Ok, so the server is now DOWN for wasteland. This was an extremely successful test, according to my admin buds (Harvey_J, Captain_Guy, thanks so much!), we had about 6-8 people on at most times, which is great considering I gave no promotion at all for the ip. I want to thank all of you for helping me test SMP as I literally put it together within an hour and knew it wasn't ready for release. A couple fixes and SMP should be ready to go.
SSP will be getting a small update as well, getting rid of mineshafts, as they spawn above ground, and villages. Strongholds will remain in there probably. Expect those within the new few minutes or tomorrow.
After that I work on a Stable Bukkit Build for Wasteland, and then move on to running an official Wasteland Server(which will have the Vault from the test map copied over!) this server will start off with 10-20 slots like the test server but will move on to 40 by Christmas(hopefully).
After all the builds are updated I will look at v0.9 which will add Hostile Survivor settlements(villages that have destroyed buildings and special human mobs with survivor skins). And then 1.0 which I have no ideas for! Woo!
omg this mod is aweasome i just was wondering is there a way to get bed?my first day i got 40 wooden plank 1 redstone 2 chest 1 crafting table 20 sticks 1 wooden picaxe and 1 wooden axe 3 glowstone 5 fences and 7 coal 15 dirt 6 gravel ,23 cobblestone,1 furnace beat this muahahahah >:smile.gif:
This might be hard but maybe you could make vault sort of things underground? some can be big some can be small, It would be awesome if there were some vaults :biggrin.gif:

Maybe he could replace strongholds with vaults. And mineshafts with... subway tunnels?
I dunno just some ideas I though could be cool.
The version of 1.0.0 for Multiplayer is up in the first post, (if you downloaded it within the last 10 hours, you have the correct version), I just didn't get to post about it last night. SSP also got updated.
Mediafire isn't showing me my download count, which sucks(it just says 0) however adf.ly shows 300 downloads, which is great!
I will update Bonemeal when I get the chance, hopefully today, it's a small little fix.
I will also begin Bukkit work today!

Also - For all asking for the ability to change World Gens, we're waiting on the update to Hippoplatimus' World Generation Mod, as that's the mod I use for toggling. Because I don't use modloader and instead have a bunch of source code edits, I have to edit even more files to get it to run with toggles, and it's just a mess of compatibility issues after that. (And the code looks HORRIBLE)
Strongholds will become the 'Vaults' people were asking for, with a couple changes obviously.
Mineshafts as subway tunnels... Now that's a new idea. It'd have to replace the wood with something else though (cobble?) so that it doesn't look like a mine and also so you don't get easy wood :biggrin.gif:
@liquidacao - Hmm, I haven't touched farming code, do sugarcane have problems growing on dirt as opposed to grass?

What happens if someone who doesn't have wasteland installed downloads a map that uses wasteland?
Oh, sorry about that, I forgot to answer you.
If the generator isn't installed then when you reach the bounds of the wasteland you'll get normal gen(there won't be any insane mismatches, the new ground will just have grass and reeds and all that)

I'll get it added in when I get a chance, although I kind of feel like updating the entire mod and making you guys redownload it for a red sky is kind of obnoxious.

With the "Last Days" texture pack its actually is fallout (kinda)
