The wood all disappears after I click yes and the back up is made, I tried deleting the config file and that didn't help, IDK what to try now. So the yes does nothing to help me.
well...the easiest way to fix that problem is to remove all your stuff from the TF dimension and delete it. you will lose all your changes to the dimension, but it will regen properly the next time you enter the dimension

Screw that, it took me way too long to build what I did, im good
OMIEGA, another thing you can do is use MCEdit to save whatever you built and/or move it somehwere else. mayhbe to your overworld, delete the twilight forest, regen it, and then palce it back in
Using Twilight Forest 1.20.4 I get the following error on startup:

I've searched both Twilight Forest and Hardcore Ender Expansion configs for the mentioned stats, but they don't appear there for either mod.
Yep, don't know what it is with mod authors and not adding config options... if you add something that takes and ID, make a config... really not rocket science here...
Thankfully, the Hardcore Ender Expansion author cared enough to put out a ninja fix for it.
Thank you for the updated version for Minecraft 1.6.4.
But the new version(1.20.4) has some bugs achievements!
Sorry, those progression achievements will be further fleshed out in the versions for Minecraft 1.7+, but they're useless in the 1.6 version. There should be a new version out soon that just removes them.

I've searched both Twilight Forest and Hardcore Ender Expansion configs for the mentioned stats, but they don't appear there for either mod.
I'll have a version out soon, with a configurable number you can use to relocate the achievement IDs. The good news is that Minecraft 1.7+ doesn't use stat ids anymore, so that problem will never happen again.
Updated to 1.7.2 and loaded my twilight forest from 1.6.2 and all of the twilight oak blocks disappeared from the world, everything in my tree house is floating. Is there something I did wrong during installation?
The Forge team did try some wizardry to get mod blocks importing to the new save format in Minecraft 1.7+, which doesn't use block IDs. I'm not surprised though that it doesn't seem to be fully working. I'm afraid you might have to start a new game in Minecraft 1.7.
Sorry, those progression achievements will be further fleshed out in the versions for Minecraft 1.7+, but they're useless in the 1.6 version. There should be a new version out soon that just removes them.
The Naga should appear when you go near the center of the courtyard.
From a distance, you should see (might have to use a zoom mod, like optifine) a "spawner" that has nothing inside it -- that's a trigger for the "not yet defeated Naga", and if you leave the area, the Naga goes away and the spawner returns.
If you get close, the spawner goes away, and a Naga is generated.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?

Tried your advice several times, in different ways, but still nothing. When I'd first gone into the dimension it was there, but I was never able to kill it, only wound it before running away. Would that have something to do with it?

Twilight Forest uses unconfigurable achievement ids. No configuration, no compatibility. Not with Hardcore Ender Expansion. Well, 'they' use configurable achievement ids so I can fix it that side. But it should still be fixed this side.
So, when I load up my SMP server while I'm still in the twilight forest, I get this error:

Hey, I want to make some sort of a map that would require this mod! As long as I give you recognizance and a link to this mod, may I use it?
Please read the original post before asking for mod pack permission. This is such a commonly asked question, all mods should include this information. In this case, the original post says:
You have permission to include the Twilight Forest mod in any mod pack, as long as the following conditions are met:
Provide a link to this forum post
Properly credit the author, Benimatic
You cannot make any money off of the mod pack
Remove the mod from your pack if I specifically request it
i started to fight a naga with life steal from infernal mobs an hour ago, and i'm still fighting it! since lifesteal increases health of the mob for the damage it deals + the nagas furious nature, it's impossible to kill, and as it's health goes up, it gets longer!!! super epic!!!
can you decrease the nagas rage slightly in case this ever happens again with other people?
(ps im not dead yet cause im wearing amethyst from biomes oplenty, not cheating.)
The wood all disappears after I click yes and the back up is made, I tried deleting the config file and that didn't help, IDK what to try now. So the yes does nothing to help me.
Screw that, it took me way too long to build what I did, im good

Thank you for your update. 1.20.5 is good!
And I updated russian translation of this mod (with achivements): http://yadi.sk/d/FVm3AveX2n_N3
If you see not English language, open this spoiler!
One question I have though is there are two naga courtyards near me, but there's never a naga in either of them, do I need to spawn it somehow?
From a distance, you should see (might have to use a zoom mod, like optifine) a "spawner" that has nothing inside it -- that's a trigger for the "not yet defeated Naga", and if you leave the area, the Naga goes away and the spawner returns.

Please read the original post before asking for mod pack permission. This is such a commonly asked question, all mods should include this information. In this case, the original post says:
can you decrease the nagas rage slightly in case this ever happens again with other people?
(ps im not dead yet cause im wearing amethyst from biomes oplenty, not cheating.)
