I love you mod i just have one problem. the way you find villages around, if you have 4 or more villlages around each other you press the button to show where they are and they spam the chatbox and i get really confused xD so there no better way to show the villages around you? like in a windows or something =/?
There is another way to do that, but it involves some hacking. If you open up your saves folder for your world, you should find a file titled "villages.txt" which records all the villages you've discovered. It's a bit cheating, yes, but it's a good way of keeping track where your villages are. Hitting the "v" button always reveals the closest village to you (it's the last line), so it's not that big a problem. My only wish, though, is to have Millenaire villages spawn more further apart as at present the distance between villages is making my game somewhat unplayable.
Note that it will change all the time, and old villages have to be "rediscovered" should you somehow wipe this .txt file.

Having an issue with town generation... none of the signs have writing on them. Is this harmful? I can't see, for instance, town maps this way, but I don't know if it's 'broken' anything else.

If you want to chang the distance go the the config.txt file in the millenaire folder and change the Min_village_distance to somthing larger. I think its default is 600m. Also decreasing the village radius will increase performance but the villagers will build less buildings.

Its a bug that they are fixing. In no way is this harmful its just annoying. Quiting and going back in fixes this temporarily.

Hey Kinniken, i know this would be a big ask but is there any chance of you being able to do similar to better than wolves and have a version of this that includes the required "forge" files so that forge itself is not needed. As I would love to use this and BTW but can't as this uses forge and BTW does not work with forge...

I need help, me and a couple of mates are trying to get a server up and running but there is no info or guides to help us on how to set one up. If someone could link or describe in a step by step process on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

.... that is not what I said... I have used this and forge many times, and Ive never used an auto install for this.
Im asking if he can remove the dependency for Forge (at least a second version like this) that is similar to Better Than Wolves (it used Forge, but than moved away from it and now uses a few of the same classes that Forge does, meaning you cant use Forge and BTW together, meaning no Millenaire and BTW in the same world)

Ahh your post doesn't make much sense and i assumed you were meaning forge doesn't work with millenaire and that only happens when you use the installer.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
Hello, does anyone know how migration of villagers to other towns works?
For the first time ever, I discovered the joys of having and managing a player-owned village. Unfortunately, I'm suffering from a lack of workers, and so I've been visiting other settlements, trying to convince them to send migrants over to help man my guard posts and farms. However, I've stayed in a hamlet for several consecutive nights but the villagers (they have at least one teenager) aren't in a hurry to leave. Does anyone know how long I have to wait before occupants of a Relais move on?

It can't. But if you kill all of the villagers in a village, their chests would unlock, and you could get anything you want. Nothing else happens.
of course it can other villages can rob another village

Ahh your post doesn't make much sense and i assumed you were meaning forge doesn't work with millenaire and that only happens when you use the installer.
Try exiting Minecraft and restarting again. This problem seems to happen especially if you are using custom texture packs.
Some good news for Steampunk fetishists:
Here's some experimental textures for Millenaire support:
Keiko armour ....
...and o-yoroi armour (uncoloured)
It won't be long before we have a full set of brand new and spanking 32x support for Japanese items, but it's going to take some time.
ANSI does not work
ANSI as UTF-8 work
Sorry for bad English
