I too, hate snow, but one of the mods I use (the jammy furniture mod) uses snow to craft the freezer, so I put up with the snow biomes anyway LOL I dont know if you've tried the jammy furniture mod, but if you like creating kitchens (which I do) it is just awesome. Not Pam quality of awesome, but still awesome
@ darchangel89 - My family and I also love this Jammy's furniture mod mixed with Pam's mods. I just loaded up a great mix of mods the include the following:
All of these mods worked well together and made a very fun mix. Each of these mods is ready for Minecraft v1.4.5. The mix of mods generates an amazing world with lots of great visuals, and gameplay depth. I have not tried yet, but I belive all of these Mods are multiplayer friendly as well. If you are anyone has interest and needs help mixing these mods together feem free to message me.
@Pam - Lastly, Thanks again for your mods, they really revitalize the whole minecraft landscape! & Yes you should try "Jammy's Furniture Mod' ... Darchange89's right! ~Have a nice day!~
Pam, wanted to thank you again for the permission you gave me for using your textures from the old Earthcraft and Hearthcraft.
For those missing her old colored blocks, now that Custom Stuff 2 has been released for 1.4.5 I have begun coding her old blocks into it and hope to release a version in the next 24-48 hours. I have finished the colored stone, cobble, stone brick, wood and sand as full blocks. If I only get a couple more done for the initial release, what would you like to see?
I redownload both apple and cotton mod, and apple sapling stll wont grow with bonemeal, and cotton still make my minecraft crashes. Here is my crash report for cotton mod:---- Minecraft Crash Report ----

Pam when you can, I notice that the popcorn recipe is a little odd. It says in NEI that to the recipe is to place popcorn in the oven to make corn? I MAY be missing something though.

Same deal with me, i thought my download was broken but when i redownloaded it was the same recipe in craftingguide, one popcorn cooks into corn.
First, I hope your day goes better this time and that everything is well with you.
Your mods look amazing and it's great how you've organized things. Now that Mo'Creatures has updated to 1.45 I'm starting a new world with as many mods as I can get working, and definetly will add this one. I would like to add my requests to others I saw about a single zip file containing all your mods (not asking for a combined mod, just an easier to d/l) though if it helps you in contributions I'm happy to download them invididually. With all the time you've spent on these, it's only fair =). Also I noticed that the other crops like onion and tomato were not listed in the recipe list you posted, am I missing something or would you like help making the complete list? If it doesn't already, and wouldn't be too difficult, perhaps they could be used to enhance current recipes, such as adding lettuce, tomatoe and onion to a hamburger. Well, keep up the good work and I'm betting my girlfriend will love the wee!flowers!
Hi Gwydion - not sure i'm understanding this right so bear with me please if i'm being stupid : ) I love PAMS mods and am gradually reinstalling them as each one is put up. The discontinuation of the ores and stones has given us a few problems though (but I understand and sympathise with Pams reasons - i'm just appreciative of having all the rest : ) )
What is Custom Stuff 2? Is it a mod - I cant find it in the forums? Do you have a link? Are you saying you are taking over the coloured smoothstone etc and ores that Pam used to do? I loved these, and they featured heavily in some of our worlds, so anything that revives them I would be very inerested in. A lot of our buildings on those worlds use Pams dark and light grey bricks and bick stairs for roofs. They would be great if you could do them.
Oh, and if you are taking them over, will they have the same ID numbers as Pams old ones?
So far I have completed porting her stone, cobble stone, stone bricks, sand, wood, leaves, bricks, bookshelves and gems. Also right now they are full blocks only, I still need to do slabs and stairs. I have changed how you craft everything but the gems. I have created 16 dye vats that work like furnaces. You put dye in and it "smelts" the appropriate block into that color. Each dye will smelt about 8 items. Bricks and clay will be made from dying the clay before you form the block or fire them into bricks. Then you will need 4 bricks of the same color to make a colored brick block.
As for the block IDs, they can be set to whatever they need to be by editing 1 file.
Had a crazy day, but I wanted to say one thing--gwydion0917, that idea of dyeing vats as furnaces is an idea I had a while ago but never implemented and I'm so glad someone else is doing something similar! That's awesome. =)
Hey Pam! Your most welcome from all of us! Yes you have lived up to our expectations with your mod and your doing a great job! I asked my daughter Lillian (11yr) what crop she would like to see soon, and she said she would like the 'Cucumbers' back. Also if possible add a recipe to make pickels from them. Have a nice day!
~splash~
Clownfish n' Family
Awesome! I've started working on the textures and recipes for the Cucumber, Grape, and Peanut mods (as you need vinegar for pickles and who just wants a grape jelly sandwich without peanut butter?). =)
Im using most of your mods now (with the exception of the giant mushroom spawn, and pam hates snow) and am loving them! You did an awesome job! Thanks again!
I tried the giant mushroom spawn, and created a flat world just to see what it was like, and there were NO trees, just giant mushrooms. And while this looked really cool, it made gathering wood a bit of a problem I would like the giant mushrooms more if, when I destroyed a block, I got a block of giant mushroom, rather than a little mushroom. Id build giant red and white spotted houses hehe
I'm glad you're liking everything. I've tried the Jammy Furniture mod, but I found it clashed with Painterly because it uses the default textures. Once I have more time, maybe I will go back and make some Painterly-like textures for it, so I can use it again.
Pam, wanted to thank you again for the permission you gave me for using your textures from the old Earthcraft and Hearthcraft.
No, no, thank you for continuing my fine work and making sure everyone can get some colored blocks when I don't have the time to deliver. I can't wait to try out your mod next time I get to play Minecraft.

