Updated to version 1.19.0, supporting Minecraft 1.6.2
Phew, I've been extremely busy IRL, but I finally found a few hours to make this release. The changes to entities in the new minecraft version were extensive, so there's very likely still a few bugs left in this update. Just let me know what you find and I'll work on fixing them.
yay! is missed you, bugs: the magic trees leaves textures are weird, knight armor is not ''sticked'' to body
I asked a while back if the TF dimension auto-loading when you load a world (or create a world) had been stopped, and I was told yes, so I downlaoded it again
whoever told me that lied to me

I asked a while back if the TF dimension auto-loading when you load a world (or create a world) had been stopped, and I was told yes, so I downlaoded it again
I stopped a relatively vanilla server from loading any chunks when the player wasn't in that dimension. To be specific, it still creates a server object for that dimension, but without any chunks loaded, the server uses minimal resources.
I don't have any actual code about chunk or dimension loading in the mod. That sort of thing is supposed to be handled by the server, and I have little control over whether it's doing what you want or not.
EDIT: For everyone. In the future, do not blame XYZ mod for ABC issue unless you get the same issue with NO OTHER MODS installed (and tell us you did this check with some form of 'proof'). Ok? Developers in the same COMPANY often have issues communicating with one another, even on the same TEAM how anyone expects hobbiest developers from different mods to communicate is beyond me... so things often cause snowball effects without anyone the wiser...

No. They did NOT lie to you. The issue you are running into is that often other mods will interact with mods in unspecified ways. The specific issue you are running into is ThaumCraft. ThaumCraft now uses Nodes instead of chunk viz. Nodes load always and frequently cause their chunks to load as well. In other words if a world has been generated and that Minecraft has Thaumcraft in it, that world will load when the level loads.
This is a Thaumcraft issue, not a Twilight Forest issue.
If you want to prove me wrong. Go into any number of other dimensions and quit the game. Load and unload the level once and see if only Dimension 7 (Twilight Forest) and Dimension 1 (Overworld) load. If only those two load/unload then I am wrong. IF ANY other worlds load/unload then I am perceivably correct.
(What is Dimensional Slices?)
This would be better if you used Mystcraft or Dimensional Doors as it would allow you to generate additional random dimensions to test this in. I am completely positive that this is the issue as I had the same problem with Thaumcraft and Mystcraft/Dimensional Doors and Twilight Forest.

See the above. I seriously doubt this loading/unloading issue is caused by Twilight Forest, but aspects of other mods forcing it to load (i.e. ThaumCraft: specifically because GregTech explicitly states that it absorbs ALL nodes in a world if ThaumCraft node absorption is used.)
Benimatic, could you please try and make this mod compatible with the Enchanted Furnaces Mod? if you can't, I still thank you for the effort.
In what way are the two mods not compatible? I haven't used Enchanted Furnaces, but all the woods from TF seem to work correctly as fuel sources in regular furnaces (and in Metallurgy ones too).

IDK why they aren't compatible. BTW. Why do I have to restart my game every time I go into the Twilight Forest for the first time?
Any idea what might be causing this?
I've noticed some other people have this problem too.
I have Bilbocraft, Biomes O' Plenty, Bilbocraft BoP addon and NEI installed along with Twilight Forest.
And of course I have the latest version of Forge and Twilight Forest installed.
Hard to say, since you don't provide any information at all.
When I try to load the dimension, it get stuck on the loading terrain screen forever, but when I reload my game it takes about 15 seconds to finally load.
Sounds like it could possibly be due to RAM, but I don't know for sure. Have a look at your RAM usage in both cases and see if there is a noticeable difference.
There's no change that I can see, but if I needed to, how would I give it more RAM?

Nope, texture packs are not the problem. It also has nothing to do with Optifine. The textures for those particular leaves are broken. Natura has the same issue with its Nether-mobs, such as the Nitro Creeper.
On a side note, Benimatic, I loooove this mod. I've heard about it and watched it on Youtube and this is the first time I get to actually play with it. I have no disappointments whatsoever. Now I wonder how the inhabitants of the Twilight Forest will like me sending villagers to their realm and making villages there...
quick question:
I found an underground maze(?) in the dark forest and in one of the chambers there was a block with a yellow cap and various Boss faces on the sides( looked like the trophy icons)
I can't seem to be able to break it, and it doesn't react to anything. Is this something unfinished? Or am I using it wrong?

That sounds like Trophy Pedestal. This version is my first experience with Twilight Forest, but I did see what your were talking about in NEI. You might have to use the Mazebreaker pickaxe to get it, but I'm not sure. Also, if you put a boss trophy on top of it, the other boss icons on the side grey out. Other than that, I dunno what else it may do.
You have obviously never been on Reddit (or 4chan)

I have been waiting for this update FOREVER (okay not forever it just felt like forever ).
p.s. This is (in my opinion) one of the best mods out there!
