I love the damned things. I just don't trust FC not to add something potentially catastrophic to them at some point, so I'm holding out on foresting my nether ^.^
Holy balls you are right! I think you just convinced me to start my nether farm. Bahaha!
Side note: Battosay is a beast and I love his videos. I'm trying to learn a lot on my own but nothing replaces those videos in giving you ideas.
i think making cats cough up hairballs and using them for XP potions will give them an industrial use befitting their natural awesomeness.
(I know, it's not my own idea but i think this would really be awesome.)
I believe that suggestions geared primarily toward making non-useful things / entities useful is not something that is generally considered.
Also, I can't believe I'm saying this because I haven't made an XP farm yet even though I really need to and would like to in the near future. I would really hate to see an item drop become used in synthesized XP in some way. I think that would be horribly overpowered and not fun.
But you're encouraging us to build bases in the nether :/Wouldn't it make more sense to transport them to a random point in the end? Disabling the enderdragon spawn, ofc.
I think you drastically underestimate what I mean by "random location". Being transported 1000 km in the Nether is unlikely to be beneficial regardless of how much you've built it up.

IDEA: Bloodwood ents. Cutting down a bloodwood tree has a chance of spawning an ent in its place. Ents are generally peaceful, but really don't like people cutting down trees.

May the Force be with you. Unless you're a troll, in which case, may the farce be with you.
Can you please make a new version with forge support it has so many more capabilities when you are able to use mods like BuildCraft, IC2, Railcraft, and so many more with this mod. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would probably agree that this is an amazing mod but that it was twice as amazing when it was compatible with forge.

And I'm sure many other people would know that FC left the forge for a reason, and isn't planning on using it again anytime soon.
There are two mods that are absolutely integral to my livelihood as a minecraft player: Mo Creatures and Nature Overhaul.
Are they compatible with Better than wolves?
Or he has Better Then BuildCraft installed, in which case it is enabled by default.

I think killing cats will result in immediate transportation to a random area of the Nether, at a random height-value.
I leave that to the whim of the cat gods.
Please, please, don't give him ideas.
That's 'speciesist'.

You've sortof assigned a completely unreasonable value as a blockID.

Actually, cats are a "genus". :tongue.gif:
Yeah, but 'genusist' just doesn't have the same ring.
By the way, can you guys see my new profile picture? I can't.
What were you doing right before it froze?
You probably installed Forge... it'll do that when used in conjunction with BTW from time to time.
Lacking any other information, I'd say you likely have Forge installed. Don't do that.
And I'm sure many other people would know that FC left the forge for a reason, and isn't planning on using it again anytime soon.