If you look at the bottom of the Google Document I linked to, there are tabs for the various mods. That's where you'll find their individual recipes. I hope your girlfriend loves Weee! Flowers too. =)
Just letting the other folks know--I see your bug reports for saplings, popcorn reversing into corn, and other things. I'll be looking into those.
------------------
Also, I want to let everyone know that when I can I am attempting to improve my textures for foods, crops, and seeds instead of using the old ones where it looked like I went into MS Paint and colored with a blind fold. I can't promise magic, but I hope they look nicer. lol
Awesome! I've started working on the textures and recipes for the Cucumber, Grape, and Peanut mods (as you need vinegar for pickles and who just wants a grape jelly sandwich without peanut butter?). =)
@Pam - Great thank you so much! LOL yes I fully agree, a PBJ just isn't that same without the 'P'. =D As for vinegar I did a quick google search. It looks like a 'grain or wheat' based recipie would be proper for homeade 'white' vinegar. Have a quick look at this website: ((CLICK HERE)) ...White vinegar, salt, (maybe sugar), herbs, & cucumbers for pickels. Did you have a pickel recipie before? Just a few ideas.
Well Best of luck with things and I hope your Friday and weekend are Grrrrrr-eat!
YellowEmperor...take a look at the blue part of your post.
its trying to tell you that the block for pams cotten is currently allready taken up by a block from the divineRPG mod
i think its crashing casue both blocks cant exist in the same place at the same time?
also. with the 'get all seeds', is the grass supposed to drop carrots? i get seeds for your mod (i picked up just corn to try out) and i get those but im also finding carrots. not the seeds, the actual carrot hehe.
My kids were very happy to have their carpet back. So i promised them I would leave a nice Thank You! here for you Pam. I told them you were working on it and all that.
So now when I got home today they were all excited and showing off all the nice carpet they stuck in as many places as possible. I dunno, somehow the apple fields look a little odd with carpets...

Pam, is your cloth mod a standalone or does it need HarvestCraft base? if it does could u seperate the cloth slabs stairs etc into a standalone fforge mod?

It should work fine without HarvestCraft. Lemme know if it doesn't.
Love the mod, but the bakeware glass recipe overrides the buildcraft tank recipe. Could we get a config option to disable it and just be left with the clay brick one?
@ darchangel89 - My family and I also love this Jammy's furniture mod mixed with Pam's mods. I just loaded up a great mix of mods the include the following:
