Hmmm... I seem to have forgotten about the HD textures when I updated NetherCraft so it would require ItemSpriteAPI. If I remember correctly, all of the item textures are separate, while in the most recent update, all item textures are located on one sprite sheet. I'll try and find a fix for it another day, since I'm a little wore out from other bug updates and such.
OK. An answer I can understand! :happy.gif: Thank you, Scokeev. I can stop ruining my jars trying to figure out a way to make it all HD. Just between you and me, Nethercraft is my favorite mod. :smile.gif:

I tried a few mods, but I can't confirm this is 1000000% working because I literally have 0 terrain indices left and I'm not looking around forever to find a mod that doesn't add terrain indices but does add lots of sprites. It should work no problem, it's showing in logs that it's working, I just need to find a way to do the same thing your doing with item sprites and convert it to terrain sprites so modders don't need to do anything and it's automatic.
I've installed forge 1.2.2 and ItemSpriteApi4. But when I install your merge patch I'm getting this error: :-(

I'm not a modder, and this was just something I did for myself, but posted it to see if it works for others. Anyway, the 2 things that come to mind in this error..
Are you installing mods using MCPatcher? Try without...
#2 do you have Java7 thats what I compiled with.

You can start using this to test the patch: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m8jgx79797g6jbc
It's a modified version of my Machetes mod with a for loop set to run "ModLoader.AddOverride("/gui/items.png", "/machete/machete-gold.png")" 500 times, then it overrides the real machetes, so you can ensure the new items-X.png files are working accordingly.
Posted the link to ItemSpriteAPI 4.0 and Forge 1.2.2 Patch on the OP. Thank you for the confirmation of functionality, fjavier2k, and thanks again Casper7526!

Glad to see it worked just fine, now if only I could find something this easy to do so that BlockID's and and Terrain sprites worked without compat issues...
Maybe one day I'll sit down and actually start modding for minecraft instead of working on other projects...I just wish someone could "easily" get "unlimited" everything working in a single mod without having to have hooks.. as in what your doing with 4.0 but do it with all the ID types. That way people could just use 1 mod + modloader(most likely) and all these limits would be null and void without special coding (other then modloader hooks).
Then again I wish they would announce they are atleast starting to work on the "mod support" as an official feature...
PS - You might want to add in your OP that I used Java7, I mean I assumed 90% of people have it already, but yeah lol.

The problem with terrain sprites is that in-world block rendering takes much more CPU performance since it creates rectangles in a 3D space; whereas, 2D rendering occurs much less and.. well, it's 2D. Besides using ModLoader's RenderWorldBlock hook, I'm not certain how to use new terrain.png files, since it's a little more complicated.
Increasing block ID limits just requires a massive number of base class file changes and Java knowledge (from what I understand).
And I've added the note about Java7.
are you going to try to make new textures for the chests in premiumwood?
Probably not, unless people voted to have the old chests back. I may put up a poll asking for the majority, though I'm not sure if I want to annoy people who like the new chests more.
I really like the mod, Nethercraft, and I noticed some bugs in the latest patch, so here they are.
- The Imps do not show up on screen. (Even with a texture)
- When I have a stack of Gloshroom Stew, I eat it at once and the whole stack is converted to one bowl
That's all of the bugs I have found in the mod so far.

I do agree that these bugs are bad, but I have found a bug that may be related to the new itemsprite/forge api merge DL.
It seems certain items look different when dropped. I only have BC 2.2.7, RP2, IC2, EE, nethercraft.
I hope someone can figure out this problem and fix it, but no rush.
If you'd like me to, I can post the patched files on the OP giving you credit.

Indeed. I just sent him the source earlier today.

Paste your ModLoader.txt file so we can see the error...
You can make 2 more posts until Today, 06:57 PM
This restriction is in place until you have 3 more approved posts (DUMB)
They are simply not compatible, Premium Wood and Nethercraft.
