I dunno what exactly I did, I reinstalled minecraft and all those APIs like 100 times. It doesn't complain about the portal gun now but the new forge didn't help - I still can't see the micro blocks .

This is entirely possible and somewhat expected. If one does not know how elements interact, randomly changing them offers only a random chance to fix them. So far you've only given us a suggestion of what elements you're using. If you want to get it fixed, try doing what the other sensible people do -- post logs.
Well I disabled TMI to check your theory and guess what ? As I said ...
I double checked that the portal gun issue is indeed related to the forge :

Not a forge erorr. That's a User error problem. (PEBCAK)
Could someone please help me? I need to use a computer to count how many times a wire pulses, but I cant seem to get the timing right!
Its looking like the only way I could hope to keep track of it is with a mechanical counter!

Alright lets see : I've got flamed for installing a mod - very nice of you guys. I'm going to post here step by step what I did. Tell me what's wrong:
1. Download a fresh minecraft.Jar 1.2.5
2. Installing modLoader 1.2.5 (I know guys you say there is no need but for some reason it doesn't want to run without it) - Placed into minecraft.jar
3. Deleted META-INF .
4. Installed minecraft forge 3.3.7.135 - put into minecraft.Jar .
5. Installed RedPower Core 2.0 pr5b2 - placed ZIP into "Mods" Folder.
6. Opened minecraft to see the micro blocks still don't work.
Crash log or it didn't happen ? It didn't , minecraft didn't crash. If you are about the portal gun I posted it on the prev page.
even if MC didn't crash, there's probably something in the modloader.txt (or whatever it's called now that modloader is part of forge). post that (in a spoiler) and then we may be able to help you.
I have a few questions for Eloraam about her plans for the future 1.3 version of this mod: Are you going to use the unused Ruby texture in items.png for the Ruby? And are you going to have the vanilla Emeralds, Emerald Ore, and Block of Emerald replace the ones in this mod? Also, are you going to use the removed Ruby Ore texture from one of the snapshots for the Ruby Ore? And are you going to change the Sapphire Ore texture to match the Emerald Ore texture?

Hehe thx mate . Turns out it requires redPower wiring ! Which is weird .
I'll never ever check mods one by one when I install them ! Thx Airwolf , and screw all those who posted random flaming ... Nerd-Boy was right when he talked about a screwed community when he temporary shut down the battlegear mod. He just concentrated on the wrong half of the forum. The other half is so afraid of the small kids who can't read FAQs that they automatically flame anyone who may look to them such. Time to grow up.
Its a great mod, but I'm worried it will slow down my already SLOW minecraft.I have a 2005 HP computer that is LOADED with programs, and has an old videocard. It had barely any RAM, about 900 MB of RAM free.Should I go ahead and install it all, or get a new computer Then install it?
@Iv121:
You weren't "flamed" for installing a mod, but for the way how you reacted and for how you automatically assumed the fault to be in the mods you installed. Just imagine reading this from someone else's perspective:
Amazing - I hate forge. I know it was made with good intentions and stuff but man I've never seen so many trouble caused by a single API ... poorly executed.
I have installed the newest version of forge, now it complains that it missess files for the portal gun mod ... OFC IT MISSES FILES FOR THE PORTAL GUN MOD I DON"T HAVE THE FREAKING PORTAL GUN MOD !
Not a forge erorr. That's a User error problem. (PEBCAK)
So you *repeatedly* install something wrong and blame Forge for the issue? Here's a hint: to find the real issue look in a mirror.
But unfortunately as you see above it was only an excuse to go offensive on me. This is a pointless topic that works both ways so I'd prefer to close it.
I Found a bug, but not a crash bug. I now know 2 recipes for Hollow Cobblestone Covers:
Right way:
CC CC CC
CC 00 CC
CC CC CC
CC = Cobblestone cover 00 = Blank
Bugged Way (secret recipe?):
RW RW RW
RW 00 RW
RW RW RW
RW = Red alloy Wire 00 = Blank

Just tried it and it's the same for me, lol.
I suspect it's because they share the same ID. I also tried it with all the other items that share its ID and it works for all of them, too (i.e. tubes, all cables, all cut blocks, etc.).
Edit: Ok, apparently it doesn't work for all the cut blocks, but everything except them.

solution: get a new computer, HERE is a suggestion if you want a good laptop
This thing is f***ed up .
. . . wait. I threw the README file in and it fixed it?!? What the heck is wrong with this mod's code that you need the readme file to load it . . .
How can one not know what they've done?
And without error logs to know which APIs one is installing, troubles are virtually impossible to troubleshoot.

You weren't "flamed" for installing a mod, but for the way how you reacted and for how you automatically assumed the fault to be in the mods you installed. Just imagine reading this from someone else's perspective:
But unfortunately as you see above it was only an excuse to go offensive on me. This is a pointless topic that works both ways so I'd prefer to close it.
Right way:
CC CC CC
CC 00 CC
CC CC CC
CC = Cobblestone cover 00 = Blank
Bugged Way (secret recipe?):
RW RW RW
RW 00 RW
RW RW RW
RW = Red alloy Wire 00 = Blank
Just tried it and it's the same for me, lol.
I suspect it's because they share the same ID. I also tried it with all the other items that share its ID and it works for all of them, too (i.e. tubes, all cables,
all cut blocks, etc.).Edit: Ok, apparently it doesn't work for all the cut blocks, but everything except them.
Perharps some Coils we can build the size we want piece by piece?
solution: get a new computer, HERE is a suggestion if you want a good laptop
install wiring if you haven't already done so
