no fire spread, that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe, they could be turned off. It's not like it would be the first mob to drop straight fire. (i.e. Fire Ogres)
So.. Coal Wolfs, Fire Slime/ Cubes (somewhat interchangeable, aside from the slinky effect), possibly Blaze Powder Blazes (drop up to 6 blaze powder, instead of 2 (1 blaze rod)), and Coal Wolves. Actually, I don't think Blazes need a treaure mob, nor do Endermen.
Also, is it just me or do enemy treasure mobs appear more often? Aside from the nether ones, I keep running into packs of Mossy Cobble Zombies, Glass Skeletons, and TNT Creepers, with the occasional Obsidian Spider duo or trio thrown in, from time to time. (though they do keep somewhat rarer than the other three) Anyhow, as of today, I've only found three (kind of four) diamond sheep. Speaking of which, were you supposed to be able to shear baby diamond sheep? (I did and got two diamonds.) It took me a long to find the pair though, like several Minecraft days after I found my first one since 1.7. Gold pigs seem as common as they once were, but don't always drop gold, nor drop up to 8 anymore. Redstone cows appear to be rarer. Iron chickens don't seem any more common or vice versa. (still a bit too rare imo)

"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.

Remember, you can adjust the spawn rates in the config file that Treasure Mobs generates.

They only bad ones are the Obsidian Spiders and TNT Creepers. Give it some time and you'll probably never need to hit diamond to have a nether portal. Even so, they seem to be a bit rarer than the other hostile treasure mobs, at least for me. TNT creepers on the other hand.. The other two don't drop too excessively rare stuff to be OP, so them being fairly common is okay. If I recall correctly, it used to be the other way around (passive was more common than hostile) and that was kind of a problem. Thankfully, even though gold pigs are still common, they don't always drop their loot and don't seem to drop up to 8 anymore (or do they). Redstone Cows are the second most common, but don't seem to drop 10 or 15 anymore.
Oh, and you still didn't answer the other question. Are diamond lambs meant to be sheered? I thought you couldn't sheer baby regular sheep. Maybe, I'm just thinking you shouldn't get anything because you can't get anything from other baby animals.
Edit: I just looked through the version history. Never mind that first question I asked earlier. I just removed it.

You can't do anything to a Treasure Mob that you can't do to a normal mob. So, if you can't shear baby sheep, you can't shear baby Diamond Sheep. (Or, at least you shouldn't be able to.. )

Well, I never actually tried sheering a regular baby sheep, but I thought the whole premise is you can't get anything from baby animals, XP or loot. I figured the same would be for baby sheep, as in you shouldn't be able to sheer them until they get older. Maybe, I'm wrong. I'll go try and sheer a regular baby sheep and see if I get any wool. I just felt it was a little cheap if you can just breed them and get a third sheep to sheer right of the bat. Then again, given this has been the only pair I've seen and I haven't even seen another diamond sheep since (including that pair and their baby), maybe not.

in multiplayer town servers i sell anything involving fire and bombs A.K.A T.N.T flint and steel lava ect. and i love mods so tell me of your mod and i will see if like it or not and if i do like it i will support it
Not a big problem but could you make the config file be created in the server folder? Because right now the config files for the server are on my desktop and with my desktop every bit of space is needed :tongue.gif: Like I said not a big problem just a minor annoyance.
Maybe. I haven't decided what will not make them overpowered.
ok

It is created in a folder called "config" inside the server folder. Are you running your server from your desktop? Are you sure the file on your desktop is the file that the server is actually using?

I run my server from it's own folder (I have a shortcut to a bat file that runs my server, but only the shortcut is on the desktop it links to the bat file inside the server folder with the exe and the jar) All my other server mods save the config file to the config folder in my server folder but your mod creates a new config folder with the config file inside in the folder containing the server folder which for me is my desktop. Also I am sure the file on my desktop is file the server is using because I have tried to deleting but when I launch the server it creates it on the desktop again.
That's bizarre. It works fine for me, generating where everything else does.. I guess my only suggestion would to be to try a clean install of a server and see what that does.. I honestly don't know what the issue is.

When an iron chicken lays an egg and you throw it, does an iron chicken pop out or just a regular one.
Also can you implement breeding these treasure passive mobs? And one last question.
Now in 1.0 sheep regrow wool from eating grass. Will Diamond Sheep regrow there diamond fleece? I hope not because that is way op. It would be like having a diamond farm!
