Could be great if you send the source to Github, allowing others to help you in developement, and opening way to others propose changes and new things to this awesome mod.
I've already thought about doing that and and some point I will. It will most likely happen after I've updated it to 1.7.

First things first, these mods are freaking awesome! I was hoping that you could make the multi page chest sortable with inventory tweaks, if at all possible. Either way keep up the good work man, these mods are awesome.
An older version of multipage chest was compatible with inventory tweaks. I hoped to regain this feature and updated both mods: Invtweaks and MPChest. But - nothing. Bummer!
It's been a long time since I've been around. I am glad to see that my favorite mod is still around (and working towards 1.7.4)
CubeX, thank you for your ongoing work! I really look forward to trying the 1.7.4 stuff but am thrilled that minecraft will now let me play earlier versions in the meantime so I can relearn all the stuff I forgot during my absence!
Is there anything I can do, artwise, for you? I am a digital artist. I can also bug hunt.

There is nothing artwise you could do at the moment but you could hunt for bugs in Custom Stuff for 1.7 when there is a working version.

I have a hodge podge of crops, trees, and ores from around 1.5 or so. I just started checking to which ones still work for 1.6.4 -- I imagine I'll have quite a lot of re-doing for 1.7.4 once that's ready!
If i were u i would skip redoing for 1.6.4 and wait for 1.7...
I've more then hundred blocks/items implemented in my version and it was a damn amount at the last major change :/
I think Cube should still stay with 1.6.x, because i fell 1.7.x too disorganized in modding side... I have readed the Forge Forum, and looks like the devs wont make any updates more for 1.7.x... And will jump directly for 1.8... and if only god know WHEN MCP will be released to rest of 1.7.x versions, imagine for 1.8, still unreleased. (If some day a mod loader will be released, cause 2 factors: the ill-fated Mod API counting the fact most of major modders (from MCP) now work for Mojang, and i fell they can boycott the most basic thing for modding in order to promote this Bukkit-style API...)
Anyway, i will still use 1.6.4 here because these tidbits, all my major mods are still in 1.6 (ComputerCraft even will release a new version for 1.6). For me, updating now is impossible.
. I'm still on 1.6.4 since most of my mods haven't updated to 1.7 . Oh well, guess I'll have to wait then. I don't think folks are going to update to 1.7 anymore but skip right to 1.8.

I think I have about that many to. Your advice is sound but I'm not doing much and practicing a bit with 1.6.4 will help me get back into the groove of things.
What are the big changes with 1.7.2 (aside from the no longer used IDs) that impact modding? Curious and asking mostly for conversation

There is now a 1.6.4 version with the Inventory Tweaks API. The version number is 1.2.5.

The removal of IDs is the only change that affects Custom Stuff mods. You'll only notice most of the other changes if you actually mod Minecraft. So you most likely only have to remove any reference to IDs to update from 1.6 to 1.7 any maybe some other small things.

Yes, there are 243, but the bests are still for 1.6.4 (Ex. ComputerCraft, WebDisplays, NBTEdit, SmartMoving, etc), plus the ComputerCraft creator wants to wait for an 1.7.4 Forge (that according to the post, will not exist).
Then, for me the 1.7.x is only a transition point to the real "stable" version (for modding). 1.8! That is! Until 1.8 be released and the mod makers update your mod loaders and MCP, i believe continuing to build for 1.6.4 would be the right thing

I have a question about this: How we will need to reference the minecraft or mod items? using "minecraft:stone", "stone" or anything else?

Hello, I wanted to thank you for such an awesome mod with the More Furnaces. I had someone request a mod showcase for it so I recorded one today and posted it. I wanted to include a link and any comments would be appreciated.

Here's my comments on Custom Stuff 2 :
Custom Stuff 2 is an exceptional mod. It brings a great deal of modding capability without the added difficulties of de-compiling and compiling, or installing extra tools such as eclipse. The forum support for learning the ropes of Custom Stuff is excellent and the documentation tutorials will get you up and started quickly. With a bit of work and effort, Custom Stuff 2 can easily replace dozens of mods that add unique items and blocks. No longer need you say farewell to a block or item you like because that mod developer stopped updating!
Only as long Cutsom Stuff is updated. But i hope when Cube2X someday stops, he give it to someone else to continue.
Yes, all my eggs are in one basket. But I have a great deal of confidence that this basket is a much longer lasting basket than most of the ones on market!
Thank you for the update and your continued work on CS2!
I've started trying to update my mods and I think I ran into something odd:
1. I have a fresh install of Minecraft and am using Forge10.12.0.1047
2. I have put the CS2 .jar into the /mod folder. Things operate normally.
3. Following the tutorial, I created a folder, but I named it CS2_RMBOres (instead of CS2_Tutorial).
4. I ran Minecraft so it would create my _customstuff, assets, etc, folders and mod.js file
5. It only created the _customstuff folder.
6. Thinking I needed to literally have a folder named CS2_Tutorial for it to work, I created new /mods/CS2_Tutorial folder
7. I reran Minecraft. In the CS2_Tutorial folder, I only had the _customstuff folder but in the CS2_RMBOres folder i now have all the folders and .jar file i expected to have.
8. Testing one more time, i made a /mods/CS2_SomeOtherStuff folder. I reran minecraft.
9. Again, the last folder i created only has _customstuff, but the CS2_Tutorial Folder is now filled properly.
I've already thought about doing that and and some point I will. It will most likely happen after I've updated it to 1.7.
Not to hurry you or to spam, just wondering..... Is there any news about multipage chest / inventory tweaks compatability yet?

That's what I'm going to do anyway.
Edit: BTW, I'm thinking about removing aliases as blocks and items haven't ids anymore. Are there any arguments against this?
Oh right, there are still metas. Alright I'll keep aliases.

Figured I'd report this
