Hey can anyone tell me which one includes most/all and also gives most FPS ? my understanding is that the HD_A is the basic one, but which one do i use otherwise ?
PC SPECS:
Windows 7 Ultimate
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 1 GDDR5 RAM
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel Core i7 Q 720 @ 1.60GHz (Virtually 8 Cores)
Beats Audio
You should use HD_MT_A. 8 cores is too many for me as i have only 2 cores lol

Use OptiFine 1.8.1_HD_MT_A because you have more than one core. I have dual cores and my FPS is much higher now. I can't imagine with more.
specs:
Processor: intel core i7 quad core 2.2ghz
graphic card: 4 gb
its just better than my old pc and on my older pc its fine (54,65,(sometimes:80)fps)
(iam using 16x16 default pack)
1/my fps is 18,14,15 if i go underround its 120
2/i set my minecraft to: render distance: tinny
graphics: fast
smooth lighting: on
brightness: 100%
view bobbing: on
gui scale: auto
advanced openGL: on
can ANYONE HELP ME ???
Same as above. You also didn't really explain what problem you are having.
Try using a different version. Also, did you repackage the .jar correctly? I still have issues installing mods on my Mac after a few months, so a lot of the time I just install them via Windows then move the .jar over to my Mac. If you own a PC, try that.
I'm sure I did everything right... and no, I do not have a pc that I can do the stuff on and then transfer. I've tried every version and none work. :/ Thanks for the tips, though.
] Hi I am a really Happy user of 1.7.3 but as of recently this mod stopped working for older macs running leopard or lower :sad.gif: ... Which entirely defeats the purpose. I thinks it because we run the java software 1.5... Anyway all of us mac users cant really play minecraft because of lag and that kinda make me upset.... Im guessing this is due to the wiki site u really on for the minecraft jar thing. I'd be so happy if can help! This is a fantastic mod and i love love love it, and I know its not ur fault, but please fix this:/ diamons to you sir...
EDIT: looking at the other post in the past 24 hours lots of mac users are having problems too
I started with a clean jar and installed OptiFine 1.8.1_HD_MT_A on my intel core 2 Quad and I get holes in the world graphics when I do antything in game does it have something to do with my quad because it only works on dualcore CPU-s ?

Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
