Forcefields, can they be variable in size and look different from who has put it down?
(each needs to be configurable in size, not one size fits all)
(my smp map has rooms, (think hotel) and if they wanted to activate their own forcefield)
for SMP additionally, could you make an anti-forcefield suit? (so I could go anywhere without being turned into blackened pixels)

I can see the advantage of an adjustable force field without much difficulty, but it would mean that I would have to send more data from the server to EVERY connected client, making sure they all know how big each force field barrier is at the same time. I'm considering alternative (and much easier to sync) ways of setting up force barriers, such as an energy wall or something.
The issue with having a suit immune to force fields, besides being incredibly difficult to program, is that anybody could steal that armor by killing said player. I don't know how to control what items drop at death.
Berkin, Cannon mod is strongly desired with these cute particles and texts over blocks, but most people still don't install it because of incompatibilities with Forge and other basic mods. I wish you learn to program with ML and Forge, and say goodbye to conflicts with other mods :smile.gif:

Hello, I'm only studying english so forgive my grammar errors.

Energy wall sounds pretty sweet too :smile.gif:
Yeah, I really don't understand programming and the associated difficulty :/
The suit (for me atleast) is something that only server admins can use. (so it can be 9000% OP)
To stop it from being carried into the wrong hands, you could make it so that it negates all damage? Fortifies health to an insane amount? Extreme regen?
Just ideas, but stops you needing to control on-death items.
To my knowledge, this has no compatibility issues with Modloader, the Clay Soldier Mod, the Zeppelin Mod, Wireless Redstone, and TMI. I'm not sure where people are getting the idea that it is incompatible with Modloader and Modloader mods, although Forge incompatibility is expected, considering the amount of base classes Forge modifies.

Looks great. Can't wait for it to come out.
This is one of my favorite mods to date :smile.gif:
The mob magnet ;D and a force field/gravity lift. So much fun.
Have you thought about a turret of sorts? Load the 'cannon' and it will auto fire at mobs, especially creepers.
Did you delete the Meta-Inf folder? If not, do so.
This is the SMP update. It is completely separate. I don't plan on posting any additional topics on the subject.
A turret mod already exists, I don't want to reinvent the wheel. I respect other modders like that.
Thanks!

Good point.
Nice work! Liked, favorited, and embedded in the topic.
Someone already made one, but I see nothing wrong with you making another one. You didn't have to ask me for permission, lol.
