Hiii! The mod is epic! I love it and I've been using it on my server (1.2.4) its all fine but when I make a new server (1.2.5) I can't seem to spawn the bikes O.o..I've been right clicking the item many times but it wont spawn ..weirdly I didn't show any error on my Modloader.txt and my server didn't crash lol.. I've installed modloadermp and all other stuffs lol .. So any solution ?

Im considering going over to forge. Not sure yet though. Their 1.2.5 update took too long, but that might be because of the multiplayer support they give now. Im waiting for the next minecraft update to see how fast they update. That will deside for me whether Im going over to forge or not.
The reason they dont support modloadermp is because forge now has the same functionailties, and probably more, as modloadermp I believe.
i believe this is the forge teams version of modloadermp. it is available stand alone or part of forge. i know that forge has had some very rough history with updates in the past few years and updating is a huge concern fore players mod makers and server operators alike. and i am also considering that asking someone to ditch modloadermp is similar to asking them to ditch modloader. it involves a lot of work but many mods use forge. i am convinced that the recent choices by the forge team will change the coarse of modding. sdk's modloadermp is a huge dependecie for all smp and even some ssp mod makers but i believe that the forge team has offered us with a reliable new source to connect mods to smp. i feel it would be a step in the right direction for ALL mod makers (including myself) to start compatibility with the new forge.
The wolves should be buffed a bit. You should be able to have them attack at will, either with a specific item (like the Flint and Steel for the Enderdragon), or with a certain key, like the F key or something.
Enderdragons should fire explosive fireballs if rightclicked with Fire Charges.
Skeleton and zombie rides. Skeletons shouldn't be able to jump, but fire arrows with space. Zombies attack any mob it touches.
Endermen and creeper models should change. the creeper is almost cute, but the Enderman...
Does this legal thing you linked mean it's OK if I decompile your mod and take your code that lets you control the animals and put it into my mod as long as I attribute you for the code? I'm not sure I understand it correctly. (If I'm mistaken I will definitely not do that.)

Odd, seems the user base between this and battlegear are diffrent (forge is winning by a land side there, and MLMP is winning by a land side here), perhaps let someone make a port to whichever version loses so that people can use either? i understand people wanting MLMP, but almost all the mods i use require forge.
edit: also, from what i understand, the whole reason they made their own MP thing was because they got tired of having to wait for modloaderMP to have to update before they could even START updating, since modloaderMP was actually required to use forge before, updates should be quicker without needing to wait for modloaderMP

which is a shame.... i enjoyed flying my ender dragon through twilight forest.... but i may never be able to do that again since twilight forest uses forge and so far it looks like this won't, i use mods like IC2, BC, Railcraft, Trains, etc etc, which all use forge, even more creeps and weirdos uses it, i love this mod but i can't give up all those for this.

Though saying that I wouldnt be totally surprised if SDK stops updating ModloaderMp now that forge has multiplayer support. If that doesnt happen you'll have to wait for mojang to release their modding API hopefully that will render both modloader and forge obsolete

.... you just made a very good point.... he seems to only be updating it because people need it, with forge he may not be so pressured to do so, also, they said the first version of the API will be very lose, i think they should of hired spacetoad and/or el from forge, or any of the others for that matter to mojang as they did the bukkit team, bukkit knows alot about MP modding... not sure how they handle SP, i know those two are VERY different.
edit: they mostly use the BC site for forge now, and they let you link directly to the forge that needs downloading iirc, imo, you should just use which one is easier to use, since you are doing this for free and all.
