In that sense, doesn't BTW enrich the challenge of early-game as well?
...
The stewing pot is meant to be resourceless- so what is the problem with making lava able to power it. I just feel there should be more ways to get from point A, to point B.
I think you just answered your own question. Requiring the player to go to the Nether to get access to a reliable Cauldron is part of that early game challenge in providing the player with a clearly defined goal to work towards, and a reward for achieving it (infinite cooking).
Allowing the player to use lava would remove that initial drive to go to the Nether almost entirely, and eliminate the need for coal in the early game almost entirely as well.
The nether is also a big part of BTW's gameplay, and properly integrating it into the mod has always been one of the design-goals behind the mod since the very start of me working on it.
You could also use wood/leaves/wool in the early game; since if you haven't managed to get diamonds yet, I doubt you'll have resources in such a quantity that you can't oversee the process with a flint&steel.
Oh!
That's right!
Derp! Derp!
Thank you so much, if possible, please instruct the auidence that they may lower thier stones now.
It sounds like freight cars moving around! I like it though, it finally motivated me to install an on/off lever for my millstone.
It is undeniably loud, but I think it is better than the old explosion noises
the ideal configuration is a turntable on the 3rd setting with a torch on each side, just powering the one line of redstone directly to the gearbox attached to the bellows
I see a lot has changed over the month or so 1.4.2 was in pre-releases. Shouldn't be much urge to use the 1.5 pre-releases this time around if they are only rendering/light fixing.
Also sadface about removing diamonds from villager trading. Its about the only thing they sold I like buying. But I didn't see anything about nerfing iron golem spawning or using emerald blocks/beacon.
Still looking over it all. Now that beds are useless, it'd be funny if villagers bred when you gave two of them a bed like you give cows wheat. Makes more sense then villagers breding by looking at rows of doors.
I just noticed that when a head gets sucked in by a block dispenser somehow a wither skeleton skull is created. I've searched this forum for quite a while, but I have not found something about this. Was this intended (i don't hope so ^^) or is this a bug?

don't know wether someone is interested or not, I'vereenabled the sleeping in single and multiplayer. Just my own flavour, I love to have it and I'm just too used to it.
In Multiplayer it's untested, but in singleplayer some friends confirmed that it works. Message me with any problems...
Anyone interested? - removed

You're doing something that not a lot of people can do, and you think other people would benefit from it. You wanted to share your creation with the world. I won't fault you for that. But yeah, look at it from FlowerChilds point of view, and you're effectively undoing the work done.
Also, you really are depriving yourself of quite a lot of gameplay here, as nighttime and the challenge it presents extend the playtime of minecraft, and cutting it out only hurts the players. But if you still want to redistribute your modifications, try packaging them as a patch file so as not to redistribute any code that isn't yours.

you think that is bad, just wait until you have to use it to grind up netherrack
I just noticed that, a little disappointed. That used to really freak me out before
I just boosted it

Instructions here are for 1.3.2 of minecraft. But the steps are the same.

Bug. I just fixed it this morning.
