Can I make a crash report here? I love the mod and it worked for a few days but then whenever I start up minecraft after waiting a bit for it to load the mods, my whole comp just goes black and crashes. I even tried getting the pack again but still the same happened. I'm using a refurbished Ubuntu Gateway laptop and everything has been updated for minecraft 1.5.2. I even tried looking for odd files but finding nothing. Vanilla minecraft works fine too. Does anyone know what could have happened?
Just thought i would be helpful to anyone trying to run mo's creatures with the AMCO mod. All you need to do is delete the minions mod, not sure why but it is not compatible...
Anyone know how to install this into the new launcher? I've tried using both launchers and with the old just get a crash/unresponsive before getting into the menu. And with the new launcher I get the texture packs and stuff but when I get ingame in a world none of the mods are present. Also with the old launcher I have tried both times with and without deleting the original META-INF folder but both ways end up in a crash. Any help would be nice.
Okay, I am completely confused. How do you get the minium stone's crafting grid up? I've fiddled with the keyconfig some, but I haven't seen anything for the stone and it still doesn't work when I've freed up the default key for it. Grf. (I miss my minium crafting...)

Are battle towers supposed to randomly spawn after an area is loaded? I set up a quarry 2 days ago and have an on off switch at my house and when I turned it on today it wouldn't go on so I went to check it out and a battle tower had spawned ontop of my spot loader, my tesseract and my ender chest destroying them all and breaking the quarry. Ok so i have some problems. Now i'm running pretty well! Very rare lag and stops. So to the problem, when i hit a block it disappears reappears disappears again and then drop the item which then takes like 10 seconds to pick up. Now this only happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I think it has to do with something server like. Whenever i load up a world the console says its setting up a server. The "block lag" makes it very hard to play and i'm starting to quit on the mod pack. I'm also having a problem where the kingdom won't show up. (Tale of kingdoms)
(This is on singleplayer) If someone could help it would be very much appreciated! - 1mwb
Edit: Almost forgot! When i try to open chest/furnace or any other item like that it pauses for like 5 seconds and then opens.
I can't get It to start here is the crash report http://paste.ubuntu.com/5835243/
mc version: 1.5.2

Please help me.
Your error report contains:
"Exception in thread "Minecraft main thread" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space"
This means the vanilla launcher is not allocating enough memory for all the mods, especially the ones that add new stuff durring world generation.
Using Java 8 or one of the LaunchMinecraft.bat files included in the download should fix PermGen problems.

Thanks a ton!
It is common for people to write into the forum with thier problems.
Hardly anyone writes in with a solution.
I'll put your suggestion on the forum's front page.
Now wen I've installed this my MC gives a black screen.
What should I've done wrong?
I hope you will answer this because I really want it all installed.
Greedzzz
It is very difficult to help anyone without an error report like Mathew995's.
However, the "game won't start, blackscreen" is the #1 issue in the "Known Bugs/Fixes" section.
Try using one of the LaunchMinecrfat.bat files included in AMCO's download, or install Java 8.
Sorry to everyone else who is having trouble, but I really need those error reports.
Thanks to everyone else who's posted a mod suggestion, or a bug fix idea.
I still do not know why some blocks are disaprearing or rendering funny: Glowing roots, Cave mushrooms, and Silverwood leaves.
My guess it is from using a 32x32 texture back without MCpatcher/HDtextureFix installed.
When is the next update:
We are in a tricky spot right now.
1.6 is out, but many mods are still not up to date.
1.6.+ will probably be out next week, which might reset all the mods again.
1.7 is rumored to be out soon after that, which includes biome changes, and will probably reset most mods again, again.
On the other hand, I haven't updated AMCO for 1.5.2 in almost a month now.
Clearly something must be done this week, but what...
Which is my best move:
Keep AMCO at 1.5.2, keeping over 150 mods but get thier latest (1.5.2) versions, maybe adding a few here and there, and work on things like new textures and dungeons untill 1.7 comes out.
Change AMCO to support 1.6 now, probably only able to include 30-50 mods because the others are not updated yet, and maybe build back up to 150 mods before the 1.6.1 reset, but maybe not.
The disappearing silverwood sapling/leaves cinderpearl stuff is happening with the default texture pack since I dislike using anything but the vanilla. I think you should go to 1.6 and add the mods as they update. When 1.7 comes out you'll have to redo everything anyway so the only point in stabilizing 1.5.2 would be for legacy versions wuth people using older versions of minecraft. I imagine that adding mods as they come out would make it easier to identify the source of bugs leading to a more stable release

