I tried as you told, but got the same. And then, I rewrote program using SettingMulti.get() instead of ModSettings.getMultiSettingValue() (as well as other settings), and it worked!
I suggest you make sure if the method is included in the zip for users...
Actually, that might be it in hindsight. I probably should set up branches for each version.
Hey everyone. Does someone know how I could disable the GUI? I made a launcher for some friends and I would like them to use it without being able to change the settings I made.
Is it possible to hide it or deactivate the GUI? Or maybe lock the access with a password?

You can't. Even if I included code to 'lock it down' it would still be extremely easy to work around it.
Ok, thanks for your answer. Is there not even a way to make the global mod settings button disappear if suddenly a certain class file would happen to get missing? :tongue.gif:
That make me think, I wished a modder would come up with a way to configure the launcher and the button that appear or not.

If you just want the button gone, you can just install it without the modified class. Pulling settings would still work though, and you can easily edit them with any text editor.
However, I have about 40 mods installed at the minute. I don't feel like restarting everything to remove the GuiAPI. But it's good to know for my next launcher.

Is it really that painful for you to look at a few ads while you wait for 5 seconds?
I'm fairly sure it's better then getting a virus from unknown websites.

The website where the download link is, is down. I cant access the link, when i click it, it says the website is down. If you know when it will be fixed, or if you have a direct download link, please reply
Yes, as said previously, the site where you download the file is down, which makes it impossible to get the file. It would be very much appreciated if you could provide us with a direct download link or some other form of download for us.

I click the download button and it takes me to addcraft . I wait for 2 seconds and then it said download mod ... nothing . Please help :sad.gif:
The default file manager is crap and has bugs.
I hadn't heard it has issues with GuiAPI, but I know it messes up modloader installs all the time.
When it says download mod, you are supposed to click download mod.
