It's Forge build 716 based on the first line of the log, which is the latest version, but that's not the problem here.
I'm guessing you installed Forge after Optifine? Always install Optifine after Forge and any other jar mods (unless they tell you to do otherwise.)
I'm getting odd areas of the forest where the underground got completely replaced with a cube of glass, but just in a single area(from y=4 to a few blocks below sea level (y=30?)). (aboveground is unaffected)
Also, what biomes are "Major Feature" and "Minor Feature"?
The goblin strongholds will eventually be surrounded by a magic shield, kind of like a forcefield. The glass is a placeholder for that.
Major Feature and Minor Feature biomes used to mark where the features were back a few versions ago, but I stopped using that system. So now they're not used.
Not sure if it's a bug, but the rivers and other surface sometime generate nothing but glass blocks.
Scepter of Twilight, the drop from the Lich, is also bugged. Sometimes when right clicked it keeps auto-firing until you switch to axe or something else in the hotbar and back to the scepter.
Glass blocks, as mentioned, are a placeholder for a type of block that will surround the strongholds.
That scepter bug has been there for a while. It seems to be partially a problem with using items in the vanilla minecraft code. It doesn't really crash anything, so I admit I haven't spent a lot of time trying to fix it.
The Magic Map seems to hang my server, it happens everytime someone uses a magic map.

Hello, it's me again!
This time it's not a suggestion. It's a question/request. (Forgive me for asking if it's already fixed.)
I was playing on a server that had this mod installed (this was 1.4.7 I think...) and whenever we would try to go to the TF the server would crash, from excessive lag. If this hasn't already been fixed, could you please look into fixing it? Thanks.

You could try the 'feed the beast' launcher. You don't technically have to install one of their mod packs. By 'technically' I mean, you do initially, but you can then remove all their mods and add your own.
To add/remove mods in 'feed the beast' simply click the <looks it up> 'edit mod pack' button. Another 'window' will popup with three buttons at the top "Mods" for normal mods (you put into the 'mods' folder), "JarMods" (for mods you put into the jar file) and "CoreMods" (Core mods). There are two scrolling lists around an "enabled" and "disabled" pair of buttons, and that's all above an "open folder" and "add mod" buttons (all are fairly self explanatory).
Of course, after bothering to type all of that I noticed that there is 'news' (in the news tab) showing the 'new launcher'... So, everything I just said may be meaningless soon enough... /cry

naw, the new launcher won't stop custom launchers
plus the new launcher will let you chose which version of MC to launch, though I don't think it will do mods just yet, and will allow for better control over MC, IE RAM allocation
Hi, I have a suggestion for this mod.
When you use bone meal on a twilight oak log, it could grow moss, like when you use bone meal on grass, it grows flowers and tall grass.
Could you make the mosquito spawns a bit less? I spawned inside a swamp and I'm not kidding, every time I go out of my house I have at least one of the buggers climbing up my stairs. (I also spawned in a tree. Pretty cool.)
That's all I need, really. I'm not sure if it's just my swamp (Do they spawn in the water? They seem to like the water.)

Oh my god this is one of my favorite mods.
I just started playing this yesterday, and i can't stop. I've already moved msot of my stuff from the over world to my probably permanent home in the over world.
Just one thing i wanted to point out though- you could do with a lot less paintings for performance in the lich towers. There was about like 50 of them, and that's enough to raise tick percent from like 9 to 14.
also one more thing, when you finish the goblin shielf thing, will it repalce the glass in pre-existign worlds? If not, i can just take it out with MC-edit.
I went to the Crashlogs file in the .minecraft folder and copy/paste what i put earlier. what else do you need and how can i find it?

that indicates a GUI issue...what version of Forge are you running...it doesn't say in the file as that is not all of it...it was too big to paste the whole thing wasn't it?

yes, as many don't actually mod the jar file allowing you to quickly remove jar mods in case they conflict with other mods
MultiMC or Magic Launcher come to mind. I use magic launcher myself
It's Forge build 716 based on the first line of the log, which is the latest version, but that's not the problem here.
I'm guessing you installed Forge after Optifine? Always install Optifine after Forge and any other jar mods (unless they tell you to do otherwise.)
The goblin strongholds will eventually be surrounded by a magic shield, kind of like a forcefield. The glass is a placeholder for that.
Major Feature and Minor Feature biomes used to mark where the features were back a few versions ago, but I stopped using that system. So now they're not used.
Glass blocks, as mentioned, are a placeholder for a type of block that will surround the strongholds.
That scepter bug has been there for a while. It seems to be partially a problem with using items in the vanilla minecraft code. It doesn't really crash anything, so I admit I haven't spent a lot of time trying to fix it.
The kobold model is working fine here.

I was playing on a server that had this mod installed (this was 1.4.7 I think...) and whenever we would try to go to the TF the server would crash, from excessive lag. If this hasn't already been fixed, could you please look into fixing it? Thanks.

I will try both listed above, I have ried multimc and magic launcher but they are jsut too confusing to me
You could try the 'feed the beast' launcher. You don't technically have to install one of their mod packs. By 'technically' I mean, you do initially, but you can then remove all their mods and add your own.
To add/remove mods in 'feed the beast' simply click the <looks it up> 'edit mod pack' button. Another 'window' will popup with three buttons at the top "Mods" for normal mods (you put into the 'mods' folder), "JarMods" (for mods you put into the jar file) and "CoreMods" (Core mods). There are two scrolling lists around an "enabled" and "disabled" pair of buttons, and that's all above an "open folder" and "add mod" buttons (all are fairly self explanatory).
Of course, after bothering to type all of that I noticed that there is 'news' (in the news tab) showing the 'new launcher'... So, everything I just said may be meaningless soon enough... /cry
As I haven't used magic launcher or MultiMC in a while... what is so confusing about them? Perhaps we could help.
naw, the new launcher won't stop custom launchers
plus the new launcher will let you chose which version of MC to launch, though I don't think it will do mods just yet, and will allow for better control over MC, IE RAM allocation
When you use bone meal on a twilight oak log, it could grow moss, like when you use bone meal on grass, it grows flowers and tall grass.
This is a great mod, and keep up the good work!