I would like to see Minions deleted, Mo' Creatures & Biomes O' Plenty added, along with more BC & IC2 addons (like Logistic Pipes and Additional Buildcraft Objects), and everything updated for 1.5.2 and stay at 1.5.2 for awhile. By the time enough mods update to 1.6.2 (or whatever MC gets up to in the near future) to make it worth your while to compile them in a mod pack like this one, MC 1.7 will be coming out and some mods will never make it to your 1.6.X mod pack. Perhaps it would make sense to leave the 1.5.2 version active and updated, while at the same time offering a 1.6.x mod pack with less mods and more frequent updates. The 1.5.2 version would be the stable, full-featured one while the 1.6.x will be more of a WIP. Besides, 1.6 didn't bring THAT many cool features. I'm fine with playing 1.5 for quite awhile. The horses in Mo' Creatures are already better than the ones in vanilla MC 1.6.
I put together a somewhat similar mod pack by basically creating FTB Ultimate for MC 1.5.2 (minus the mods that aren't updated to 1.5.2, *cough RedPower cough*), then adding my favorite mods like Biomes O Plenty & Mo' Creatures & all the UniversalElectricy mods & SimpleOres, GemCraft, ArsMagica, etc. I think I spent the most time on putting together a mostly Sphax 128x texture pack that covered 95% of the items & blocks. It sure is nice to not have 16x textures, but Sphax is the only TP that has even half of the 1.5.x mods. I tried Soartex, JohnSmith, & Faithful TP's, as they seem to have good mod support, but they are at like 30% coverage of my mod pack. Looking forward to more mod support for Soartex. Anyway, not sure where I was going with this...
How do you uninstall this!?!? I have tried my hardest to delete it, but it won't go away. It is impossible to use ANY mods, even AFTER I deleted all of the mods.
BTW:0/5 stars=Awful. I followed the instructions PERFECTLY but still wouldn't work= >
Dude,
The latest revision of the pack has been downloaded over 22,000 times, abviously it works fine for most people.
And if people who have trouble post an error report we have a really high success rate of helping them out too.
Let's be realistic. Statistics suggest there is just something wrong with the way you've installed or are launching the game.
However, your mind might already be made up to uninstall.
You can uninstall by deleting the contents or your .minecraft folder and replacing them with the contents of your minecraft_old folder.
Don't have a minecraft_old folder? Then you didn't follow Step1 of the instructions which would also explains why the pack is not working:
Some mod you already had installed is conflicting with one of the ones in AMCO.
AMCO requires a fresh install of Minecraft 1.5.2, which is why Step 1 tells you a super easy way to backup (and recover) everything.
Other than that, the most common problem people have is that they have a system that does not allocate enough memory to run all the mods.
Launch Minecraft from one of the LaunchMinecraft.bat files included in the download, or install Java 8.
That's item #1 in the "Known Bugs/Fixes" section.
However, since all the instructions have been read and followed so perfectly that must already be done.
So, our last chance to get you up and running is for you to post a proper error report (which is your "output-client.log" file by the way).
That's also in the instructions for posting a bug, but somehow has not been done. Suspicious.
Despite your grumpiness I'd still be willing to read whatever error report you have and send in whatever help I can.
Peace.

P.S.
About 'Mo Creatures', whoes websight clearly states:
There ya have it.
I had permission to inlcude 'Mo Creatures' a year ago, but Dr.Zark has since changed his mind.
First and foremost I must respect the wishes of the mod authors.
I am not allowed to inlcude it, but people are welcome to download and isntall it themselves if they like.
That's after disabeling 'Minions' as JuzzEnvy suggests above.
I'll put that info on the front page, along with the missing uninstall instructions.
