hi ShaRose, just wanted to tell that the older version for 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 (0.15.2) doesn't seem to work with forge build 518, which is a very good build for 1.4.7, works with 30+ mods in my client.
I tried different configs (with and without mods etc), but putting it into coremods folder produces right after logging in a fatal error:

I know it's no fun working on older versions and i will accept if you don't care about it.
I need it for using "Spawn Rules", which should work much better than "Mob Spawn Controls" for AtmosMobs.
So no hesitate, but maybe you see in a climpse what goes wrong here
omg, made a fatal error by myself i used an old 0.15.2 file, which was for putting into the minecraft.jar ..
So now with the fresh download used it's all ok
Hello ShaRose, I seem to having problems with using GUIAPI at all. The only core-mods I have installed are Forge and ChickenCore. I'm using MultiMC. Here's my crash report. I've tried: Reinstalling, updating my lwjgl, and using GUIAPI dependent mods without GUIAPI. They've all failed.

I know about the error, but it's only on low end hardware and I've never been able to reproduce. Every time someone's gotten the error, I've tried to get them to contact me again, but they tend to die and never post again ever.
Basically, if you are actually willing to try out debug versions and actually post again with the results I 'might' be able to fix it. Please say that's true, it's been bugging me since... 1.6 beta or something.

Sorry about the long wait, Ironically when I finally got someone who said they'd test I managed to not get time to make the debug version. Anyways, try using this and post the new stacktrace. It should let me know EXACTLY what value is supposedly invalid, where it actually throws, and (just in case) if it's actually from guiapi's code at all.

Well... Good News I guess. It works. I didn't crash. Just to be sure it wasn't some random phenomena, I retried your current release, and it still crashed. So, whatever you did to that version made it work, for me at least.

Wait... Seriously?
All I did (literally) was spam Util.checkError() in every single line that did anything remotely openGL related along the stacktrace...

Yeah seriously. I'm surprised as well. I'm no modder but I know some basics in Java, and I highly doubted you did anything different. Yet here we are, and it works.
This only recently started after my java would run out of memory, the world would start but crash from out of memory, these errors didnt start. i installed optifine and it all started there, it works on vanilla MC.
I removed optifine, completely put the mods in from scratch, the bin etc, but now it has never been fixed
I have the most latest forge(at this date), i removed Millenaire as it caused a lot of lag and noticed it had started, but it was i think caused by optifine, i reinstalled java to latest java, even got jfk + netbeans as i want to code(jfk includes jre so its the same)
I have an LWJGL error, and im using windows.
I have tried replacing the native, and lwjgl files in /bin
but it still does not work, it crashes when i start a world(also before that an error starts)

2013-04-29 19:37:57 [INFO] [STDOUT] Exiting mod pack

I don't know if these issues have been touched yet, but for some reason taking gui api out of the core mods and starting a world stops all natural mob spawning forever, also it seems to block out thaumcraft angry zombie spawning which is the reason I took it out in the first place

hi ShaRose, just wanted to tell that the older version for 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 (0.15.2) doesn't seem to work with forge build 518, which is a very good build for 1.4.7, works with 30+ mods in my client.
I tried different configs (with and without mods etc), but putting it into coremods folder produces right after logging in a fatal error:

I know it's no fun working on older versions and i will accept if you don't care about it.I need it for using "Spawn Rules", which should work much better than "Mob Spawn Controls" for AtmosMobs.
So no hesitate, but maybe you see in a climpse what goes wrong here
omg, made a fatal error by myself i used an old 0.15.2 file, which was for putting into the minecraft.jar ..
So now with the fresh download used it's all ok
I know about the error, but it's only on low end hardware and I've never been able to reproduce. Every time someone's gotten the error, I've tried to get them to contact me again, but they tend to die and never post again ever.
Basically, if you are actually willing to try out debug versions and actually post again with the results I 'might' be able to fix it. Please say that's true, it's been bugging me since... 1.6 beta or something.
Absolutely. I'd love to see this issue fixed.
Could you make a source package where we can just drop it into the src folder under mcp.
Thanks

You... you mean like I have done? https://github.com/ShaRose/GuiAPI/tree/master/mcp
GuiAPI uses a few third party libraries as well, so I can't just toss them all together in a source drop. I have instructions that explain everything.
I'll test it post-haste.
