Staff
The main weapon of the Jaffa's and the Kull warriors. It can kill a mob with 3 shots (normal difficulty). Requires Naquahdah to shoot.
Zat
A Weapon only carried by Jaffa's. It can kill a mob with 2 shots. Slightly faster than the Staff, but has less uses. Requires Naquahdah to shoot.
Shock Grenade
A projectile that damages mobs but does not destroy blocks.
Symbiont Poison
A projectile that damages surrounding Jaffa's.
Goa'uld Hand Device
Can kill anything with 1 hit. Acts as a sword.
Mobs
Jaffa
Most common enemy. Randomly equipped with a Staff or Zat. Has a 1/10 chance of spawning with Horus armor. Spawns in deserts.
Zatarc
Looks like Jaffa, but explode when you get too close. Spawns in deserts.
Kull warrior
Rare enemy. Wears the Kull Armor and is equipped with a staff, but he shoots faster than the jaffa does.
Asgard
Rarest Enemy. They do not have a lot of health, but when you attack them they spawn explosive projectiles in the air and they teleport away.
Pyramids
Huge pyramids spawn in desert biomes. There's a room in the top of the pyramid which contains a few naquahdah blocks and a Jaffa spawner.
MALP
Follows you around and has an inventory with the size of 2 chests.
The Stargate itself
I'm currently just messing around with this, so don't expect it to be amazing.
To start, you need a stargate. It is made like this:
then you craft a DHD (Dial Home Device), which is made out of one diamond. put it near a stargate and press the button. It only goes to the nether at the moment, but as soon as Shockahpi supports dimensions again, you can actually go to other planets!

3. goto appdata/roaming/.minecraft/bin and open minecraft.jar with winzip, winrar or 7zip
4. open stargate.zip and ModLoader.zip
5. drag all the files from stargate.zip and the ModLoader.zip to minecraft.jar
6. delete META-INF in minecraft.jar
7. play the game!

3)Where are youre wraith and ori?
caiman you are correct that its symbiote, at the moment a dhd isnt needed since it only goes to the nether he will probably add one when it can go to other planets, and the wraith and ori seem to be planned for the future.
I tested this one out for you, and there were a couple things that I noticed.
1) I didn't run into any of the mod's mobs
2) The weapons only fire if you have an arrow in your inventory, and make the arrow noise on impact.
3) The grenades worked well
Other than that this looks really good. The guns fire projectiles in a straight line, do decent damage, and the guns have different qualities.
The Asgard are not enemies!!!!!!

I just want to say guys this is only the skeleton of the mod its like a pre release so dont worry it will all be fixed and stuff will be added but you need to give it time this is a huge mod to make

This Mod is win. It needs more Replicators, though. Coding them would be a nightmare, but Replicators are the apocalypse in concentrated form. Maybe a dormant replicator planet would be one of the places you can go? You know... like the world that had been consumed to the core and was now just a sphere of replicators?

Do you have any plans on adding Stargate-specific Tauri tech like MALPS, Gate Irises w/GDO etc. (I'll count the symbiote poison as Tok'Ra tech just for simplicity of discussion)? How about less Stargate universe-specific tech like FN P90s?
I think that would really complete the SG-1/Atlantis feel, though even if you kept it limited to Stargate alien races that still adds a lot to Minecraft (there are a quite a few modern weapon mods out there that could fill in in a pinch too).
