Hey Arrg, Thank you for making this! This is currently the only reason I'm still using v1.1, so thanks for ALL of the hard work! This mod pack is the best I've seen and I heard that your working on getting it updated now, which i REALLY appreciate.
Hello guys! Just saying that I LOVE the new look of the forums! Guys need some help?
YES! I've been trying to find out what mod it is that allows me to make blocks that can be placed in multiple spots in one block space, which are called slabs, strips, corners, etc. I want to support who made this mod so I really want to know what it's called and who made it. Thanks!

That would be Redpower 2! Eloraam made it who also makes Minecraft forge. Forge is needed to run most of the mods in this pack. Anyway, to cut blocks: what you do is you craft a saw, put it in the middile of the table, and put cobbestone or whatever block you want in the surrounding it. Or you can look at this: http://nemesis.evalq...r2/recipes.html Just scroll to the bottom and it shows all of the ways to cut blocks! Arrrg should be back soon!
Delete modloader.cfg in the config folder. rename strange.cfg to ModLoader.cfg. The reason for this is that there are not enough block ID's in 1.1. Also, some mods are incompatible with eachother. This config file has the ability to turn mods off and on.
I'm back from vacation with 2 big "wow"s.
1) Minecraft has been updated to 1.2, so it's time for me to get to work on AMCO for 1.2, which will take a week or two.
2) AMCO's download count is exploding. Super big thanks to all of you who are spreading the word.
And another big thanks to everyone whos been answering questions and keeping the forum alive the last few weeks.

Arrrg.
Thanks for all the work, I've been pacing around the vanilla 1.2 world and checking this forum every 30 minutes lol (excited for this)
is there any way to help you out? I know a lot of your work depends on other mod creators getting their stuff together — is there a minecraft modder's fund or something similar which would help incentivize people?

No problem man! Hope you had a nice vacation! The main question was: How do I get more creeps and weirdos? Can u put something on the OP so that people stop asking? thanks
I'm trying to get BC additional pipes to work with the AMCO pack, so far I've encountered only 1 block ID overlap, but I'm having a difficult time compiling a list of block ID's you've used to find an unavailable one, the blockID is 179 which is used by IC2 blocktexglass as well as additional pipes blockchunkloader. The mods I have are AMCO, Optifine standard, smooth, and multi-core, and additional pipes. Perhaps you could try and get additional pipes into your next version too, it's nice having the advanced pipes to filter out blocks you don't want, and the teleport pipes cut the lag by monumental amounts. Just a thought. But it would be very appreciated if you could give me an unused block ID for the chunkloader to occupy. Thx a billion.

go into your inventory with NEI enabled, go Options->Show Unused Blocks, then look through NEI to find a block ID that isn't used.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Freakin' useful mod (I only use it for SSP!)
I like to play FTB with some additions. Also custom modsets are awesome!

Hey thanks jalfje, that worked.
If anyone else is trying to add in additional pipes you need to get version for client 32.3 which is for buildcraft 2.1.12 download linky and I used block ID 167, the way I changed it was by dropping the additional pipes zip file into the .minecraft/mods folder and attempting a client start, gives you an error blah blah blah close it, go into the .minecraft\buildcraft\config folder and open additionalpipes.cfg in notepad, find the line blockchunkloader block id=179 and change 179 to 167 save it and exit. badda bing, additional pipes should work, remember to back yo stuff up everytime you go changein stuff around, or else be prepared to reinstall vanilla and all mods!
Greetings all, just stopping in with a quick update on the progress of building ACMO for 1.2.3: Good news: Over half of the mods in ACMO 1.1 have already been updated (32 by my count). Modders are amazingly responsive. Those guys totaly rock! Bad news: Most of the more complex/core mods (BuildCraft, RedPower, EE, ThaumCraft) are still being worked on, so probably no update to ACMO before this weekend. Great news: The base game now has way more ID codes, which really unties my hands for getting more mods to work together. Should be able to get everything to work all at once now. No more themes. Moohoohaahaaahaaaa.

by the way, can you put some mods in the "extra" folder? So that we don't have to install every singlemod that we dont want? Thanks anyway! Amco 1.2 is going to be ssiiiiccckkkk!!!
P.S: Can you leave the block I.Ds the same so that we can keep 1.1 worlds? That would be amazing
