^^ I also use Millenaire , same crash. Removed the bin and installed new one, freshly added ModLoader and Metallurgy files, worked. Also you can get errors if there is a config file in your "Config" folder but the .class file is not in minecraft.jar
EDIT I : Oh, and I think two IDs are "overlapping"
EDIT II : Yup the "Metallurgy" tools are overlapping the "Millenaire" items in Item IDs
@Shadowclaimer , bother change the Item IDs a bit higher in next update?

Which items are conflicting so I can shift them higher? It'll take a lot of work to shift EVERY ONE OF THEM.
Also yea, sadly Coins are a little worthless until the SMP version, but I'm trying to get all the metals I have sprites done for ingame for now. (To me its no different than Gold being basically worthless in the current game environment)
Haha sprites are easily replaced :wink.gif: everything is in the "shadow" folder.
Yes quite easy.
I've tried to make my own mods but I
Can't seem to get it right so I don't try any more.
So I just do texture's and change other peoples stuff to my likings. :smile.gif:
perhaps the rarity of ores could also correspond to the distance from spawn? that way you can't stumble on some super rare ore after 10 minutes of digging around. And maybe have mechanical gear, were the player must fashion cogs and wire and cranks and various other things and then use those fashion armour. Like perhaps an upgraded form of daimond armour could be daimond scale armour that requires you to create daimond scales using iron and daimond. That's just a suggestion, but the mod is really cool, I much prefer this way of smelting and crafting different items than just somehow melting down chunks of ore into perfectly pure, perfectly shaped bars. The process is neat.

Thanks!
I'm unsure about how I could go about changing the spawn code to properly use the base spawn as their determining factor, as it stands the ore just uses "how many per chunk, how many per vein" which I don't intend on changing anytime soon =P
Also having stuff close to spawn, although its kinda overpowered, is part of the joy of it. Maybe that cave under your spawn has a small Adamantine vein, etc. its just part of the fun of it.
Another suggestion, this one just because it is an issue with many mods that has bugged me. Would it be possible to implement a system where after obtaining daimond or some rare substance you could create an enhanced furnace/workbench that could create twice as many items per creation as well as allowing for using large amounts of base materials, still rare, but allowing you to create the rarer stuff? You would need a large amount of the substance in question to create the upgraded block, such as orichaleum, then you could use other things like steel and redstone to create more of it. this is just a suggestion because adding in all of these materials that correspond to rarity limit the time that the player will use them, so you have to constantly look for a smidgen of stuff here and their to make a sword, which after it breaks will probably not get replaced for a while because of the rarity. But I think combing large amounts of less rare items would allow the player to be able to use the more powerful items more often but still have to search for it in the first place. This is just a suggestion, you do not have to use it, I just thought I would throw that out there. Once again, great mod!

Well I was contemplating adding an Iron Furnace akin to IC2's version (its 20% faster so it uses less fuel and smelts faster) but then you'd hit an error with duplicates when you use both mods.
I'm also not great with GUI yet.
I may do a Steel Furnace and Adamantine Furnace.. could be nice for people who want faster production (and a nice bar consumption)
So it'd be like:
Iron Furnace
III
ISI (I = Iron Bar, O = Stone Furnace)
III
+20% Smelting Speed
Steel Furnace
SSS
SIS (S = Steel Bar, I = Iron Furnace)
SSS
+30% Smelting Speed
Mithril Furnace
MMM
MSM (M = Mithril Bar, S = Steel Furnace)
MMM
+40% Smelting Speed
Adamantine Furnace
AAA
AMA (A = Adamantine Bar, M = Mithril Furnace)
AAA
+50% Smelting Speed
We just broke 1000 total downloads across all versions of the mod :wink.gif: thanks a lot guys for your incredible support and outpouring of praise. Make sure if you play it and enjoy it or hate it you return and tell me why, it helps me forge this mod into something better.

So I broke compatibility in 1.1, so I'll have another update up in a minute or two called 1.1.1, it'll free up about 50 more texture indices which should allow Millenaire to run with it again.
My sincere apologies.1.1.1 posted and released.

What're coins for ._. I know they'll be ultra-useful if collaborated with a Currency SMP. But in SSP?

Too make me wanna actually mine for it.
Don't worry though I'm not sharing it...I don't even
know how to upload it. :smile.gif:
