I Seems that after checking and updating the mod, that its the painterly textures for it that are messed up. It comes up textureless for Copper Block, Tin Block, Manganese Block, Bronze Block, Hepatizon Block, Damascus Steel Block, Angmallen Block, and Steel Block for the base metals. [spoiler] [ /spoiler]
The Exmite Block and Meutoite Block in the ender metals. [spoiler][ /spoiler]

The Ignatius Block, Shadow Iron Block, Midasium Block, Vyroxeres Block, Ceruclase Block, Kalendrite Block, Vulcanite Block, Sanguinite Block, Lemurite Block, Adluorite Block, Shadow Steel Block, Inolae Block, and the Amordrine Block in the Nether Metals. [spoiler][ /spoiler]
The Brass Block, Electrum Block, Zinc Block, Silver Block, and Platinum Block in the Precious Metals. [spoiler][ /spoiler]
LE TNT, HE TNT, Igniter, and Match in the Utility Ores. [spoiler][ /spoiler]
Sorry for the Spoiler thing. i cant get it to work. :/
1. Don't make spaces in your Spoiler-Tags - then it should work just fine ^^ 2. Yeah - there are all Textures for Ore-Blocks and for the new added stuff from the last Content-Update missing.
Means, the Texture-Pack you are using isn't complete for these version of Metallurgy. You should better contact the one who made it, or switch to vanilla-textures instead.
Thanks i dont use spoilers at all so yeah. Also I got the textures from the OP. So ill try downloading again. See if that helps.
it says that a block slot 935 is conflicting. i have no other mods and they seem to both be from metallurgy. the two conflicting block ids are "metal block" in the precious pack and the copper door in base. can i simply change the id to a random number or s there a certain way i have to change it or can i at all
nevermind i changed copper doors id to 564 (i dont know how i came up with the number)
Posted three bugs in the bug tracker over the last week or so and they don't seem to be getting any attention, so I thought I'd post a heads up in the thread (i.e. this post).
I posted a bug here the other day about crushed gold dust smelting to iron. Does anybody have any insight into it? A re-post follows:
Found an interesting bug this morning:
First off I am running Forge 1.4.5-6.4.1.416, and Metallurgy 2 along with several of the popular technical mods (IC2, Forestry, Thermal Expansion, GregTech...) which all handle ore processing.
If I process gold ore in a macerator (IC2), I get gold dust, which smelts in any furnace or smelter into a gold ingot.
If I process gold ore in a pulverizer, I get pulverized gold dust which smelts to gold.
If I process gold ore in a crusher, (Steel was the only one I tested) I get a different ID gold dust, which smelts into iron dust, which then smelts into an iron ingot.
I hand-configured the config files of all of these mods, and made sure that there were no item ID overlaps, and the server and clients share the same config files as well. Gold is the only ore that does this in my testing, and only in a crusher. any ideas?

Not having any troubles with that myself. I tried crushing gold ore, I got metallurgy gold dust. I tried smelting all six different types of gold dust I have available, 2 didn't smelt, the other four became gold ingots. What mods do you have that add gold dust?

That's more than likely something with the texture files rather than the mod itself.
I quickly downloaded it and actually I was right. The area of the texture sheet for storage blocks is empty on those sheets. Whoever is in charge of those should update them soon :/
It's starting to look like I have the most Metallurgy textures though
Yeah, sorry for the absence lately. I have finals this week and last week (despite being called dead week) has been the busiest week of the semester. After this week I'll get back to work.
Armory has been put on hold for a bit, as we work on M3, which will change the default spawning of ores and add more config options. It will also be a big change to gameplay, crushers will not double ores, and we'll be adding new all machines, still working on the details though.
I'm actually excited about crushers not doubling ores. I use the Feed the Beast modpack with Metallurgy and Balkons added on and that sounds like a move away from duplicating stuff existing Feed the Beast mods do and towards providing new stuff that will complement what the other mods do. Since for now, Slowpoke has rejected Metallurgy for upsetting game balance, I'm always excited about changes that will improve the game balance when Metallurgy is used with other mods, and so I'm hopeful about the default ore spawning changes as well. If all goes well, we'll hopefully be able to provide Slowpoke and the rest of the Feed the Beast team some compelling arguments that stand a chance of changing his mind. After all, it would be the epitome of awesome if Feed the Beast got Metallurgy into one of their modpacks.

IC2, Thermal Expansion, and GregTech. The crushers seem to be making GregTech Dust for some reason, and again only with the gold, and only it doesn't smelt into what it is supposed to.
No big deal, we have warned all of the players to use a macerator or pulveriser instead, and oddly enough, Gold seems to be more plentiful than iron in our map seed anyway. Some might actually use this little "problem."
i had a question i have both infi and metallurgy mods but i think metal maybe missing something cause when i mine silver ore then smelt it it turns into a wand o.o? and zinc into a stone spear? O.o its abit confuseing but i think metal is either missing a few things or i dont know @_@

Is there a way to disable IC2 macerator recipes? I am using gregtech's nerfed recipes and metalurgy is wasting the nerf. I dont want to disable crushers completely, just crusher-> macerator recipe.

May i suggest also making it FTB friendly? I would love to run this mod with FTB

Unless I'm mistaken:
Vein count = veins/chunk
Ore count = ores/vein
