Is there anything special I have to do for regex expressions, like use "/../"?
No, any function that expects a regex will treat the argument as a regex. As I mentioned above the regex used is the Java regex implementation so it will differ from PCRE in some ways.

Nevermind, I was just about to delete the post. I forgot to add $${ and }$$... [facepalm]
I just got a new mouse today, and whenever I press my macro button, minecraft crashes. This mod's all over the stacktrace. http://pastebin.com/kAxmMyLW

I know, I know...I'm too talkative.
Anyway, two things:
1. When I open a SSP world to LAN with cheats in creative, most of my macros simply returned "__ was denied by the server" or something like that. What is it, why is it there, and how do I fix it????

Somehow an invalid keycode is making it through from the input system, if you remove the mod then minecraft will probably still crash, just at a different point. Have you changed any mappings in .jinput.txt or is this with no config changes at all? Check the settings in your mouse driver if not.

2. Does the chatfilter module work in SSP?
The first is the permissions system getting upset by the transition to multiplayer, not sure what's causing that but I'd guess it's something to do with the mod receiving its own query echo'd back by the internal server.
As to the second, I'd say almost certainly no. The mod is designed to work in SMP and SSP isn't really supported by most of the functionality.
Everything supported by the java regex engine, which in all honesty is pretty much everything except for named capturing subpatterns. Regex functions in the mod default to case-insensitive though being the only difference.
wait. are you saying that Java doesn't have named capturing groups (which, looking at the API site, it appears to) or that you don't implement them?

Java 7 does, Java 6 (which is used by this mod and most others) does not, which is pretty much irrelevant because the regex functions in the mod don't provide any way to utilise them anyway. So yes, what I said originally: "all regex features except that case-insensitivity is enabled by default for convenience, and no named capturing subpatterns"

I tried it in vanilla before posting, and it worked. I could even change the player list to it and the list popped up. No, I didn't change anything in .jinput.txt

LWJGL named it Button 10.
Button 10? Okay now I know what's happening, I'll have to put some special handling in for that. Compatible mode should stop it from crashing at least in the mean time until I can figure out a fix for that.
This was installed on both computers, in (as mentioned above) the same world. When installed only on the non-host computer, it worked fine. On the host computer, any chats sent from the host were not formatted, and when I sent a chat from the other computer I was disconnected for "Invalid character in chat" when all I said was "hi". The host computer seems to have kicked me for the mod re-formatting the chats. (I added colored chat support)
Do you (or anyone else) know of any way to alter these permissions?
It's not really feasible to support the open-to-lan mode at the moment because there are too many ways that it differs from a "real" SMP session, I might look at it in the future though.

Is there a key/value system for $$[[..]]? You don't have to waste your effort trying to give me a code workaround, because I could save you the time and figure it out, but... is there something I'm missing?

Hello, would anyone know where I can get the up-to-date liteloader files for:
VoxelPlayer 0.9.4
VoxelMenu 1.4.6_04 (not 03, as 04 is out now)
VoxelPacket 2.0.1
VoxelCommon 1.4.6
These are apparently available as .liteloader files as that is how to load up VoxelMenu and other mods, but I cannot find where they might be hosted. Any ideas?

If they aren't available, as part of the official VoxelModPack installer, you can get them in the latest (9.4!!!) version of VoxelModPack available in "Feed The Beast" (you may have to manually edit the mod list, to select the preferred version)... then, you just grab them out of the /mods/ folder in the FTB install folder (check in /voxelmodpack/minecraft/mods/ folder for the .litemod files).
If you do go with the officially released VMP installer, make sure that when you are archiving the /jar/ folder, you include the version.txt file, as well as the /com/ folder and class files (as well as any additional files/folders in that mods /jar/ folder). Liteloader needs that version.txt file, to know it's the right one to load.
And, since we're talking about VMP now, and because I've been rather quiet, lately, I just wanted to say "Thank you!!!" to Mumfrey for whatever role he had, in restoring NoClip in VoxelFlight, and to pass along my full gratitude to whoever was directly responsible for fixing it in Single Player mode.

Yes, however I'd like to not actually have to rip them from the FTB pack. If I ever had an intention on making some form of a public release I wouldn't sit very comfortably with the idea of having taken it from another mod-pack. If FTB got the .liteloader files they must be somewhere, right? I'm just curious where.

I'm sure they're around somewhere... I'd ask Mumfrey or StrongBad if it's okay to actually make a "public mod pack", though. The only reason FTB is even allowed to distribute the VoxelModPack, is due to an agreement between all the mod makers (and that includes Rei) to allow FTB to distribute it.
This isn't exactly a subject I can really speak much further on... so best to wait for an official reply.

Yes. One issue at a time, though. If I can get it to work and intend to use it I will ask the permission of the authors of all mods included (respectively) if I can use their mod in a mod-pack. I may be getting the steps backwards, but I need to see if I can get the mod working alongside every other mod I intend to use before even thinking any form of a public release. I assure you, though, that getting permissions to do such a thing comes before public release, of course. =]
I'm trying the method you spoke of as I failed to notice that the VoxelBox mod-pack was on FTB with LiteLoader files in the latest versions, so I'll post what happens.

The % signs will make it treat the HEALTH as a string eg. "20", so you just use the bare variable in the expression:

Upon double-checking, apparently on the open to LAN world (creative w/ cheats), the following permissions are denied by default:
Also, there seems to be a problem with the Chat Filter in the same open to LAN world:
Chat Filter Code:
&cmsg = "%CHATMESSAGE%";
&csnd = "%CHATPLAYER%";
&chat = "&b%&csnd% &9says &a%&cmsg%";
REPLACE("%&chat%","&([0-9a-fA-Fk-oK-OrR])[^&\xa7]","\xa7\1", &chat);
MODIFY("%&chat%");

Newp, it's just a list of values.
ehh. Feature request!
